Ch 175 - Start Of A Summer

School was surprisingly normal. Despite the fact that summer was increasingly coming near, days went by and lessons didn't change, yet there was one change. You could feel it in the atmosphere. People were ready for the school term to end and for summer to ensue. Like atoms, they vibrated full of energy, excited for any summer plans they had. Maybe they would be going abroad, maybe they were visiting family or this was their time to relax. Some likely had empty days of relaxation, others had full days of fun. Jins summers were latter side. His summers would be pretty full.

But what was busier were the days leading up to summer.

Jin ran a business and he was unlikely to keep up with his commission not only because of Aikas week but also because he was going to the Underworld during the summer break. So he put in a notice, a break. He wasn't going to be working during summer because he knew just going to the underworld would mean he was going to be busy. Yet he couldn't simply just stop his operations.

Jin only had a few days, but he had to finish all previous commissions already put in. He had to finish up all current figures and send them away. Creating them from clay, painting them, finishing them and sending them away in their little or big packed boxes. He couldn't rush them so he had to "enjoy" tireless nights making them.

But as the school term finally ended, everyone left for their holidays. Yet Jin, while everyone had finished their work weeks ago, had only just finished his. At home, on the last day, just in the nick of time for summer, he was done.

Jin: Finally.

Jin said in exhaustion as he slumped back into his chair. His black chair leaned back with him, looking up at the roof and looking at Aika leaning over him with a smile. The last boxes were packaged and packed full of packing peanuts. Ready to be sent out to their commissioners.

Aika: So are you ready for our home date~?

Aika asked as it was just her and Jin for an entire week. Without Jin, she had arranged everything so it wouldn't be inconvenient for anyone. She told him all about it, how Sona had already gone back to the Underworld to get ready and prepare to have everyone around. Including two divine foxes. Mittelt was with Akeno and would be living at the shrine for a while, though it was more than welcome as Mittelt was teaching Akeno to use her feathers better, Akeno teaching Mittelt how to utilize her magic better.

The divine foxes Hinata and Taiki, were taken by Koneko. Who decided to stay with Kiba so she could go with Jin to the Underworld together.

So really Kiba was taking care of not only the divine foxes but Koneko too.

Aika was completely ready for her week with Jin. Completely ready for the events and activities she planned.

Jin: Sure. Sorry, for the work, I just needed to finish these so I know I can send them away after the week is over. So, what do you have planned~.

Jin asked as he span around on the chair and looked at Aika in her school uniform. They had just come back from school and Jin spent the last time he had to finish his work. They were both in their school uniforms. Though despite heading straight to work after getting back from school, he was interested in what Aika had planned for the entire week.

Aika: Well, I was thinking that for today we could have an Onsen date. Sit in the steam room, relax and talk. Something casual and relaxing. Then a small dinner date in the theatre room. I'll cook of course. Does that sound nice?

Aika asked as she looked Jin in the eyes and saw a look she loved. Admiration, love. Aika knew Jin well. Because as hardworking as he became. He was at his very core, someone who just liked to relax. Aika was giving him a chance to really relax and destress. Unwind and completely relax.

All before eventful days ahead.

Jin: You... I love you so much.

Aika: I can tell.

Aika giggled as the look in Jin's eyes was of love. She held her hand out and he slowly took it. He was pulled out of the chain to enjoy today. Today's date would be relaxing for the both of them and all they had to do was be in the moment to enjoy it. From the basement Jin and Aika were currently in, they Walked downstairs together to their Onsen. Something that was on the lowest basement, the floor split between an Onsen and an entertainment room with the theatre in another room.

On the Onsen side, the steam room inside the Onsen was a compact, tranquil space lined with dark, polished stone that radiated warmth. It fit with the Japanese Onsen around it and as steam filled the room, infused with the scent of lavender and forest scents. The steam created a thick, mist.

Both Jin and Aika showered off and wrapped themselves in white towels. Wrapping them around their bare waists. When they were done they entered the steam room together, they felt their bodies hit with a strong moist heat. They sat down on a stone bench, taking a deep, gentle breath. Then a deep breath out as they allowed the heat to sink deep into their body.

Relaxing in the steam room was the very start of their date. A relaxing and intimate date.

Aika: {Jin, you're going to learn everything about me today, I'll teach you something you'll never forget. Then tomorrow, I'm sure you'll enjoy the surprise I have for you.}

Aika smiled as she relaxed close to Jin. Smiling even more as she saw he was completely relaxed.

Harems were great. Jin loved all the women in his and he wouldn't change a thing.

But they were extremely stressful.
