It was a busy Saturday afternoon, and you and Felix had planned a day full of errands and activities. The morning had started off great, but as the hours passed, your energy began to wane, and the lack of a proper meal was starting to take its toll. You were feeling tired and hungry, which was never a good combination.

You were at the grocery store, the last stop before you could finally head home and relax. Felix was cheerfully pushing the cart, humming to himself, while you trailed behind, your patience wearing thin.

"Felix, can we just hurry up and get this done?" you snapped, your voice sharper than you intended. "I'm starving and exhausted."

Felix turned to you, his cheerful expression faltering a bit. "I'm sorry, Y/N. We're almost done. I just need to grab a few more things."

You huffed, crossing your arms. "Fine, but let's make it quick, okay? I'm about to collapse here."

Felix nodded, his expression now tinged with concern. He quickly started picking out the remaining items, trying to speed things up. As you reached the cereal aisle, you saw him hesitating between two different brands.

"Just pick one, Felix!" you exclaimed, your patience snapping. "It doesn't matter which one. I just want to get out of here."

He blinked, clearly taken aback by your outburst. "Alright, alright," he said, grabbing one box and putting it in the cart. "Let's go check out."

You felt a pang of guilt for snapping at him, but your hunger and fatigue were clouding your judgment. The line at the checkout was longer than you hoped, and you found yourself tapping your foot impatiently, letting out a frustrated sigh.

Felix glanced at you, his eyes soft with understanding. "Hey, why don't you go wait in the car? I'll handle this and meet you there in a few minutes."

You looked at him, your annoyance fading slightly as you saw the concern in his eyes. "Okay," you mumbled, feeling a bit guilty. "Thanks, Felix."

You headed out to the car, sinking into the passenger seat with a heavy sigh. The cool air inside the car felt refreshing, but you couldn't shake the feeling of guilt for being so snappy with Felix. You knew he was just trying to help.

A few minutes later, Felix arrived with the groceries, loading them into the trunk before sliding into the driver's seat. He turned to you, a small smile on his face. "Ready to go home?"

You nodded, unable to meet his eyes. "Yeah. And Felix, I'm really sorry for snapping at you. I didn't mean to be so whiny and rude."

He reached over, taking your hand in his and giving it a gentle squeeze. "It's okay, Y/N. I know you're tired and hungry. Let's get you home and get some food in you, alright?"

You felt a wave of relief at his understanding. "Thank you, Felix. I promise I'll make it up to you."

He chuckled, starting the car. "No need to make it up to me. Just relax, and we'll get you feeling better soon."

The drive home was quiet, but the tension had eased. Once you arrived, Felix insisted on putting away the groceries while you rested on the couch. You watched him move around the kitchen, your heart swelling with gratitude for his patience and care.

A short while later, Felix brought you a plate of your favorite snacks and something to drink, sitting down next to you. "Here you go. This should help."

You smiled, taking the plate. "Thanks, Felix. You're the best."

As you started to eat, you felt the irritability and fatigue melting away, replaced by a warm sense of comfort and love. Felix wrapped his arm around you, pulling you close as you both settled into the couch.

"Feeling better?" he asked, his voice soft and soothing.

You nodded, snuggling into his side. "Much better. And thank you for being so understanding. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Felix kissed the top of your head, his voice filled with warmth. "I'll always be here for you, Y/N. Even when you're hangry and snappy."

You laughed, feeling truly grateful for him. "I'm lucky to have you, Felix."

As you sat together, enjoying the rest of the afternoon in each other's company, you realized that with Felix by your side, even the toughest days could be softened by his love and patience. And you promised yourself to always appreciate his unwavering support, no matter what.
