Ch 132 - False Angels (1)

Jin had stayed with Kunou the entire night while she peacefully slept. Doing nothing but watching the city of Kyoto with her on his lap. It was a nice way to pass the time instead of staring at a roof all night. Stroking her soft fur and hearing her small, gentle breaths was nine. It wasn't just peaceful for her but for Jin too. Despite how energetic Kunou was, being with her had its peaceful moments too. The moon fell as the sun slowly came up and with that Kunou also slowly awoke. Awaking with a loud yawn.

But to say she had a peaceful wake-up wasn't what Jin would say. As she looked at Jin in happiness and surprise. Saying how much he must have loved her to stay with her the entire night. In each other's embrace like "lovers." She was very annoying to Jin. Maybe it was because he had a bad experience with children besides Aika. But Kunous happy mood was infectious, putting Jin in a good mood this morning.

She didn't want to go back home and instead wanted to stay with Jin. So he took her into the hotel and so he didn't get charged with anything criminal, threw her in Rias, Mittelt and Akeno's room. All so he could peacefully shower and change.

But when it was all said and done, Jin, Rias, Akeno, Mittelt, Kunou, Sona and the rest of her peerage were outside the hotel. All ready to go to an amazing breakfast place Kunou was going to take them to. However, Rias and Akeno were more interested in their cute, small and adorable tour guide. Even Mittelt was warming up to her. Kunou and her infectious happiness.

Jin: So was the escape room hard?

Jin asked looking at Sona who gave a small smile. The escape room was the whole reason he didn't spend most of the day with her, unlike Rias, Akeno and Mittelt. Though that smile said everything.

It was easy.

Sona: Though don't get me wrong, the theme of criminal investigation was nice. For it to be based on an actual historical criminal case was a little cherry on top. Can't say it was hard, but it was enjoyable.

Sona said pushing up her glances in a smirk as the rest of her peerage sighed because when she quickly escaped, she forced them all to take another escape room together. All while she watched for hours until they solved it. Watching like a mad genius laughing into speakers hidden in the escape room. A form of punishment for thinking something so easy could hold her.

Jin: I guess I'll have to try an escape room then. Maybe you and I can head there when we're finished? Try a different escape room together.

Sona: I'd love to. Maybe I can even make another punishment of it for my peerage. You can watch too.

Sona said looking back at her peerage, who all hung their heads in a sigh. It wasn't that they weren't smart, it was just that the escape room was extremely hard. For normal people at least. For Jin and Sona, it would be an easy, enjoyable way to pass the time.

Sona: So do you want to do a... Jin?

Sona looked back around to where Jin was walking beside her. But he was gone. Sona looked around her, with Rias, Akeno, Mittelt and Kunou. But he wasn't there either and they were all too busy having fun to notice.

Jin had vanished.

Scene change

In the sky, the light, vast blue sky. One with plenty of white clouds in it. Clouds like puffy smoke or marshmallows. Something that wasn't supposed to be in the sky, was. In a puff, it continued falling from the sky. Falling out of a cloud, straight to the ground head first.

Jin: I... How did I get here?

Jin said as he fell from the sky unable to understand how he got so high. But he did sense magic. It was just so bright and beautiful today, the sun outshined the magic circle that teleported him so high. High that the buildings, shrines and towers below looked small. The size of ants in perspective.

But Jin felt another strong energy as he formed dense energy under his feet. Spinning around fast as he jumped in a flip backwards. Watching 4 short lasers of light shoot past where he was. Quickly Jin used Senjutsu as a blue glow emanated from his hands. In the Fist of Flowing Water; Crushing Rock style Jin struck 4 more bullets of light. But they weren't bullets as they broke on Jin's hand. They were shots of a superheated substance and light power. They were strong, comparable to Mittelts dense Light Power spear. As they broke on Ji's hands, they shattered into sparks that emanated a blazing heat.

Light power mixed with near plasma sliver. Able to kill nearly any dark or demonic entity.

But Jin didn't have much time to think as 4 people appeared in front of him. 4 men with wings of pure golden light. Dressed in clerical clothing of white and grey. All holding blades of light. A solid golden blade of light came from a metallic white hilt. They all struck Jin as he avoided them and went to strike the blades at full power.

But something happened that had never happened before.

Their blades were terrifyingly strong as they cut through the blue aura around his hand. Cutting through his hand with an immense burning sensation.

The only reason Jin's entire arm wasn't split in half was that he jumped far back. Standing in the air holding his wrist. Watching his hand muscles, tissue and bone reconnect. His bones connect back after being cut through and the skin formed. But not leaving so much as a scar on his hand. Not even the smallest nick. As if the wound completely vanished.

Jin: {Missing limbs regrow over a month. So my Scared Gears faster healing from tissue I already have instead of regrowing entirely new limbs.}

Jin let go of his hand as he ignored the slight sting from the light power. He knew he wasn't going to have adapted instantly from one of those attacks. Not at the strength it was at. He was likely going to get chopped into pieces if he tried to take the light blades physically again. He needed time to adapt, time he may have not had.

Jin was yet again left looking at his attacker. With 4 attackers looking back at him. Then a much stronger-looking man descended from the sky. All of them looked at Jin with smiles on their face. Confident after hurting him so badly, so quickly.

???: This is going to be easy.

The man behind the other 4 men said as he looked at Jin. Jin was now on extreme guard after their first surprise attack against him. But it let them know their weapons were going to hurt him.

Jin: Who are you to think this is going to be easy for you?

Jin asked, seeing it again. Confronted by a group that wanted to hurt him. But Jin had learned, he wasn't afraid to kill others.

Killing them wouldn't be an accident.
