Kyoto wasn't going to be a trip that would last forever and Jin would have to leave eventually. That was an inevitable fact and one that eventually happened. Today Jin would be leaving. But Rias was right, Jin would look back at this trip with a smile. It was fun, he reunited with loved ones, if you take out the nearly-dying part, he made two new techniques. On top of that, he was expanding his business. Making two statues within the court grounds of Urakyoto's large, traditional, noble residence.
The statues were made of stone, two large statutes as tall as the residence itself. Nine-tailed Kitsune were the noble lineage of the West Youkai Faction. So two nine-tailed Kitsune were made. Both faced each other parallel to one another. Both had the same nine tails and fox ears. Both wore traditional shrine-keeper attire. But one was distinctly a male, one was distinctly female. Without distinctive features but of the right body shape. The body shape of Yasaka, and Jin. Though he shrank his height so the statues matched up.
It was Jin's permanent mark on the West Youkai Faction, Urakyoto. For as long as the statutes survived, The Artisan would be remembered, Jin.
Jins bags were packed and everyone was at the hotel ready to leave as a year group. The teachers were probably organising people and getting ready to leave for the train station. But Jin wouldn't know. He wasn't there. He was with Kunou who said goodbye to everyone else a while ago, and Yasaka. Seated in a room all together. Jin was in his new white Kimono with many others stuffed in his very full bag. A bag that sat beside him where he was kneeling. Kneeling opposite Yasaka and Kunou.
Yasaka: You will be leaving then.
Jin: Sadly. I have school to get back to and others I care about. A small business to run and others to take care of.
Yasaka: That's good. {You run a very busy life Jin. I'm... I'm so proud of you.}
Yasaka smiled as it seemed Jin was living his life to the fullest. Not only full of those he loved and took care of but also making something of himself besides being supernatural. Not limited to it.
However, nothing limited Jin. He wouldn't let it. Even his own life.
Jin: But I will come back to you.
Jin said as Yasaka blushed. Looking at Jin who was completely serious in his words and feelings. To Yasaka he didn't lie to her once. Maybe that's what made her blush so easily. Maybe that's what made every girl like Jin and blush at what he said. He was always honest in his feelings and never once exaggerated. He wasn't the type to lie. Even hiding things, he knew that could go badly quickly.
Yasaka: D-Don't let an old lady like me tie you down.
Jin: Please don't make light of my feelings and please... please don't think bad of yourself. My entire life is thanks to you and... I'm happy.
Jin said with a smile. He was truly happy. He may have not told anyone else that, but he was. Yasaka saw nothing but honesty in his eyes. He was honest about everything and that put a small smile on her face. Alleviating a burden she felt for so long. A burden she imposed on herself.
Yasaka: If... If you are so set on coming back, promise me... promise me I won't be your first. I don't deserve to have such a precious thing. {Despite how perfect that would be.}
Yasaka sometimes imagined something so perfect. Jin coming back and confessing his love, he would be as innocent and sweet as he was all those years ago. Guiding him to have a mutual and passionate love. A pure love that she would want to last a lifetime.
However, she couldn't let herself have such dreams. She had to at least punish herself somewhat for what happened.
Jin: If you think of yourself as so undeserving, okay. In turn, I'll come back with experience. I'll make sure you won't regret giving it up~.
