Jin: You... Why do you even need me to purge this world? You seem plenty strong yourself.
Jin said wiping the blood from his nose and lip. He could feel it, Leo wasn't nearly as strong as Jin was, but the speed he punched at was faster than Jin could perceive. It was so fast Leo could hit Jin several times before Jin could even realise it or feel the pain of the punch. Damaging him despite his lack of power.
Leo: Me? Strong? Don't delude yourself into thinking you're fighting someone strong. I may seem strong to you, someone who knows nothing of the real power they hold, but I know I'm just a fish in a well. I've only glimpsed at the power deep within the ocean. I'm only a fish that can jump a little bit higher than the others.
Leo said as he was completely aware of his position. He was aware of his power and where he was in this world. Without the Sacred Gear he was given, he wasn't even a fish in a well. With the Sacred Gear, he only amounted to a fish that could jump to get glimpses of the greater world. Get a glimpse of the ocean before he fell back into the well he was stuck in. Glimpsing at an ocean with Dragon Gods, powerful Satans, Fallen Angel leaders, Angels Seraphs and other terrifying beings. Gods and all.
Leo knew his position well. Unlike his comrades, he had a brain on him. He learned the extent of his Sacred Gear well within the limited time he had it. He developed his powers quickly.
But he knew a jumping fish was all he would remain to be. Even if he could jump, he would never jump out of his well.
Jin: So what you're telling me, is that you're a powerful little fish. What do you see me as then? The bacteria floating among you in the well.
Jin said as he was giving himself time to recover. Letting his wounds completely heal. Biding time to assess how powerful Leo was. Trying to understand how Leo could move so fast.
Leo: You really don't know the power you hold, do you? You're not bacteria, you're not a fish, not the species in the ocean that are dragons, not the sharks that are Gods, Satans or Seraphs. You aren't even the whales that are Dragon Gods or the other terrors in this world.
Leo disappeared as Jin tried to punch him, trying to predict where he would appear. Trying to take advantage of the gap where Leo couldn't see. But Leo dodged Jin's explosive punch and grabbed Jin by the throat with the sharp claws of his gauntlet. The claws dug into Jin's throat, making him suffer immense pain. Coughing up blood from his pierced throat. Blood came out of his mouth and flowed down to his lungs. But he also felt the gauntlet heat up immensely.
Leo: You're the world all these species live and revolve around. But the power inside of you, since you have no clue what it is, it might as well not be there. It's useless in this fight and now, you're the equivalent of the dirt under my feet.
Leo span with Jin's throat in his hand, throwing Jin hard and faster. But then, as if to prove the gap and try and demoralise Jin to fight. Leo accelerated fast and yet again Jin couldn't see anything yet. It wasn't even a blur in his eyes as Leo grabbed Jin's throat again and ripped it out. Ripping part of his throat out and kicking Jin back. Leo held his throat and crushed it. Throwing it away, showing the gap in their speeds.
Jin's throat slowly regenerated but he couldn't gain his footing as from the kick to the head Jin was spinning. For the others Jin fought, walking on air completely nullified their aerial advantage, but to Leo it was useless. His proficiency of his Sacred Gear was so great, his experience was vast and Leo was disappearing and reappearing in the air while flying fast. He wouldn't let Jin get a footing.
Leo threw away his light sword and gun. Instead, he delivered a variety of fast and imperceivable barrage of attacks. Punches that hit Jin 10 times before his head could fly back in reaction. Kicks that had the weight of a truck moving at the speed of an F1 car. Jin couldn't get his footing from the barrage of attacks. He was still coughing up blood that heated up and congealed or dried in his throat. He tried to perform his techniques, but he couldn't move at the speed of light. In speed, in experience, he was completely outmatched by Leo.
