Jin held Yasakas shoulders as he looked at her with a panicked look. A look of worry as Yasaka could feel Jin using a healing Senjutsu on her. Everyone looked a bit confused at what Jin was doing. The surprise was a bit different from what they imagined.

Yasaka: I'm okay Jin, but why are you so worried?

Jin: You said you would die if you weren't in Kyoto!

Jin said in a panic as he could feel Yasakas energy, very slowly weakening unlike before when she was in Kyoto. After hearing the story of his own mother, he thought she was dying. At Jin's words, everyone looked at Yasaka in shock, but not Aika. She could only sigh and as Kunou let out a childish giggle, with it she brought some ease to the room.

Yasaka: It's okay Jin, it's not something instant. I just can't stay away long. Getting to celebrate a birthday I hear you haven't been celebrating after you left, is a great use of the limited time I have away from Kyoto.

Yasaka smiled as she gently caressed Jin's cheek with her soft caring hand. Giving him a small kiss on his other cheek, leaving the kiss with a soft smile and even softer spoken words.

Yasaka: Happy Birthday, Jin~.

At Yasakas words, many people awed, mainly all of the females who melted knowing the last birthday Jin ever had, was alone with Yasaka. Jin could still remember those birthdays. The small cake Yasaka would make for him. One they would share. He could remember the smell of the candles he blew out, he could remember the taste of every cake Yasaka ever made, all different since that was the only thing she could change about the birthday. He remembered the rapid kisses on his cheek from Yasaka. Relaxing in her arms and falling asleep.

They weren't big birthdays, he never had other people around because he didn't have friends. But they were no less amazing. Even more impressive to him now he knew how busy she was. Making her even more perfect in his eyes.

Yasaka wasn't his birth mother and Jin didn't see her as a mother. He couldn't because of the feelings he held for her, but she was the closest thing to a mother.

Akeno & Rias: Happy Birthday Jin~.

Akeno and Rias both came up to Jin and gently kissed him on the cheek. Their lips were on each of his cheeks as Yasaka gave a small giggle, making Jin blush red. Which then made Rias and Akeno giggle. It seemed everyone liked how adorable Jin could be despite him being taller than everyone. Akeno and Rias had to tippy toe to kiss him on the cheek, holding his shoulders to balance since he wasn't leaning down.

But as Jin thought, Aika didn't need time to prepare for her moments with him. He was a fool for thinking so. Aika would have jumped at the opportunity to have sex with Jin. What she was preparing was this. A surprise party for Jin. A party where all his closest friends and those he loved were around. Aika had known Jins birthday since they were kids, but she felt bad, Jin would always come to her birthdays with her parents. He always came to the family birthdays she had. He couldn't afford a gift but he never failed to visit. It was his way of being around people when Ban passed away.

Yet she could never throw him a birthday. This was what she was preparing for a full month. A day Yasaka could leave Urakyoto, a day everyone could visit.

So Jin turned around and walked over to Aika, looking down at her. Her glasses and golden eyes.

Aika: The presents should be...

Jin leaned down and gently engaged Aika in a soft kiss. Kunou was about to shout out how unfair that was, but Tsubaki held Kunou back and covered her mouth. The struggles of a small girl couldn't beat the hold of a swordwoman.

The kiss between Aika and Jin was gentle and long-lasting. It took Aikas heart away again as it was done in front of so many people without an ounce of hesitation. The kiss ended and Jin looked at Aikas blushed face, he wanted to smirk, but Jin could only smile softly.

Jin: I love you Aika. You may start to hear that a lot more often, but those words will never mean anything less.

Every time Jin said those words, it was him pouring his heart out. It was easy to say someone was beautiful, it was easy to reminisce about fond memories from the past and Jin often said breathtaking words without realising it. But saying "I love you" was the hardest thing ever, every time he was baring his heart out, meaning in the words stronger than any other.

For Aika, saying the words "I love you," held just as much weight. The words were of a lifetime commitment of her feelings to one person and one person only. Jin was that lifetime commitment. An eternal love to him.

Aika: I love you too.

Aika said giving Jin a hug. It was a hug reciprocated. A hug between the two where hearts combined. They listened to each other's gentle breaths. They felt each other's body heat. The world around them seemed to fade for both of them as they didn't let go. They could have instantly slept in each other's arms, even while standing up, completely comfortable with one another.

Yet they were snapped back to reality.

Koneko: Are you two just going to stand there? A whole table of sweet treats was made, and food too. I also want to get back to hugging Hinata and Taiki.

Yasaka: I've heard you've taken in two foxes as pets. I too wanted to meet them. {I've been sensing them upstairs. To think Jin would find two magical foxes and name them after his parents. But... That is like him.}

Yasaka thought as Jin was actually a really sentimental person. He had an attachment to the chess pieces of a long-departed friend. He maintained the dojo which still technically ran as a business even though he didn't have students. All in memory of Ban. Despite not knowing his parents, he named his foxes them. Jin liked to hold onto feelings of nostalgia and happiness, even if it held a bit of sadness in it.

Jin and Aika looked at each other, giving one more kiss to one another as they parted the hug. Jin looked at Tsubaki restraining Kunou, to which he opened his arms ready for the obsessive little sister she was. At the sign of preparation, Tsubaki let Kunou go and like a cheetah, Kunou charged and pounced on Jin.

Kunou: I miss you, big brother!

Kunou said with a big smile. Cuddling close to Jin because she knew that after today, she was moving in with Jin. She cuddled close to Jin and did not let go. Savouring the comfort of her big brother Jin.

Jin: It's only been a few months.

Kunou: Exactly! Doesn't that say how much I love you?! I can't even go a few minutes without wanting to see you!

Jin sighed with a smile. Holding Kunou close as he carried her. If she were to start going to school after the summer holidays, she was going to have to go at least a few hours without seeing him. Yet if her constant texting was anything to say, she really couldn't go without some form of contact longer than a couple of hours.

It was something they were going to need to work on. But that was for another time as Jin looked at everyone else. All of his friends, family and those he loved the most.

Jin: Well, let's continue the party upstairs.

Kunou: Let's go!

Everyone seemed happy about that as the main party was on the other floor. Everything was prepared quickly while Jin and Aika were out, but everything was planned by Aika beforehand. An entire month of planning.

All for Jin, someone she loved. Bore her heart out for. A reciprocated action of her love for Jin.
