After letting Kunou calm down, Yasaka decided it would be better to take the conversation outside. To somewhere more suitable for the topic they were about to discuss. The topic of Jin's life and his past. What led to him becoming who he was now.

That's what led Jin to now be outside, walking with Yasaka and Kunou, side by side. He was given the chance to change before they went out, but he was surprised his martial arts clothes didn't burn like his Kimono did. But there was a reason for that. He wasn't just lucky his one-of-a-kind clothes didn't burn. He had gotten his clothes searching through Ban's draws when he was moving stuff. Ban was likely taller in his younger years as he found bigger clothing. The clothing Jin wore now. But Jin was much bigger as the tops were tight around Jin's frame. Making his build look more prominent.

However, the clothes weren't anything ordinary. Ban had clothes made by Kitsune, designed to be highly resistant to fire and a variety of external factors. It was likely who he learned Senjutsu and Youjutsu from. Another Kitsune.

However, there were some areas that needed sowing, getting scratched up by light blades. Then it also needed to be cleaned out. But at the end of it all, after a good clean, they were as good as new. Accompanied by a new loose white Kimono. One his size, given to him by Yasaka, specially made by Kitsune. Unlike his last one, it was much higher quality with the added benefit that it wouldn't burn.

Unless Jin planned to engulf his body in much hotter flames.

But as they walked around, Jin saw many different Youkai. Kitsune weren't the only type of Youkai. There were Youkai of all shapes and sizes, of all types. Jin was finding out a lot just walking down the street. The reason Yasaka was leaving home so often and so tired when she came back was because she was and is the leader of the West Youkai Faction, living in a place called Urakyoto, an alternate dimension created with magic for Youkai to inhabit.

It was Jins first time being here and despite having his fox ears and tails out often, it felt unusual to have them out in public. Though Jin, Kunou and Yasaka were walking further and further away from other residents of Urakyoto. Towards somewhere else away from so many people, with Kunou clinging onto Jin. He was practically dragging her the entire time.

Kunou: You must love me now! You're my big brother after all! Big brothers always love their little sisters!

Jin: How do you assume that works?

Kunou: All big brothers should love their little sisters! That's the universal rule! You should love and adore me!

Kunou said clinging onto Jin's side. She was smiling widely, but her logic couldn't be more twisted and wrong. Many people wouldn't be wrong to call it insane. But Yasaka seemed to giggle at it. Leading Jin to believe she was the cause of this. Telling Kunou all about Jin, she knew of Jin from a much younger age. She imagined Jin and slowly became obsessed. Because even in Kuoh, she could feel him. Like a distant lover.

Jin: First of all, we share no blood. Not even a single drop or microgram. Not only that, I wouldn't know if an older brother is supposed to love their little sister. I've never had one before. {Though the hentai I've read to make figures would support what she's saying. But I don't think I should use that as a source of information.}

Kunou: Come on! Please! Please please please let me be your little sister! I'm adorable, aren't I? I can cook, I can clean, I'm very knowledgeable about Japanese culture and practices! I'm not as annoying as I make myself out to be! Usually.

Kunou said pulling on Jins Kimono as she was practically begging to be his little sister. She always imagined having Jin as a big brother and as Jin looked down at Kunou, he could see he hurt her saying she wasn't his little sister. Because she had always seen him as a big brother. One that went away and would eventually come back. One she could have fun with and even love.

Jin: {*Sigh* This is definitely something Akeno, Aika and Mittelt will tease me over.} Fine, Kunou... You... *Sigh* You can be my little sister.

Kunou looked at Jin and lit up like the 4th of July. Hearing the words from Jin's mouth she always wanted to hear. She was now his little sister. She could only smile widely as she held closer to him. All the while Yasaka gently smiled seeing the two getting along. Right now, with Jin back, she couldn't have asked for more.

It was perfect. She had a happy family again and she loved it. She was happy Kunou was so happy.

But she knew Jin would have questions as they walked into a small graveyard. It wasn't anything big. There wasn't a large church or memorial. There weren't too many graves either. But what they did walk to were two specific graves. They stood in front of two plain tombstones, but ones with names. Hinata Sekai and Taiki Sekai.

Yasaka: Jin. These... these are your parents.

Yasaka looked at Jin as he looked down at the two graves. She looked at his face and it didn't seem to change. But that was expected. He didn't know what to feel. He never knew his parents. He didn't have a single memory of either of them. He had strange feelings in his heart. Ones of loss and love. As if somehow he was connected to them. But he knew the reason he didn't know them, he knew why he was being raised by Yasaka.

Both of Jin's parents were dead.

Kunou could only look up at Jin's face and have a sad one on hers. Hugging Jin's waist to try and cheer him up.

But again, Jin didn't know what to feel. The feelings he did have, it had been so long he couldn't properly connect with them yet. But something was there.

Jin: Yasaka, both you and Kunou don't have last names. Yet I know being a nine-tail is a family lineage. I'm just an outlier. So why do they have last names?

Yasaka: Despite both being Kitsune, your father was raised by humans. He was abandoned at his birth. Adopted. I don't know the exact details of his abandonment and I likely never will. But your mother found your father in Kyoto and introduced him to the supernatural, which he didn't realise he was at the time. He got his surname from his parents and she got her surname from him. When they got married.

Jin looked at the last name of his parents, Sekai. In Japanese, it meant "world" or "globe." It was a term that encompassed the entire planet and all that exists on it. Jin couldn't help but gently smile at the coincidence. He too just happened to be called the entire world by his last opponent.

Maybe it was fate. But Jin was slightly happy about his birth parent's last name. But there was another question he had. One he had thought about when he was young.

Jin: Was... Was I abandoned?

Yasaka: They would have never done that to you. Your father tragically died at the hands of a rouge Exorcist. Your mother... she... she died during childbirth.

Kunou hugged close to Jin as she knew this. Yasaka had told Kunou everything. Yasaka has gone so long with heavy burdens on her shoulders, that she couldn't stay silent about it. Kunou knew a lot because reminiscing about the good times with Jin was a way to cope and eventually Kunou got really interested in her big brother.

But Jin looked down at Kunou and gently smiled, rubbing her head gently with his large hand.

Jin: It's okay. I'm going to be okay Kunou. Yasaka, could you tell me everything? From the beginning.

Yasaka: Okay.

Yasaka said, but Jin didn't seem sad. Instead, he seemed happy. He didn't tell Yasaka, but for a while, he thought he was abandoned by his real parents. That they didn't want him. So to hear that they wanted him, no matter what happened to them in the end.

Jin was happy he was wanted. That he wasn't an accident or someone to be thrown away.

Jin may have not known his parents.

But if it was their name, he would be happy to carry it on.
