It's a perfect day for a date—a clear sky, a gentle breeze, and the promise of exploring one of the city's most beautiful botanical gardens with Chan. You're both in high spirits, chatting and laughing as you make your way through the various sections of the garden, admiring the vibrant flowers and towering trees.

The real highlight, though, is the greenhouse. Chan had read about it online and was eager to check it out with you. As you approach the entrance, you notice it's unusually quiet—no one else seems to be heading inside.

"Do you think it's closed?" you ask, peering through the glass doors.

Chan shakes his head, pushing one of the doors open. "Doesn't look like it. Maybe we're just lucky."

You follow him inside, immediately greeted by a wave of warm, humid air and the scent of exotic flowers. The greenhouse is breathtaking, filled with lush greenery, vibrant orchids, and ferns that brush against your legs as you walk down the narrow paths. The air is thick and fragrant, like you've stepped into a tropical paradise.

"Wow, it's beautiful," you say, taking in the sight of a towering palm tree in the corner.

Chan grins, clearly pleased with himself for picking such a spot. "Told you it'd be worth it."

As you wander deeper into the greenhouse, the two of you can't help but joke around. Chan pretends to be a nature documentary host, adopting a serious tone as he points out various plants with exaggerated importance.

"And here we have the rare and elusive... leaf," he says, crouching down to examine a perfectly ordinary leaf with exaggerated concentration.

You burst out laughing, shoving him playfully. "Oh, very informative. I had no idea what a leaf was until now."

Chan grins, clearly proud of himself for making you laugh. He straightens up and reaches out to gently pull you closer, his hand slipping into yours.

"Guess it's just us in here," he says, his voice softening.

You glance around, realizing he's right. It's just the two of you, surrounded by greenery, the only sound being the quiet hum of the greenhouse fans and the occasional rustle of leaves.

Chan's gaze lingers on you, and you feel your heart start to race. There's something about the way he's looking at you—like you're the only thing that matters in this moment. He steps closer, his free hand coming up to brush a stray strand of hair behind your ear.

Before you know it, his lips are on yours, gentle at first, then deepening into something more passionate. You melt into the kiss, feeling the warmth of his body against yours, your arms wrapping around his neck as he pulls you even closer.

For a moment, it feels like time has stopped—like it's just the two of you in this lush, green world, completely lost in each other. But then, just as the kiss reaches its most intense, you hear a faint clicking noise above you.

And suddenly, the sprinklers go off.

A burst of cold water showers down on both of you, shocking you out of the kiss. You gasp, pulling back as the water soaks through your clothes, your hair, everything.

Chan steps back, blinking in surprise, and then a grin spreads across his face. "Guess we know why no one else was in here."

You can't help but laugh, the absurdity of the situation hitting you all at once. You're both drenched, your clothes clinging to your bodies, water dripping down your faces, but instead of being annoyed, it just feels... fun. Like something out of a rom-com.

"Come on!" Chan says, grabbing your hand and pulling you toward the exit.

You stumble after him, laughing as you try to keep up, the water splashing beneath your feet. The two of you burst out of the greenhouse, still holding hands, and run into the open air, the warm sun immediately starting to dry your soaked clothes.

When you finally stop, you're both out of breath and grinning like idiots. Chan turns to you, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Well, that was unexpected," he says, brushing a wet strand of hair out of your face.

"You think?" you reply, still giggling as you look down at your drenched clothes. "We look ridiculous."

"But it was fun, right?" Chan asks, his smile widening.

You nod, your heart swelling with affection for him. "Yeah, it was."

Chan's grin softens into something more tender as he reaches out to cup your face in his hands, his thumbs gently brushing over your cheeks. "I'm glad it was with you," he murmurs, his voice full of warmth.

You feel a rush of affection for him, leaning into his touch. "Me too."

He leans in and presses a soft kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment before he pulls back, still holding you close.

The two of you stand there for a while, just enjoying the warmth of the sun and each other's company, your laughter still echoing in the air. It's one of those moments you know you'll remember for a long time.
