Ch 130 - Black Wings

Jin had been looking up at the roof of his small hotel room. Unable to sleep. Though it had only been an hour since he got back to the hotel to try. But he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep. He was alone in his room. He was always used to sleeping with someone or something. Holding them or it.

But he wouldn't be alone for long.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Jin sat up like a mummy coming out of their tomb. Looking at his door as he heard knocks at it, but as he used his Ki he saw who was on the other side. Confirming it wasn't a teacher. Getting out of bed he walked to the door in black shorts. Twisting the lock open and opening the wooden door to Akeno. She was wearing a white dressing gown of a thin material and underneath you could tell she was wearing black panties and a bra.

Jin: Ake...

Akeno: Jin, could I show you something?

Normally Jin would assume she was being erotic and wanted to show him her bare body or the underwear she had on. Something to tease him with. But Akenos' demeanour was all wrong. It was off. Serious. Much unlike her usual self. So Jin stepped to the side as Akeno looked at him. Giving a small nod as she walked into his room and heard the door shutting. Locking behind her.

Jin only watched as Akeno stood in the middle of his room. Dropping her dressing gown to reveal her amazing body. Turning around to look at Jin. No words were said as Jin knew this wasn't all there was. Akeno was being too serious to be teasing him or initiating something more intimate.

And Jin was right to only watch as two black wings appeared from Akenos back.  But it wasn't just the devil-like bat wings. On one side, she had normal devil wings. Their shape was large and pointy. Similar to a bat. But on the other side, there was something very different. Still black, but in raven feathers. Just like a Fallen Angels. But Jin wasn't surprised at all. Akeno saw that Jin wasn't surprised and gently smiled.

Akeno: You... You knew the entire time, didn't you?

Jin: I could tell. Ki between different species are different. You have one like Rias, that of a Devil, but also like Mittelt, one of a Fallen Angel. But given Devil and Fallen Angel history, I can only assume you're a Fallen Angel-human hybrid that Rias reincarnated.

Jin knew the history between the Fallen Angels and Devils was a rough one. She was unlikely to be a direct Hybrid of the two. The only reason Mittelt wasn't treated with suspicion was because Sona could vouch for her. Because Jin could vouch for her. It was obvious the two species didn't have a great history as the first time Rias saw Mittelt, she glared at her with dagger-like eyes.

Akeno: You could have just told me you were peeking~. I would have shown you a lot more if you were that interested~.

Akeno said trying to get the mood to a happier level. But Jin knew this was something serious. Akeno was trying to make light of something serious. Jin knew she wouldn't have just come in here to show him her wings. Not if she already had suspicions that Jin already knew. Jin didn't want to take such a topic lightly if this was serious to Akeno. He didn't want to make her feel as if she had to be the life of the room. Jin's expression said it all as Akenos smile faded, sitting down on Jin's matted bed, she patted him next to her.

Jin slowly moved over to Akeno as he sat down on his knees the same way that Akeno did. They both came from similar backgrounds but not the same.

Akeno: Jin, you told me of your past and I... I felt like I shouldn't have heard that without telling you my past. I'm not trying to compare our pasts in any way! It's just... you've been so open to us with everything. About your guardian, about your life and what happened in it. I... I don't want to hide my past from you. Not when I want us to get close to each other.
