It was early morning, and you were just seeing your one-night stand out the door. You offered him a polite but not-too-eager smile, trying to wrap up the awkward goodbye as quickly as possible.
"Thanks for, uh... last night," he mumbled, scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah, no problem. Take care," you replied, giving him a small wave as he shuffled down the hallway. You shut the door behind him, sighing heavily. The experience hadn't exactly been stellar—not the kind you'd want to brag about.
You turned toward the kitchen, hoping for some coffee to wake you up properly, but as soon as you stepped inside, you saw your Jeongin leaning casually against the counter. A sly grin was already tugging at his lips.
"Well, good morning," he said, his voice dripping with mischief. "Sleep well? Or... maybe not?"
You groaned, already regretting the walk of shame past your smug roommate. "Don't start."
Jeongin raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Oh, I'm definitely starting. You do know these walls are super thin, right?"
Your cheeks burned as you busied yourself with pouring a cup of coffee. "And?"
"And," he continued, stepping closer, "I heard every single awkward grunt that guy made. I swear, it sounded like he was trying to lift a fridge."
You sputtered out a laugh despite yourself, shaking your head. "Jeongin, you're the worst."
"I'm just saying!" he teased, leaning on the counter beside you. "Also, it was over really quickly. What was that, like two minutes?"
You groaned again, resting your head in your hands. "Okay, fine. If you must know, it wasn't great. He... finished fast, okay? Are you happy now?"
Jeongin's grin widened, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yikes. Hate to hear it, but honestly, not surprised."
"Oh, and you'd do so much better, huh?" you shot back, half-joking but curious to see how he'd respond.
Jeongin straightened up, looking at you with mock offense. "Are you kidding? Of course I would. I could go for ages."
You raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms. "You know, he said that too."
Jeongin smirked, stepping closer, the playful glint in his eye taking on a new intensity. "Yeah, but unlike him, I'd actually back it up."
Your breath caught in your throat at the confidence in his voice. You decided to push him a little further, leaning back against the counter with a teasing smile. "Big talk, Jeongin. You sure you're not just bluffing?"
