Ch 70 - Another Devil Group

Jin wasn't just going to let a problem happen with Devils attacking Mittelt. So he took the initiative and met Sona in the hallway changing classrooms. Having her explain to other Devils what she clearly forgot. That Mittelt was of no threat to other Devils. That unless you attacked her, she wouldn't attack you. Quickly clearing up the mess that could have occurred if he just let the red head be.

But now he was in a different situation, one that wasn't as dangerous, but a lot more uncomfortable. Sat in what was known as the Occult Research Club, facing three people. Jin and Mittelt were seated on a sofa as they were looking at two seated on sofas opposite them with a coffee table repeating them. A boy standing behind them.

???: I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought she was infiltrating school grounds.

The long crimson haired girl said. She was in no arguable way a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body. She had pale white skin to match her blue eyes.

Jin: It's really no problem. If anyone should be apologising, it should be Sona for forgetting such a crucial detail. However, it's Mittelt you should be apologising to, if eyes could actually kill, I'm worried she might be dead.

Mittelt gave a small chuckle as the crimson haired turned to Mittelt with a smile.

???: I truly apologise for my ignorance. I hope you can forgive me.

Mittelt: I guess I could overlook it. You didn't act on your ignorance so I can only thank you for not attacking first.

Mittelt said as she promised she wasn't going to judge Devils first. Not the ones that were kind. The girl just made a mistake, that's all. Sitting up from her small bow as she looked back at them.

???: Now let me introduce myself. I'm Rias Gremory, seated next to me... *Sigh* Ahem! Akeno, stop looking at him like you're about to pounce on him.

Akeno: I wouldn't put it past me to do it~.

Akeno gave a small chuckle while looking at Jin. The target of her potential pouncing. Akeno was also a beautiful woman. One with a voluptuous figure more so than Rias. She had very long raven hair and violet eyes. Her hair was tied back in a very long ponytail, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place.

Jin: If you want to have a go at it I'm always up for the challenge.

Akeno: Oh~. How forward of you. Maybe I'll take you up on that offer.

Akeno said seductive biting at her nail. But Mittelt looked at Jin and couldn't help but try and hold in laughter. Knowing that Jin meant he was up for a fight instead of hiding any erotic innuendo in his words.

Rias: {I can't lie, he is very... well... hot. But Akeno come on! This was supposed to be a serious conversation!} *Sigh* Then behind me is Kiba, he's a first year.

Rias said as Kiba gave a small head nod, replied in kind to Jins head nod. Kiba was a handsome young man with short light blond hair and blue eyes. With a small mole underneath his left eye.

Rias: Now the reason I brought you here wasn't to just apologies. I can sense that Mittelt is a Fallen Angel, but you Jin, you're supernatural with a Sacred Gear. How did you come to acquire it? It should be impossible by any normal means.

Jin: It's because I was given it. The owner used a technique he knew to pass it down to me. So no, I didn't get it by any normal means. The owner was dying and passed it down to me because he believed I would need it.

Rias: I see. I'm sorry for your loss.

Jin gave a small nod as it was common for him to hear it now whenever he mentioned Bans death. Looking back at Rias and Akeno whose eyes ventured over his body. Looking at Jins figure as he had taken off the school jacket. Despite being his size, it was too restrictive. Only wearing the short sleeve shirt he had under and the trousers of the school uniform.

Rias: I'm sorry if you deem this inappropriate after mentioning the loss of someone close to you, but I would like to ask if you would be interested in joining my peerage.

Mittelt: I have no interest in becoming part Devil.

Jin: Neither do I. I thank you for your offer and while I have no doubt many would love to be tied to the peerage of a woman like you. I am happy with who I am, I'm happy with the power I have and the hard work I have to put into gaining more. I wish to continue being independent.

Rias looked at Jin with a slight rose on her cheeks. Understand what Jin meant by his words. But quickly she regained her calm demeanour.

Rias: It's a shame but I understand, if it's at all possible would you have any interest in working together in a mutual beneficial relationship.

Jin: {It's time Ban.} If you're talking about working as colleagues, I have no interest in that. But if it was for a friend or someone closer, I would be more than happy to aid you in any and all ways possible.

Jin gave a small elegant smile as Rias and Akeno both blushed crimson. Rias nearly blended in with her hair and Akeno nearly matched it. Again, mistaken by his words. Because what Jin meant by closer than friends, was close friends or best friends. Because apparently according to Aika, Mittelt and Sona were also her best friends, meaning someone could have multiple.

But Akeno and Rias didn't know that's what Jin meant.

Akeno: Well, how about we start off as friends and see how things work. Then I'm sure we can get a lot closer~.

Jin: I'd like that. {I'm pretty sure she didn't need to explain how making friends works but oh well.}

Jin then looked at Rias as she somehow blushed darker. Looking into Jins eyes which didn't have a single impure thought in them.

Rias: I... I... I would like to start off as friends too. {He asked us both at the same time! How bold is he?! But... I didn't hate it. Why didn't I dislike that he wants us both? He might even have more, but why don't I dislike that? I... I usually hate those types don't I? But... he didn't seem perverse or seductive in the way he said it. It was earnest, kind. As if he would take responsibility for me.}

Rias blushed darker yet again as she looked at Jin's smile. But Jin was smiling softly because he made more friends. Ignorant of just how good looking he was. Especially ignorant of how he spoke meant more to others than just what lied on the surface of his words. Causing Akeno to squirm as if she was about to pounce and for a soft smile to appear on Rias, with a small blush on her face after calming down a little bit. But Mittelt could only watch and smile.

Mittelt: {Aika was right. I should tell her about this, but for now we should just observe. I can't say right now if the number will be 5 or not.}

Mittelt said as she moved closer to Jin and hugged him. Knowing Aikas plan and even being apart of it. A plan that revolved around Jin and all of their lives.
