Jin had nearly slept though classes because he was so bored. But while first years were doing club orientation to make the new students feel more welcome and to promote social interaction. Especially between the new joining boys. But now Jin was out on his lunch break. He knew he was going to join the chess club that ran after school. It was his way to spend more time with her as she was now apart of the student council and was often busy during break. Though it was more accurate to say she was the student council with everyone being on it a part of her peerage.
However, while Jin was presented with many options of club activities, manga club, photo club and a variety of others. What caught his interest was the track and field club, the Tennis club and the Kendo Club. All physically active clubs he thought he would like. Firstly heading to Kendo club in the training hall.
Heading inside the open doors as he looked at the large open room. A dojo. One with polished wooden floors, new from the school renovation. It was a traditional Japanese Kendo training hall with wooden walls, sliding doors and a sleek design. Everyone inside was wearing a traditional Budo Samurai Yukata Kimono. With the top half white contrasted with the bottom of the robe black. All with wooden kendo sticks. Training diligently.
Jin: Erm, hello?
Suddenly every single person in the room looked at Jin. Every single person was a girl.
???: What are you doing here?!
???: Is he another pervert?!
All of the girls walked closer to Jin in what would normally be quite threatening waving around wooden sticks. But to Jin that's all they were. Sticks.
Jin: I don't understand why that's your first impression of me and I'm sorry if I give of that impression, but I'm here because I wanted to join the Kendo Club.
Jin said as the girls looked at each other confused. Looking at one another as it what Jin said was weird. But not all of them had a bad first impression. Some of them were blushing just from Jins appearance.
???: This is the girls Kendo club.
Jin: Oh. Do you know where the boys Kendo club is?
???: There isn't any.
Jin: Oh.
Jin said looking disappointed as he hung his head down like a wounded puppy. Breaking some hearts of the girls around and hearing fawning. Not that he understood why.
Jin: Sorry for disturbing you then. I'll be on my way out.
Jin said turning around, disappointed by the fact that there wasn't a Kendo Club for boys, but what could he do? Opening the doors to leave.
???: Wait. Are... Are you really interested in Kendo?
A girl said with pink short hair. A hair band holding her hair back out of her eyes, but letting it down at the sides.
Jin: I was, but I'll have to do without now.
???: Wait please don't leave!
A girl with long ponytails and brown hair said, practically begging for Jin to stay.
???: Jin, if it's you, I'm sure everyone will be fine with you staying.
A girl with long straight flowing black hair said. Almost looking related to another girl he knew.
Jin: Do I know you from somewhere?
???: We've never met but I've been told about you. My name is Tsubaki Shinra. I'm part of the student council. {So this is the one Sona likes. He does seem really innocent. But with his looks and voice, he's like a Siren leading on everyone with his words. He doesn't even realise it, completely unintentional.}
Jin: {Ohhhh. She's in Sonas peerage. I remember the name being said in one of our conversations. A close friend if I remember correctly.} Nice to meet you Tsubaki.
???: I'm Murayama!
???: Hey! I'm the one that asked him if he was interested! I'm Katase!
Everyone quickly started to surround Jin and began shouting out their names. Crowding around him and getting extremely close. But when Jin started to look a bit intimidated they all quickly realised their mistake. Backing up.
Tsubaki: *Sigh* Let me help you. Murayama, Katase, please get a kendo stick and the training kit. Jin, are you okay?
Jin looked at Tsubaki as he shook his head snapping out of it. Looking more confused that he blanked out.
Jin: Huh? Yeah sorry about that. I'm just not good with all the noise and people crowding around me. I'm not used to being around so many people and when I was as a kid, it wasn't the best experience.
Everyone: Awwwwwww.
Everyone looked at Jin, who gave a small glimpse into his life earnestly and in complete innocence. He was someone who was tall, handsome, muscular and kind. But he was innocent and like a gentle giant. A giant cuddly creature just like his stuffed Snorlax.
Tsubaki: {He's... He's really dangerous. He was so earnest about that and so innocent even I nearly awed.} It will just be me, Murayama and Katase helping you to fit the clothes to you and adjust them. Everyone else! Continue training!
Tsubaki said with a glare that made them all shake. Going back to the training they were previously doing. Successfully Jin had entered the Kendo club, as the only boy in it and making a positive impression on all of them.
Though not the exact impression he believed he made.
