Closer and closer, the end of school was getting near. A month. No, a few weeks away. Yet Jin was only getting more and more busy. He couldn't imagine how busy he was going to be in his third year. Aika was still waiting for something, preparing for their first time together with Jin. Mittelt was training hard, improving her control over magic and refining her mastery of her Raven Inscription style. Sona was now consulting Jin about the problems she had in the underworld. He was running a business on top of that. Quite a popular business as more than ever, he was receiving requests for figures, even requests from statutes. Both human and underworld, in which he hired the Sitri clan to be third party delivers to more human clients. Not able to teleport the statue directly to its desired location.
But even then, Jin still had more to do. He was preparing a room from Kunou, Koneko. He was training his martial arts and training his Fox Fire. Rias was being closer than ever. She even walked with Jin to school, which also involved Akeno coming along. It was as if everyone wanted to suddenly cling to Jin.
But it wasn't unwanted.
However, even still in his second year, things were getting busier. As Jin was giving a gentle rub to Mittelts shoulders, eating dinner with Sona, Jin suddenly jumped hearing a loud ringing.
Jin: What's that?!
Sona: The doorbell?
Sona said in confusion looking at Jin's reaction. As if he had never heard a doorbell go off before. But it was the very opposite, he knew this sound all too well.
Jin: {WE STILL HAVE THAT?! I couldn't find where the ringing came from before! Where is it now?!}
Jin looked around as it was as if the doorbell that shocked Jin all those years ago was ringing right into his ear. Mittelt only turned around and gently patted Jin on the head, rubbing his head as the doorbell that rarely sounded, went and frightened Jin. Like a dog scared of fireworks or a vacuum. All the while Sona went to check on the door.
Mittelt: {My Jins so cute! I didn't even know he could get so adorably frightened! Awwww! It's going to be okay my adorable doggy~!}
Mittelt smiled as she snuggled into Jin, helping him to relax. Her hugging close to him did help him relax a bit. But it wasn't just the doorbell that frightened him. The last time he heard that sound, it was when pieces most important to Jin were delivered to him. Pieces he still plays with to this day. To that sound, he received a letter of his dear friend's death.
But the sound wasn't signalling the loss of someone, but instead, bringing someone new to his door.
Sona: Jin! Someone's at the door for you!
Jin: {A person? Not a delivery?}
Jin thought as Mittelt got off his lap and let Jin walk downstairs, down the stairs and through the dojo walking to the front door where Sona stood, Mittelt beside him. With Aika currently home with her parents. However, Sona, Mittelt and Jin were all looking at the woman who rang the doorbell.
Jin: {Woah.}
Jin thought looking at the woman. A woman with an otherworldly appearance. One human, but very beautiful. She had a captivating figure and her energy exuded something divine. Her face was delicate with perfectly symmetrical features. Her skin was pale, almost luminous to the lights in the dojo. It was visibly soft, with a flawless complexion. Much like a smooth porcelain, her beautiful skin enhanced her otherworldly beauty.
The woman's eyes were striking. They were large and almond-shaped, with irises that shimmed gold. Her was penetrating, yet they made not only Jin, but Sona and Mittelt feel warm inside. Everyone looking at her full lips coloured a soft shade of red.
