Aika had quite literally pulled Jin out of his house straight after waking up. He was pulled out in chains of magic and given no choice but to leave his home. Only under guard by his two foxes Hinata and Taiki. But dragging him out brought its own problems. It left her completely unprepared as to what to do. So despite not having breakfast, not showering or practising basic hygiene, and only using magic to clean themselves, they had a surprisingly fun date just winging it.
The date was unprepared, unplanned and had no previous thought behind it, but the two lovers made the most of it. Breakfast was expensive, but they ate out. Though the only reason it was so expensive was because Jin ate a lot of Souffle Pancakes. Topped with maple syrup and an assortment of berries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. An expensive, but well-worth-it meal for Jin who had a sweet tooth. Aika too had pancakes but opted for a pistachio flavour, not eating even half of the amount Jin ate.
He made it an expensive meal. Ordering plate after plate. It was one of the main reasons he didn't eat out. If he found something he liked, he couldn't resist buying it and eating more.
Afterwards, Jin and Aika went on a walk so their meal could properly digest. Yet while it was early in the morning so what Jin did may have not meant much, he held and kissed Aika when he wanted to. His hand was on her lower back, holding her close. He didn't even know why he didn't do this often at school. But he liked kissing her and it seemed reciprocated. He liked holding her close and Aika definitely reciprocated that hugging his arm tight.
Aika and Jin held each other close as they continued on a walk. The date didn't just end with breakfast together. Jin brought some much-needed clothes. Lacking many casual clothes, as seen by the fact he nearly always wore different pairs of the same martial arts gear. The same style Ban always wore. Jin also brought Aika clothes and as always, a girl he loved a very special set of lingerie. Something Aika looked beautiful in. The lingerie was blue and lacy. Tied around her body with thin string. It was something she loved and wore in the changing rooms as they made out.
Once their love was out in the open, with no borders between them, their love was unbound. They were free to express it any way they wanted. Anywhere they wanted.
But after so long outside, wandering around, buying clothes, eating, and being affectionate to one another, Aika then seemed very pushy about going back home. Almost as if she was on a time limit to get back. Too long outside you would have thought it was deadly for her.
Jin: Aika.
Jin said to Aika who was walking in front. Walking in strides and with a pace that said she was walking with purpose. To a destination, no one would stop her from getting to. Even if lightning struck her now with divine intervention, Jin fully well believed she would have shrugged it off and kept walking.
Jin: Aika is this really necessary?
Jin asked but Aikas pase didn't stop. One moment they were having a nice gentle stroll, the next minute she threw the bags into his hands and began power walking. A capital P in power. In fact, all of the letters in power were capitalised. POWER in her walk.
Jin: Aika are the chains really necessary? People were looking at us strangely. {I'm getting strange feelings and ideas that I'm beginning to not trust my brain.}
Jin said as his hands were by his side, holding the shopping bags they had. Chains wrapped around him, made from the magic Aika used. Metallic chains which bounded his upper body movement, only allowing his legs to walk as fast as she was. One very strong chain attached to a collar around his neck. The main chain within many.
Aika: This is very necessary! Also who cares if people are looking, I think chains and a collar look good on you. {I could definitely get used to it. I think Mittelt would love to see a collar on you.} Besides we're almost home.
Jin: Why do you seem so driven to get home though?
Aika looked back at Jin as they walked together. It could have been seen that Aika was dragging Jin. But as she looked back at his confused face, she could only sigh deeply.
Aika: Of all the things you remember with that great memory, I can't believe you forgot that.
Jin: Forgot what?
Jin said genuinely confused, but as they got home, their home only a few meters away, Jin felt something off. Immediately breaking the chains with the slightest movement to Aikas surprise, he stood in front of her like a shield in front of danger.
Aika: Jin?
Jin: Aika lots of people are inside the house.
Aika widened her eyes as she quickly raised her hand, slapping Jin over the back of the head, and making him give out a small groan of pain. Magic enhancing the hit gave the back of his head a slight sting.
Aika: Don't use magic to sense the inside! It was supposed to be a surprise!
Jin: A surprise?
Aika: Don't you dare look closer! *Sigh* This took a month to prepare.
Jin couldn't help but get more confused at Aikas words. Jin, a small fox was often left confused. Aika knew that and couldn't help but sigh, yet somehow still found it adorable. Holding his hand and walking to his door.
Aika said not to sense magic, but it wasn't something Jin actively did. He couldn't help but sense the energies around him. Their differences. So as he got closer and closer to his door, he realised those differences. He began to realise who was behind the door before it opened. Widening his eyes in shock, but for a very different reason than the opening of the door.
Everyone: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIN!
Small pops rang out as coloured paper strings shot out from party poppers. Rias, Akeno, Sona, Kiba, Tsubaki, Kunuo, Mittelt, Yasaka, Koneko, Saji. It would be easier to say who wasn't here in the dojo than who was. The dojo was covered in colourful paper chains, hanging from wall to wall, and a banner of Happy Birthday on the roof hanging down. Jin could feel his foxes Hinata and Taiki taking the opportunity to sleep on his bed.
Why wouldn't they when everyone was busy with this birthday they were setting up and celebrating?
However, even with the surprise birthday party, something organised by Aika. A date she remembered over the years and Jin forgot. Something Jin didn't celebrate after he left Yasaka. Jin was worried about something else. Rushing up to Yasaka and holding her shoulders, surrounding her in his energy that glowed a gentle blue.
Jin: Are you okay?!
Jin asked as everyone seemed surprised by his abnormal reaction. Though Aika only sighed.
The plan didn't go exactly as thought out.
Yet again.
