Leo: Who are we? We're Exorcists. Or more accurately to say, we were Exorcists. We're here to capture you.
Leo said as he looked at Jin, analysing him, his opponent. There were a few things strange about Jin that stood out to Leo. The regeneration was strange. Even if a Devil or "dark" being such as a Youkai had a special regeneration ability, being wounded by Light Power would significantly hamper their regenerative ability. It wouldn't work as fast as Jins did. On top of that, the way Jin used his energy was strange. He was teleported into the air because he would be at a tactical disadvantage as a Kitsune. A species that couldn't fly. But Jin was seemingly standing on air.
Leo noticed the variables that could affect his mission and took them into account. But with Jin's regeneration, their fun was only just beginning. They didn't have to hold back on hurting him. They didn't need to worry that he would die.
Jin: I don't remember angering the church. They shouldn't even know of me. I also don't believe the church hunting down Youkai. They're more spiritual beings than dark. So why are you after me and why do you know about me? {Sona told me Exorcists hunt down Devils, Vampires, Stray Devils and other such beings. Why are they after me?}
Leo: You're special Jin. Someone needed to purge all the evil of this world. The evil that had corrupted humans and Angels alike. It all needs to be purged. You are the key to that.
Jin looked at his opponents. He didn't understand what they meant he was the key to purging the world. To him, it was completely nonsense. But just like Leo, he was looking at the variables that could affect the fight. He was sizing up his opponents.
He looked at their golden wings, they functioned just like the wings of a Devil or Fallen Angel. They didn't flap like a bird but excluded magic that enabled them to fly and float. However, they were made of pure light power, unlike the physical wings other supernatural beings had. Jin also noticed the glowing, highly technological guns they possessed. Guns that must have fired the plasma bullets of light powers. They had powerful blades of light and their clothes seemed normal. But Jin could tell something about them. It was something Rias taught him.
To sense Sacred Gear.
Jin could tell all of them possessed one. They all had similar if not the exact same energy. The same Sacred Gear. But the man behind the other four, Leo had another one. He was the possessor of two Sacred Gears. One of which was still unknown to Jin.
Jin: Look, I don't know what makes me special, I don't care. But I know I'm not going anywhere with you. So bring it on, I'm already taking care of an annoying obsessive girl. I don't need people trying to imitate birds annoying me too.
Jin said getting into stance, but they weren't so easily angered as they all looked at each other. They didn't say anything, but Jin around so many women knew how much a look could communicate. So quickly Jin took the initiative to fire his powerful blue Fox Fire at them. It would have been enough to reduce any human to ash. Many supernatural beings to ash. But it didn't happen as Jin thought. No one was reduced to ash or burned.
Instead, a new power was introduced.
Leo raised his hand as a red glow came from his hand. The dark red glow quickly took form into a gauntlet, a dark red gauntlet with spikes coming from each knuckle, claws and a sharp design. In the red glow a diamond-like jewel formed in the palm of his hand. A dark red diamond siphoned Jin's blue flames, absorbing them into his palm with less than sparks left.
Leo: Who are you, to say this isn't going to be easy?
Leo smiled as two of the four men disappeared and reappeared in front of Jin. As fast as a flash of light, something Jin's eyes couldn't keep up with or ever see. Two of the men stabbed Jin with blades of light. Jin felt the blades pierce his stomach and stab up into his lungs. Out of his back, causing him to cough out blood. He felt the sting and burn of the light power as he gritted his teeth, and to his reaction, they smiled an evil grin. He couldn't see them at all. It was as if, for a moment they were as fast as light itself.
