You're lying on the couch, scrolling through your phone, when it suddenly buzzes with an incoming call. It's Olivia, Felix's younger sister. The time on the screen makes your heart skip—it's late, way past the time she'd normally call.

You answer immediately, concern tightening in your chest. "Olivia? What's going on?"

There's a pause, and when she finally speaks, her voice is shaky, almost tearful. "Y/N... I really messed up. I need your help."

Your concern deepens. "What happened? Are you okay?"

"I went to a party," she confesses, her words slurring slightly. "I shouldn't have, but I told Mum and Dad I was with you... I didn't know who else to call. I can't call Felix. He'll be so mad at me. Please, can you come get me?"

You sit up, the gravity of the situation hitting you. "Of course, Liv. Where are you?"

She quickly gives you an address, and you recognize it as being not too far away. "Just stay put, okay? I'll be there soon."

"Thank you, Y/N," she whispers, relief evident in her voice. "I'm really sorry."

"Don't worry about that right now," you say, already grabbing your keys and heading out the door. "I'm on my way."

The drive is tense, worry gnawing at you as you think about Olivia, alone and scared at some party. When you pull up to the address, you see her sitting on the curb, looking small and vulnerable under the streetlights. You quickly park and rush over to her.

"Olivia," you say softly, helping her to her feet. "I'm here. Let's get you home."

She clings to you as you guide her to the car, her steps unsteady. Once inside, she buries her face in her hands. "I didn't want to disappoint Felix," she murmurs. "And Mum and Dad... they'd never let me out again."

You glance over at her, trying to be reassuring. "We'll handle it, Liv. I'll tell your parents you stayed with me. But next time, no more secret parties, okay?"

She nods, the guilt still heavy on her face. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. I didn't know what else to do."

The drive back to your place is quiet, the tension easing just slightly as you reassure her. When you finally pull into the driveway, you see that Felix's car is already there. He must have just gotten home, and the thought of explaining everything to him makes your heart race.

"We'll try to get you inside without him noticing," you whisper to Olivia as you help her out of the car. "Just be quiet."

But as you're carefully tiptoeing down the hallway, the light in the living room flicks on, and you freeze. Felix is standing there, a look of confusion crossing his face when he sees you and Olivia.

"Y/N? Olivia? What's going on?" he asks, his eyes narrowing as he takes in Olivia's disheveled state.

Olivia's face turns pale, and she looks like she's about to cry. You take a deep breath and step in, knowing there's no hiding this. "Olivia called me to pick her up."

Felix's expression shifts from confusion to concern as he approaches you both. "Olivia... are you drunk?"

She nods miserably, tears brimming in her eyes. "I didn't mean to get like this, Felix. I just wanted to have fun, but it got out of hand. I was too scared to call you or... or Mum and Dad."

Felix's features soften, and he pulls Olivia into a gentle hug. "Hey, it's okay. I'm just glad you're safe."

"You're not mad?" she asks, her voice small and vulnerable.

"No, I'm not mad," he assures her, smoothing down her hair. "I just wish you'd called me."

While Felix comforts Olivia, you quickly pull out your phone and text his mother, trying to make sure everything's covered. Hey! Olivia's staying over with me tonight. Our girls' night ran a little late, so she's just going to crash here. Hope that's okay!

The response comes almost immediately: Of course, sweetie. Thanks for letting me know. Have fun, girls!

With that settled, you tuck your phone away and turn back to Felix and Olivia. She's still leaning against him, looking relieved but exhausted.

"Why don't you get some sleep, Liv?" Felix suggests gently. "It's been a long night."

Olivia nods, and you guide her to the guest room, helping her settle in. Before you leave, she gives your hand a squeeze. "Thank you, Y/N. I don't know what I would've done without you."

"Anytime, Liv," you reply, giving her a comforting smile. "Get some rest."

You quietly close the door and head back to the living room, where Felix is waiting for you, a mix of relief and gratitude in his eyes.

"Thanks for being there for her," he says, pulling you into a warm embrace.

You relax into his arms, the tension of the night finally beginning to fade. "She's like a sister to me, Felix. I'd do anything for her."

He kisses the top of your head, holding you close. "We're so lucky to have you, you know that?"

You smile, feeling a deep sense of contentment. "I'm lucky to have you too."

As the night finally quiets down, the apartment peaceful and calm, you can't help but feel grateful that everything turned out okay. Olivia is safe, Felix is here, and in this moment, that's all that matters.
