Ch 200 - More Arrangements

Jin had the Goddess Inari's luck on his side. Though with the subsiding Divine energy, it was likely that luck more than wore off saving his life and revealing a new function of his bond with Hinata and Taiki. It was convenient his Bonds could teleport back to him. Jin didn't know if this was a universal ability of bonds and familiars, but it definitely saved him the trouble of finding two white foxes jumping around in the sky.

No lost pet posters were needed anymore.

Though Hinata and Taiki were very sad that their punishment for nearly killing Jin was their dinners getting halved. Though they seemed more worried that they nearly killed him and didn't realise it. Licking him better as he carried them so they couldn't run away. Exploring a bit of the Phenex territory with them before the sky got darker, teleporting back to his room.

Jin: *Sigh* Please say you two don't have to run around anymore today.

Jin said placing Hinata and Taiki down, opening his bedroom door just in case they needed more time to run around, but he smiled as they stuck close to his legs, rubbing up against him showing that they were satisfied with their time running through the sky.

Jin: {I'm glad they're satisfied with their run.}

Jin thought as he slowly closed the door, walking backwards and falling back on the bed. Physically fine, mentally exhausted. Chasing foxes in such a small form, concentrating on his every step was more difficult than he thought. It was yet another thing he had to train and get used to, things pilling up even during his holiday. Especially the foxes that jumped on him and tried to lick him as an apology.

But that was a good thing. Smiling, he ruffled their fur, hugging them.

Jin: It's okay, I don't blame you. In fact, I'm quite happy you did that. I met someone new today and found out about a nice barbecue we can all go to. I... I just need to close my eyes and rest a little bit.

Jin said not used to so many things happening in one day. Especially not used to being thrown out of routine. Slightly closing his eyes for some rest.

But quickly his bedroom doors burst open with a loud and proud voice coming from the opening doors.

Kunou: Big brother! Dinners nearly ready!

Kunou said running up to Jin and transforming, jumping into the pile of foxes on top of him. Ruffling about as he groaned.

Jin: {No rest till the day is done then.}

Jin thought as another Youkai slowly got on top of him, but this one was a lot more calm and gently stroked his head. Their small cat tail swishing about as it was just the two of them and Kunou who she was comfortable with. Koneko was comfortable with Kunou seeing her Nekomanta form, telling her about it when they visited the library.

Koneko: It's okay Jin~. Just rest a bit. They're just gathering but the food isn't ready yet. Close your eyes and rest.

Jin looked at Koneko and Kunou who were getting comfortable within the pile on top of him. Two white foxes, one Kitsune transformed into a fox and one small Nekomanta, all piled comfortably together on top of Jin. Smiling he gently closed his eyes and held Koneko and Kunou close.

Jin: {Thank you, both of you.}

Jin said as he slowly drifted off into the comfort of the soft fur and the embrace of two small Youkai. Going to sleep.

Time skip

Jin had a small rest before a maid came to their room to call them for dinner. Maybe it was more appropriate to call it a cat nap as Koneko slept with Jin, Kunou, Hinata and Taiki in her Nekomanta form. It was clear she wasn't comfortable having it out in front of others as she quickly put away her ears and tail leaving the room. But with her favourite pets Hinata and Taiki, and her only Youkai friends Kunou and Jin, she seemed more than comfortable having it out in front of them.
