You groaned and let yourself fall backward on the sofa in the boys' dorm, your head landing on Hyunjin's lap. "What's wrong?" he asked, not looking up from his phone as he played a game.

"I don't know what present to get Seungmin for Secret Santa," you whined.

"Just get him something," Hyunjin answered nonchalantly.

"It's not that easy!" you protested.

Hyunjin chuckled, patting your head briefly before returning to his game. "I'm sure you could gift him empty candy wrappers, and he'd pin them to his wall because they came from you," he said, amused.

You rolled your eyes. "I want it to be perfect," you mumbled.

"Just because you have a crush on him. You wouldn't be so concerned if you pulled one of us," he teased.

You sat up and pouted. "Hey, that's not true!" you protested.

"It is. We all know you have a crush on him. And he has a crush on you. You're both just too dumb to realize it," Hyunjin said, smirking.

"You're dumb yourself!" you retorted, grabbing your phone and calling him to ruin his game.

"Hey!" he yelled.

You giggled and quickly ran away, Hyunjin right behind you.

You exited the thousandth shop empty-handed. Despite finding a few things Seungmin might like, nothing felt right. You sighed and headed home, feeling defeated. You really wanted to give him something meaningful, but you were running out of time with only two days left. Maybe you could make something yourself...

You browsed the internet for ideas and soon decided to improvise. You went out again, buying everything you thought you'd need. You printed a bunch of pictures of the two of you and started arranging them nicely in a photobook. You also knitted him some gloves because his hands always got cold. The next day, you baked his favorite cupcakes and put them in a nice box before preparing a mixtape with all the songs that reminded you of him. Finally, you put everything together in a nice box and went to sleep, feeling extremely nervous.

The next day arrived quickly. You grabbed your gifts and headed to the boys' dorm. Snow had fallen overnight, and your feet crunched in the soft white. You went up, knowing how to get in without needing the doorbell; you couldn't remember the last time you'd had to use it, considering you were over here almost every day.

Seungmin walked into the hall just as you entered, and you quickly hid the box behind your back. He smirked, knowing exactly what you had.

"What are you up to?" he asked, amused.

"Nothing. Just hanging around," you said, kicking off your shoes.

He raised an eyebrow. "Let's go to the living room; everyone is waiting already," he said, grabbing your wrist and pulling you with him.

All the presents were already lying on the coffee table, and you placed yours with them. Everybody gathered, and you took turns opening your presents. Your heart sank. All the boys had bought each other expensive stuff. Felix even got you a way-too-expensive Louis Vuitton sweater. You gulped as Seungmin grabbed his present and grinned at you excitedly.

That's it. You blew all your chances with him. He will be so disappointed.

He opened it and looked inside, pulling out the photobook, flipping through the pages and reading the small messages you had written for each picture. But he didn't smile. Instead, he looked at you.

"Did you do all this yourself?" he asked, surprised, pulling out the gloves and putting them on.

Ashamed, you nodded.

That was when he started smiling like crazy. "That's so perfect! My hands always get cold! And the cupcakes are my favorite," he laughed, pulling out the mixtape next. "I'll listen to it later!" he said excitedly.

He took the gloves off and stood up, walking to you. "You seriously like it?" you asked quietly.

He laughed happily. "That's the best gift anyone has ever given me!" he said.

You slung your arms around him, pressing your body against his, feeling immensely relieved. The boys next to you started whispering as you just stood there.

"Hey guys, you probably should look up," Chan suddenly said.

You looked up, confused, only to see Han standing on the couch, holding a mistletoe over your heads and grinning mischievously.

Seungmin glanced up, his eyes widening as he noticed the mistletoe. He looked back at you, a mix of surprise and something else you couldn't quite place in his eyes. The room seemed to hold its breath as the boys waited to see what would happen next.

"Well, rules are rules," Hyunjin said, breaking the silence with a playful tone.

Seungmin chuckled softly, his gaze locking with yours. "I guess there's no escaping tradition," he said gently.

Your heart raced as he leaned in, his lips brushing against yours in a soft, tender kiss. The boys erupted into cheers and whistles, but all you could focus on was Seungmin and the warmth spreading through your chest.

When he pulled back, his smile was bright and genuine. "Thank you for the amazing gift. It really means a lot to me," he said softly, his hand lingering on your arm.

You smiled back, feeling a rush of happiness. "I'm glad you like it," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.

The rest of the evening was a blur of laughter, teasing, and shared stories. Seungmin stayed close to you, his hand often finding yours in a comforting gesture. The boys continued to exchange gifts, but the highlight of the night remained the moment under the mistletoe.

As the night wore on and the party began to wind down, you found yourself standing by the window, looking out at the softly falling snow. Seungmin joined you, his presence warm and comforting.

"Tonight was really special," he said, his voice low.

You turned to look at him, your heart swelling with affection. "It was," you agreed. "I'm glad I could share it with you."

Seungmin reached out, taking your hand in his. "You know, I've always admired how thoughtful and kind you are. Tonight just reminded me of how lucky I am to have you in my life."

You blushed, feeling a warm glow spread through you. "I feel the same way, Seungmin."

He smiled, his eyes shining with emotion. "Maybe we should stop pretending and just be honest with each other," he suggested, his tone hopeful.

You nodded, feeling a sense of relief and excitement. "I think you're right."

Seungmin leaned in, his forehead resting against yours. "So, how about we start by going on a proper date?"

You laughed softly, feeling a rush of joy. "I'd love that."

As the snow continued to fall outside, you and Seungmin stood by the window, lost in your own little world. The rest of the boys watched from a distance, smiling and exchanging knowing glances. This Secret Santa had turned out to be the start of something truly special, and you couldn't wait to see where it would lead.
