Since more than half of the group was living in the Sitri residence, now Koneko included, sleeping at the Sitri residence. Rias thought it was best to take a stroll through the Sitri territory instead of teleporting back home. The day was coming to an end and the night in the Underworld was always something to admire. The sky was cloudless and even though stars were artificial, the sky emulating the human world with magic, it was no less beautiful.
Walking through the city with lights illuminating the streets, the Sitri territory was a lot less busy, especially later at night and down the paths they were walking to get to the Sitri residence. It allowed Jin to place down Taiki and Hinata, letting them stretch their legs before dinner and bed.
But in the action of helping Hinata and Taiki off his shoulders, an opportunity was seen. As Koneko and Kunou who were previously beside Jin switched to Akeno and Sona. There was some displeasure from Koneko and Kunou, their places beside Jin stolen. Kunou really didn't like that Akeno took the hand she was holding.
But everyone loved seeing Kunou and Koneko holding hands instead. Two very small people walking together hand in hand was adorable. Almost like a kitten and a young pup walking side by side.
Akeno: You know, this night sky and the city lights reminds me of something. You and Sona had a fancy date and had sex straight after. Your first date and you got busy~.
Sona: A-Akeno!
Sona said as her face went beat red. Akeno wasn't lying, Jin and Sona had one date before they sealed the deal. Though they already had a strong relationship, one date was all it took to confirm they loved each other to go all the way. Yet in saying that, the two small people holding hands glared at both Akeno and Sona.
Koneko & Kunou: {Lucky.}
Kunou and Koneko thought at the same time, both looking away and back ahead at the same time. All as Jin smiled. He found both Koneko and Kunou adorable. He could only imagine how adorable it would be if Koneko was in her Nekomata form at the same time Kunou was in her Kitsune form.
A small fox and a cat holding close to each other.
Akeno: What I'm trying to say is, me and Jin have been on several dates, yet I haven't been able to pass second base with him.
Jin: It hasn't been that many dates.
Akeno: We've been on a movie, shopping and dinner date. We've had picnics together, plural. There was that day when you were staying in the shrine with me and we had a baking date making pastries.
Jin smiled as he loved that date. Not just because he got to eat pastries with Akeno afterwards. The date itself was relaxing and baking with Akeno was fun and romantic. Icing on fingers was licked off and cuddles were made. It was a very fond memory of Jins.
Akeno: Our time together in the haunted house was not only fun, but we shared a few kisses. Yet we still haven't done it yet.
Akeno said as if asking Jin why. Why they hadn't sealed the deal despite the fact they both liked each other and they both knew of each other's feelings. Jin knew exactly why they hadn't sealed the deal. He knew the perfect moment he and Akeno could have had a romantic moment to go all the way. But he couldn't say it. Not now around so many people. An entire group of people around him.
Jin: We've just been unlucky. There's never been a right moment to go further.
Jin said and that wasn't a lie, even for the moment he was thinking of, it wasn't quite right. The dinner movie, shopping and dinner date was their first date, he hadn't known Akeno that long and he was only just getting familiar with his own feelings. He didn't know what to feel, all he knew was that he liked Akeno. Their picnics were outside and during the day. He couldn't really do something outside with Akeno, not in parks or forests. He didn't have the confidence needed yet. Not back then.
