Normality. That was what Jin had for just one week after Ophis left. It was as normal as it could possibly be. It had been getting a lot more erotic in the mornings, but they were close to normal, or erotic was becoming the new normal. He had been thinking a lot more about the teachings Azazel gave him and he was hanging out with Rias and Akeno more. Lastly, he got Koneko back. Under that tree peacefully resting with her and listening to her worries. Sometimes she would bring homework and Jin would help her. He wasn't hiding who he was anymore and they were getting closer.

But she was serious, she wasn't smiling or giggling around him. She held it back. She needed to know that Jin truly cared for her. Not just in the peaceful moment, but at her worst. Until then, affection was shown, but she didn't smile or giggle anymore.

However, Jin knew how this song and dance went. Things started out as normal and then he would be thrown a curve ball. Normality could only last a week. Because when the next weekend came. There was a knocking at his door.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Mittelt and Aika were in the main room working on their homework on the table. All the while Jin got up and walked downstairs to see who it was. Walking to his open door and looking down at two people. A man and a female. Arm in arm. They dressed in noble black clothing as if they were from nobility. They had black hair and while the woman had violet eyes, the male had blue.

Their appearance reminded Jin of two people. Two devil siblings.

Jin: Hello?

???: Is your name Jin and are you affiliated with our daughter Sona?

The man said as he was much shorter than Jin's tall stature. The man seemed to look up at Jin, looking in amazement at Jin's height, physique and the power he emanated. As well as the Sacred Gear inside of Jin.

Jin: Oh. You're Sona's parents. Mr and Mrs Sitri. Is Sona okay? She hasn't been in school for a while.

Mrs Sitri: And I believe you know why.

Jin: It was not my intention to harm Sona in any way. I'm sorr...

Mr Sitri: Oh no no. Actually, we'd like to apologize for our daughter's behaviour. What she was going to do wasn't right. Sometimes she forgets about the basic things. The hard work of a working man is something that should have never been trampled on.

Mr Sitri said as she knew of the people who worked hard. He wasn't like the powerful Satans of the underworld or even other noble clans. He worked hard for his power. The people in his peerage worked hard for their positions. The staff in their manor worked hard. Mr Sitir acknowledged all the hard-working people around him. Even his daughter.

Mrs Sitri: She displayed much fondness for you and it was horrible to hear that she was the one jeopardising a relationship when for the first time, she really wanted to be in one. Our daughter Serafall also had a positive view of you so we knew you would be good for our daughter. That's why we grounded her because of her actions against you.

Jin looked at Mrs Sitri who had long black hair. The proportions of her body were similar to Sona's besides the slightly larger chest. But the reason why they were here still alluded Jin. Because it didn't sound like they just came here to deliver an apology. Sona already gave an apology, but she also said she would make it right with Jin. Something that he was still waiting for.

Jin: I assume you didn't come all the way here to apologise on her behalf. Of which she's already given an apology so it's really no problem.

Mr Sitri: You are correct. We are here because Sona is making this right. We've come to hire The Artisan.

Mr Sitri said and Jin could only look at Mr and Mrs Sitri. Taking a deep breath. If this was her making it right, he was disappointed.

Jin: {Does she really think using her nobility again is going to fix this? Using connections to get me a job?} I'm sorry. I cannot help you.

Mrs Sitri: You misunderstand. She's really making this right. You see as a Clan, you could say nobility. The Sitri clan have a variety of businesses and organisations that give us our financial power. Right now the Sitri Clan are developing new medical facilities and hotels. Of course, in these facilities, we will have sculptures. From large statues in front of our hotels to small ones lining the road to our medical facilities.

Mr Sitri: Sona participated in meetings and several selection processes, that's only mentioning one of the many jobs she got you. But in all of them, she was singing your praise and providing nothing but good reviews on your work. Reviews of not only the human world but some supernatural customers you have. She made a whole presentation which stood above many of the other candidates trying to take the job. For each job, she sang different praises and had different presentations. The images we saw of your work were also of immaculate detail. While your work is on a much smaller scale, Sona was confident in your ability. So we're hiring you.

Jin looked at Mr and Mrs Sitri in confusion. He was a small-scale figure maker. He had made many of the years and with his Senjutsu you couldn't really call him small-scale anymore. But statues and figures were completely different. Statues of medium-large or even small scale were unexplored territory. The disparity between the two types of production was vast. Different materials, different finishing techniques, different carving tools. The two were nothing alike.

Jin: I think you are overlooking the fact I make figures. Not statues. I could talk for hours about the difference between the two.

Mr Sitri: We know. But our daughter seems confident in you. The type of confidence we've never seen from her before. Your quality is too perfect to at least not try out and if your quality is acceptable, hiring you to do all the jobs is a lot cheaper.

Jin: How much cheaper?

Jin asked. He sold his high-quality figures at market price nowadays, but that was only because his quality was far above market standard. In the end, he was the most popular figure maker. High quality at a relatively cheap price. He didn't want to get scammed out of money, especially in the new territory of making sculptures.

Mrs Sitri: Enough to buy all the houses around here.

Mr Sitri: Enough to turn it into a nice place where many can stay. It won't be nearly as tall or have as many basements. Nearly nothing will be state-of-the-art, but your hard work will have garnered you great benefits and I'm sure if you do well, others on Earth and in the Underworld will be looking for The Artisan for his skill.

Jin looked at Mr and Mrs Sitri as he took a deep breath. But he couldn't help but smile slightly. It was a lot more than Jin ever thought Sona would do. Maybe she had too much confidence in him, getting him jobs outside of his current skills. But he couldn't help by be happy that Sona held him in such high regard.

He couldn't help but be happy she knew how hard he worked and that if he was to live with lots of big people in a big house, it was going to be in a place he earned. A place he worked hard for.

Jin: {Sona. You made it right.} I'll take the jobs.

Jin said, already having an idea of how to make Statues. He just needed to test it. He needed to improve and develop new skills. But that was never something he had difficulty doing.

Mrs Sitri: Great! You wouldn't mind taking time off school to get the job done, would you?

Jin: If it requires it I will do so.

Mr Sitri: We'll pick you up tomorrow then. The contracts will be signed and you can get straight to work.

Mr Sitri said as a blue magic circle enveloped both Mr and Mrs Sitri, disappearing from Jin's front door. Leaving Jin to quickly prepare and test his idea out. Something that if it worked, would expand his business into a much larger and more expensive territory.

Leaving the name "The Artisan" forever remembered.
