Changbin had been spending a lot of time at the gym lately, and it was impossible not to notice the results. His already toned physique had become even more defined, and with it, his choice of workout clothes had evolved too. These days, he often wore compression shirts that fit like a second skin, showcasing every curve and muscle he'd worked so hard to build.

You tried to keep your cool, but it wasn't easy.

One evening, you were at his place, hanging out while he wrapped up his workout. You sat on the couch, scrolling through your phone and waiting for him to finish up in the gym. It was part of your routine—he'd work out, you'd chill, and then you'd spend the rest of the evening together. Normally, you weren't too fazed by his workouts. You were used to his dedication and discipline. But today, when he walked into the living room, the sight of him nearly made you drop your phone.

He was wearing a dark green compression shirt that hugged his body in all the right places. The fabric stretched taut over his broad shoulders and chest, and it was impossible to ignore how it emphasized every ridge of his abs. Even his arms, which looked particularly powerful today, seemed to bulge more than usual.

You quickly looked down at your phone, hoping he didn't notice the way your face had suddenly heated up.

"Hey," Changbin called out, oblivious to your internal turmoil as he grabbed a water bottle from the kitchen. "I was thinking we could order something for dinner. What do you feel like?"

You tried to focus on his words, but your mind was too distracted by the image of him standing there, looking like he just stepped out of a fitness magazine. You glanced up briefly, only to find him looking back at you, waiting for an answer. His dark eyes seemed to sparkle with amusement, and it made your heart race.

"Uh, anything's fine," you mumbled, immediately regretting how awkward you sounded.

He raised an eyebrow, walking closer and leaning against the counter, his arms crossing over his chest in that casually confident way he had. "You sure? You're usually more opinionated about dinner."

You swallowed, forcing yourself to maintain eye contact even though all you wanted to do was hide your face. "I'm just... distracted, I guess."

Changbin tilted his head slightly, clearly amused by your sudden shyness. "Distracted, huh? By what?"

Your eyes flickered down to his chest, and then back up to his face, which was now sporting a knowing grin. You were sure your face was bright red at this point. "Just... stuff."

He pushed off the counter and walked over to you, his footsteps slow and deliberate. You felt your heart hammering in your chest as he stopped right in front of you, looking down at you with that teasing smirk still on his lips.

"Stuff?" he repeated, his voice low and playful. "Or maybe... something else?"

You bit your lip, your hands fidgeting with the hem of your shirt as you struggled to come up with a response. You knew he was enjoying this—he could always tell when you were flustered, and he loved to tease you about it.

"Maybe," you finally whispered, glancing up at him through your lashes. "It's just... your shirt."

"My shirt?" he echoed, glancing down at himself as if he hadn't realized what he was wearing. Then, his smirk widened. "Oh, this old thing?"

You nodded, your voice barely audible. "It's just really... tight."

Changbin laughed, the sound rich and warm, and it made your insides flutter. "It's supposed to be. Helps with the workout, you know?"

You nodded again, your eyes drawn back to the way the fabric clung to his torso. "I can tell."

For a moment, he just watched you, the playful glint in his eyes softening into something warmer, more affectionate. Then, he leaned down slightly, bringing his face closer to yours. "You know, you're cute when you get all shy like this."

You blushed even harder, if that was even possible, and dropped your gaze, staring at the floor as if it could save you from your embarrassment. But Changbin wasn't about to let you off the hook that easily. He reached out, gently lifting your chin with his fingers so you had no choice but to look at him.

"You don't have to be shy around me," he said softly, his tone sincere. "I like that you notice these things."

You swallowed hard, your pulse racing as you tried to steady your breath. "It's hard not to notice," you admitted quietly. "You look really... good."

His smile softened at your words, and he took your hand in his, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Thanks. It means a lot coming from you."

You managed a small smile in return, feeling a little more at ease now that the initial wave of shyness was starting to pass. But that didn't stop your heart from skipping a beat when he suddenly pulled you closer, wrapping an arm around your waist.

"You know," he said, his voice dropping to a low murmur, "if you ever want to get a closer look, all you have to do is ask."

Your breath caught in your throat as you looked up at him, your faces just inches apart now. The way he was looking at you—so intense, so full of affection—made your heart do a little flip in your chest.

"Maybe... maybe I'll take you up on that," you whispered, feeling a little braver with him holding you so close.

He smiled, leaning in just enough for his lips to brush against your forehead in a tender kiss. "Whenever you're ready, I'm here."

The moment felt so sweet, so intimate, that you couldn't help but lean into him, resting your head against his chest. He held you there, his hand gently rubbing your back, and you felt your shyness melt away, replaced by a warm, contented feeling that only he could give you.

You might be shy around him sometimes, but moments like this reminded you just how much you loved being by his side.
