Ch 162 - Resting Of Two

Something went passed Rias mind and it completely changed what was happening. The internal conflict going through her mind stopped any passion Jin and she were having in the shower. Her beauty didn't once falter, but it seemed the views of herself changed. She was keeping something from Jin, yet she was unable to tell him. She wanted to tell him, overcome that barrier between them, take Jin by the face and passionately kiss him. Taking him as her boyfriend, being his girlfriend. But thoughts spiralled through her mind.

If she was to tell him what she had been keeping from him, then just like he saw Sona and Aika, she might have lost his trust. She might have thought she was using him. What she was keeping hidden, it would have made sense and it would have been the most realistic conclusion. The love Jin felt for her, the relationship they built and the one Rias wanted, it all could have been ruined after she told Jin.

That's what she thought.

But at the same time, not telling him could have destroyed their relationship too. This secret, it wasn't one she could keep forever. Sooner or later it was going to come out, expose itself. Sooner or later Jin would find out. She didn't want this secret what it was, she hated it. Not telling Jin and him finding out on his own, could have been so much worse. But at least there was a chance of the secret being hidden. However, she had a strong instinct it wouldn't be kept.

But she couldn't find the strength to tell him. Either way, she believed their relationship was destined to fail. So even for a bit, she wanted to keep it.

She gently washed Jin as her hands travelled along his body. On each near-invisible scar, she was gentle. Gently touching them as she continued to wash him off. Jin showed her such passion and love, so she would do the same. Gently kissing his wounds, as if to heal them. She cleaned every part of Jin's body, tracing her fingers along the mounds of his abs. Trying to remember Jin's physique, commit it to memory before she could never see it again.

As she finished cleaning Jin, the shower slowly stopped and they were left looking at each other. Jin noticed something was wrong. Something was weighing on Ria's mind. Slow he offered his hand to her.

Jin: Do you want to come to bed with me Rias?

Rias looked at Jin, all thoughts now were pointless. Either way, she thought she was going to lose Jin. So he gently took his hand and smiled. If anything, she was going to enjoy the moments she had with him.

Rias: I'd love to.

Rias walked with Jin as they took their clothes, walking to a room in the Occult Research Club. It was a plain room, but the description of the room and even the bed wasn't important. In the moment that wasn't what mattered. Instead, it was the fact Jin got in first with his underwear back on, making room for Rias as she looked at him.

Rias: You don't mind if I sleep naked, do you?

Jin: You don't mind I keep my underwear on, do you?

Rias looked at Jin and smiled. Getting into bed as she laid down, outstretching her arms towards Jin who sat on the bed. Jin looked at her bare breasts, her pink nipples and her gentle smile. Crimson hair laid down on the bed softly.

Rias: I know you want to~.

Jin did. Rias knew exactly what position Jin wanted to sleep in. It was the position she wanted to sleep in too. Gently, Jin laid down on the bed, wrapping his arms around Rias' body. She wrapped her arms around the back of his head, slowly pulling him in under the hot covers. His whole world became dark as his face was embraced in her bosom. Her soft, warm bosom and despite showering with the same things. Rias still had a nice smell to her that made his whole body relax.

A natural, peaceful pheromone.

Rias: Jin, I... I really do love you. You know that right?

Rias said as her leg gently went over Jins. Pulling him in closer, only for him to pull the rest of the way. Their entire bodies pressed against each other in a relaxing and drifting moment. Jins face even deeper into her bosom, a pure comfort.

But then Jin had a question.

Jin: But... why do you love me?

Rias: Why?

Jin: Yes. I could tell you the reasons Aika, Mittelt and Sona love me. They've told me before and I could take good guesses. I could take good guesses for Akeno too. But for you... I haven't been able to do much for you. On top of that, you're not the only one I love. I... I would have thought people wouldn't want to date a man who isn't giving them 100% of their attention.

Rias looked down at Jin, and couldn't only smile. Gently stroking the back of his hair as he rested. She could feel his whole body relaxed and the fact he could feel so comfortable in her embrace made her happy.

Rias: Don't get it wrong. I'm not, nor will I ever be good at sharing. But for you, it's worth it. Of the myriad of reasons I love you, I could create a song. Songs, poems and haikus. Your kindness to me is something that makes me feel special despite your kindness to everyone. Your love for me is genuine, one that could only grow after spending time with me and getting to know me. Of all the ways you could have seen me, as a noble, as one of the most beautiful girls in school, you recognised me for my hard work. You acknowledged it and understood the struggle faced. You don't just understand it from an outside perspective, you can relate to it. You remember even the smallest details that can make me smile, the gentle touch and care you showed to my hair, knowing how important I find it. Those are only a very few of the qualities I love about you. I know you don't see yourself as perfect, but you are the perfect person for me. One I am happy to share because I know... I know you will continue to care for me.

Rias said the end with a sad voice. Something was wrong, he could feel that much, but as to what it was, he didn't know.

Jin: Even for all my faults, do you still love me?

Rias: Jin, do you love yourself?

Jin: I... I can't say I do.

Jin said thinking about it. He didn't have regrets, but that didn't mean he lived his life thinking of himself as great. Even without regrets, he still felt as if he wasn't enough.

Rias: Then I will love you enough for the both of us. Faults and all.

Rias gently kissed Jin's head as his body seemed to melt in her embrace. Even with his faults, Rias loved him. Even if she had to share, she had enough of Jin to still be happy. There was no replacement for Jin, so right now, she would take in Jin as much as possible. Remembering these moments forever.

Jin: Rias, I... I really hope I make you happy.

Jin said as he cuddled close to her. He didn't know what turmoil was going through her mind. But he hoped that him being here, that if he continued being here for her. He could alleviate whatever burden she felt.

Rias: You... You make me the happiest girl in the supernatural world. So sleep peacefully, before school, I've made us breakfast. Pancake mixture with bacon, eggs and maple syrup.

Rias could feel Jin against her, he was ecstatic. If it was food from Rias, it was bound to taste amazing. Rias could only giggle as she stroked the back of Jin's head. Wiping a tear from her eye.

Rias: Just... Just don't judge me for how much I made for the two of us.

Jin: I would never judge you. Besides, the more, the better.

Rias listened to Jins words, only hoping those words were remembered. That they applied later on.
