Jin had avoided Aika and Sona and went straight to school. Going only to his classes so he didn't see them at all. He wasn't just annoyed about his hard work being trampled on, he was thinking back and in deep thought about everything that was happening around him. He didn't know what to make of it. Everything around him and that had been happening to him made no sense and it was confusing.

So while he was in class he looked at Mittet who was listening into class, Akeno too was also listening to class. But then Jin looked at Rias, who looked very bored in their business studies class. Slowly leaning over and covering his mouth slightly towards Rias. Whispering to her.

Jin: Pssst. Rias.

Rias looked at Jin as she looked at the teacher who was too busy to look back at the class. Too busy reading off of a book and trying to get the new projector working. Rias copied Jin as she too whispered to him.

Rias: Yeah?

Jin: Do you want to have lunch with me? On the school roof?

Rias: Lunch... with you?

Jin: Do you not want to?

Rias blushed as she shook her head. She very much wanted lunch with Jin, going back to her whisper position.

Rias: I would like to have lunch with you. But why on the roof?

Jin: Just to get away from everyone. It should be quieter up there. I'll grab something from the school canteen and I'll meet you up there.

Rias: Do... I mean would you like to share my bento? I didn't make it for two but I don't normally finish it.

Jin: It's fine, I'll...

Rias: I'm not really asking. I won't finish the amount of meat in there and I need you to help.

Rias said looking at Jin as she always made too much for herself. Every day she would tell herself to make less, but she never did. She was just trying to put a dent in the large amount of leftovers she had stored in her fridge.

Jin: Have... have you seen Aika today?

Rias: I haven't spoken to her for a few days. Why?

Jin looked at Rias and smiled slightly. Because the more he thought about what was happening in his life, the more he was coming to realise what was happening in it.

Jin: I would love to help you. I'll see you at lunch then.

Jin winked as he sat up straight, just in time for the projector to turn on and the teacher that turned around not realising Rias and Jin were talking in class, arranging lunch together.

On the school roof away from everyone else.

Scene change

Jin and Rias were both on the roof of the school. There wasn't a single way to get up there normally, but both had their ways of discreetly getting up there. Whether it was using wings or jumping up really high, both Rias and Jin made it to the roof. Sat side by side as Rias had her red bento box on her lap.

Rias: Now don't judge me when I open this. I work out a lot to maintain this physique.

Jin: I can tell.

Rias blushed as she looked at Jin's soft smile. To him, it was obvious what types of workouts people did at a glance. You could tell by their appearance and build. Rias in particular given her toned body and her legs, did body workouts, the most basic in an endurance style training routine, with cardio, and running besides her club activities.

But as Rias looked at her box, she felt a lot better while opening it. She usually ate in the Occult Research Club room and it was nice to be eating outside of a change, with Jin. Opening the box as it was shown that she did make a lot, the squashed down food rose from the edge of the bento as it was so squashed down. A lot of BBQ pulled pork and rice.

Jin: Woah.

Rias: I-I usually don't eat all of it. I think I just put more in to be better safe than sorry.

Jin: No no. I'm not one to judge the amount of food anyone eats with the amount I do. I'm just amazed by the food, the pork looks like it falling apart and the sauce smells delicious.

Rias looked at Jin as she got a fork from one compartment of her bento. Getting some food on the fork and holding it up to Jin. As he bit onto the fork to eat the food, making a face that showed how delicious it was as Rias gave a small crack of a laugh.

But as Jin looked at Rias and her laugh, Jin slowly lost his smile.

Jin: Rias, do you like me?

Rias: W-W-What?!

Jin: Do you like me Rias? As more than a friend or best friend.

Rias: I-I-I've only known you a bit!

Rias said as Jin looked at her, because she didn't say yes or no yet. For everyone, it was always a question they didn't let him finish or they didn't answer. Even Mittelt didn't answer that question, despite being on his side.

But Rias was going to answer it.

Rias: I... I do. But I don't know if it's a crush or if I... If I really really like you. I haven't had the chance to find out yet.

Jin looked at Rias and her crimson blush. Gently smiling as he looked in front of him, looking at the blue sky and white puffy clouds.

Jin: Thank you Rias.

Rias: What? Why are you thanking me?

Jin: Because you let me ask you that question and you answered it. Right now I don't know who's my friend and who's not. Because those who I thought were my friends trampled on my hard work and have been manipulating me. If I think about it I believe they're using me for their own personal gain. All without taking my feelings and work into consideration.

Rias looked at Jin as she noticed his subtle hurt expression. Rias placed down her fork as she too looked at the blue sky, looking at the clouds of various shapes as she took a deep breath.

Rias: Jin, do... do you know why I came to the human world?

Jin: I don't.

Rias: I came to the human world because in the Underworld I was always, Rias Gremory. Heir to the Gremory family. In the underworld, no matter how hard I worked or what I did, it was because I was a noble-class devil. The Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess. Born with great ability. Everything and anything I did was because of the family I was born in. Not because of how hard I worked or studied. But here in the human world, I am just Rias Gremory. I work hard, study hard, play hard. I own my accomplishments. They're all my own and I worked hard for them. But as soon as I go back to the Underworld, everything I achieved here will only be because I am of a noble lineage. I know what it feels like to have your hard work taken away from you or treated like it's nothing. So I'm sorry for whatever's happening to you. But... I promise I won't use you. Your feelings will always be in my mind.

Rias said leaning on Jin as he looked at the sky, glancing down at Rias who lent on his shoulder

Jin: Do... Do you want to find out if what you feel is only a crush or something more?

Jin said as he could see Rias and her blush. Only to feel her gentle nod as she raised herself. Placing her Bento box down and looking at Jin. Jin looked at Rias as he looked at her lips and back at her eyes. She was blushing and Jin could hear her heart beating fast. Slowly leaning over their lips gently met as a feeling of electricity sparked in Rias. As the kiss was slow and deep. With Jin parting the kiss and looking at Rias. Looking into her blue eyes.

Jin: How do you feel about me now?

Rias: I... I really like you Jin. But... I think you're going to need to give me a better reason why~. {I'm going to need to tell him at some point. But... But not now. I... I just want to live in the moment with you Jin.}

Jin: Then I'll take responsibility for your feelings, and return them in kind.

Jin said as he leaned over, kissing Rias as their kiss was deep and passionate. Slowly Rias laid down as Jin got on top of her. Kissing her passionately as his hand started on her waist and one near her head. With one of his hands making it to second base.

Making out during lunch.
