*Ding* *Dong*
A doorbell rang out on a brown wooden door to a corner of the street, the house looked traditionally Japanese. Footsteps were heard in the house at the door opened at the hands of a man in a red school teacher gym uniform, a man with a small yellow moustache and a bald head. Looking at Jin who stood in front of him.
It was Joshua. The martial arts teacher whose students attacked Hex and Jin. A teacher who was traumatised by Ban.
Joshua: {OH HELL NO!}
Joshua tried to slam the door shut out of fear. He remembered the last time he saw that kid, smacked against the wall by an old man with a force completely inhuman. He had the lesson not to mess with Jin ingrained into his mind and wanted nothing to do with him. But Jin's hand held the door open and he pushed it slowly open wide. Despite how much Joshua tried to close it.
Jin: So I was correct. That jump wasn't of normal human capabilities. Where did you learn to use magic like that?
Joshua opened his eyes wide as he had tried to close the door with all his force but it wouldn't work. Even using the magic he knew, he couldn't close the door. Shaking trying so hard compared to Jins still hand. Backing away as Jin opened the door walked into his house.
Joshua: I... I'LL CALL THE COPS! You... YOU'RE BREAKING IN AND ENTERING!
Jin: You assaulted an old man and your previous students bullied another old man. I'm a victim of your poor teaching and witness the assault. What does that emblem say? Kuoh Academy? I'm assuming they wouldn't be too fond to hear about your past, would they?
Joshua froze upon hearing the threat Jin said. Looking at his glaring crimson-red eyes and they were serious. He would ruin Joshua's life, digging up year-old problems that were never pursued by the police because they were never told. Ban preferred to handle issues by himself.
Joshua: W-What do you want?!
Jin: You used magic to enhance your body. The capabilities you've shown aren't human and your martial arts aren't impressive enough to give you that strength. I want to know how you used that magic, because human magic is fundamentally different from supernatural beings' magic such as Devils.
Joshua: D-Devils?! What the hell do you mean Devils?! Wait... are you going to kill me?!
Joshua said in a panic and scared manner, which slightly confused Jin. Joshua knew how to use magic, but didn't know of the supernatural world. But Jin didn't care about his lack of knowledge right now. He was here for one thing.
Jin: How did you learn magic? Remember killing you was your idea.
Jin stepped forward as Joshua shook. Looking at Jin step into his home with an overwhelming aura and a power he couldn't seem to match just like Ban.
Joshua: I... I... I READ IT ON A LONG-TAKEN-DOWN ONLINE FORUM! I-It said magic shouldn't have been secret and instead shared with the public to better mankind. At first, I thought it was fake and only tried it as a joke. But then... it worked and I got temporarily physically stronger with the magic I tried. There were so many spells but I was only interested in the one that made me stronger. P-Please don't kill me.
Joshua cowered in fear for his life. Looking at Jin's crimson red eyes looking down into his terrified eyes. Jin was unfazed by Joshua's pleas.
Jin: {It was taken down. It makes sense it was taken down when magic isn't supposed to be public information. An organisation likely controls information related to magic. But leaks of information are bound to happen.} Do you know anyone else with magic?
Joshua: I... I shared the forum before it got taken down with some of my friends. Some are martial artists who run dojos, others are making a killing doing magic shows and others do small tricks in restaurants.
Joshua said and Jin knew he wasn't lying. Joshua was shaking too scared to lie when he thought he was faced with death.
Jin: Write down the address of the dojos, their names, where the ones who perform shows live and do it quickly.
Quickly Joshua scurried like a rat as he searched for a paper and pen. He was quick to rat out these so-called friends. Writing down their names, addresses, and places of work. He gave up so quickly that it looked pathetic to Jin. Looking at the man shake as he handed a piece of paper with their information on.
Jin: Lastly, your magic. Give me the contents or write it down.
Joshua: But I...
Jin just expressionlessly stared at Joshua as he shook. Gulping as he stood up and walked back into the house. When he first saw the post. It was the longest and most detailed one he had ever seen. When he first copied the magic, he copied just the magic circle. But with it, after confirming that it worked, he copied ever detail related to the magic circle written and pictured. Creating a small manual of a few pages. Passing it to Jin he grabbed it, but Joshua didn't let it go.
Joshua: You... please don't take this away from me.
Jin: Maybe next time, you should have taken responsibility for your students instead of being full of your strength and attacking Ban.
Jin took it out of his hands, taking the thin paper manual and leaving. Joshua looked at Jin leave as he could only do that.
Watching as Jin took away his magic. A magic he was likely to forget about and never be able to use again.
