It was the next day and Jin was sat down, chess pieces on the board and playing by himself. He hadn't been here long as he had to shorten the amount of time he played chess to pursue other things. He also moved the time he played chess, just enough so he wouldn't be here long without one of two people coming. Of which Aika arrived first. Lifting her leg over Jin and sitting down on his lap. Pressing her chest against him in a grin and a hug.
Jin: What have I said being a perv sitting on my lap?
Aika: Don't. But I know you like it. {If you had your tails out they would be having a party right now you perv.}
Jin: Well, if you want to make a bad impression to your second supernatural sighting, go ahead. She's about to arrive.
Aika perked up as she looked around. The park was empty, except one girl walking over with a black bobbed hair cut. Quickly Aika span around and sat on Jins lap normally. Aika watched Jin move back all his pieces to the right spots on the board, all in line as Sona sat down and did the same.
Sona: Good afternoon Jin.
Jin: Good afternoon Sona, this here is my friend Aika.
Sona looked at Aika who seemed ecstatic just looking at her. Sona could tell she wasn't a Devil nor supernatural entity, but just human. Though she could see she did have quite a bit more than the average human in magical power. Her flow of it was also a sight to see.
Sona: Nice to mee...
Aika: ARE YOU A DEVIL, ANGEL, FALLEN ANGEL OR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!
Aika shouted out in excitement as Sona was surprised she even knew about it. It wasn't normal for humans to know about the supernatural.
Sona: Ohhh. Are you a mage?
Aika: I guess so! With all the magic Jin taught me, YEAH!
Sona: Wait. Jin taught you everything. So you're not from a mage family or association. Did... Did Jin also teach you about the supernatural?
Aika: Jin taught me everything I know! Even about the supernatural!
Sona looked at Jin who was still waiting for her to move the first piece. But Sona seemed too shocked to even lift her hand from the piece she was going to move.
Sona: You told her about the supernatural?!
Jin: Well... yeah. Why wouldn't I?
Sona: She's human and they're not supposed to know!
Jin: Well... to be fair. I didn't really know the rules of the supernatural world to begin with. I still don't know.
Sona looked at Jin confused as she looked at his eyes, looking at the piece in her hands as she moved it.
Sona: How do you not know the rules of the supernatural world?
Jin: I was raised as a human nearly my whole life. My power was sealed so that I didn't even know I had it.
Sona: So I'm the first supernatural being you've seen?
Jin: I'm guessing my first guardian was a supernatural being so she would be the first. My second guardian was no normal human. Then I've been killing Stray Devils for years so you would not be my first.
Sona looks at Jin as he seemed to know some basics about the supernatural world. But besides that, he didn't seem to know much.
Sona: Well then, let me properly introduce myself to you, both of you. I'm Sona Sitri, heir to the Sitri clan and I'm a Devil.
Aika squealed in Jin's lap as Sona gave a small giggle seeing her reaction. To Aika, the introduction was so much cooler than how Jin was revealed to her as a Kitsune.
Aika: Next year I was going to choose to go to Kuoh Academy, BUT NOW I'M DEFINITELY CHOOSING IT!
Sona smiled as she moved a chess piece, looking at Jin who focused on the game, with on arm holding Aika close. Both to stop her from moving too much, hitting the table and jolting the pieces, and moving weirdly on his lap.
Sona: So do you two go to school together?
Aika: School? Jin? Hahaha! No. He lives on his own and doesn't bother going to school. His academic level "far surpasses" what school would teach.
Sona looked in interest at Jin, looking at his tall lean, strong build. Looking at his energy which he kept hidden undercovers.
Sona: So what are you Jin?
Jin: Me? I'm a Kitsune. Though if you're wondering why I'm all the way out here, I ran away. It's where my second guardian found me as a child.
Sona: I'm sorry to hear that.
Jin: Don't be, my guardian Ban was a great guardian and I will never regret a thing. {I can now only miss the one I left}
Aika gave Jin a small hug as Sona realised what that must have meant. Jin was now living alone because Ban wasn't in this world anymore.
But as Sona began talking more, the conversation became more light-hearted, friendly and informative. Playing multiple chess games before Sona had to leave. They played 5 games. She won one. But unlike Hex did for Jin, he didn't let her leave savouring the moment. Promptly beating her 3 more times after beating him the second game.
Jin may have not expressed it, but he liked Sona. She seemed like a good person, and wasn't at all what he pictured Devils out to be.
She was also a good chess player, something Jin enjoyed about her.
