You'd always had a habit of calling your boyfriend, Seungmin, by cute nicknames. Whether it was "Minnie," "baby," or "love," you loved calling him these affectionate terms. Seungmin, for all his calm and collected demeanor, secretly loved it too. He'd never admit it out loud, but you could tell by the way he'd blush slightly or how his eyes would light up whenever you'd call him something sweet.

One day, you decided to switch things up a bit. You were curious to see how he'd react if you called him by his name instead of your usual endearments. You figured it would be harmless fun, a little experiment to see if you could catch him off guard.

That afternoon, you were sitting together on the couch in the dorm's living room, casually scrolling through your phones. Seungmin was comfortably nestled beside you, his head resting against your shoulder as he watched a video. It was the perfect moment.

"Kim Seungmin," you said suddenly, your tone neutral.

Immediately, you felt him tense up beside you. His head snapped up, and he looked at you with wide eyes, like a deer caught in headlights. "What... what did you just call me?" he asked, his voice a mix of confusion and mild panic.

You couldn't help but grin inwardly at his reaction. "Kim Seungmin," you repeated, keeping your expression as serious as possible.

His reaction was priceless. "What did I do?" he blurted out, sitting up straight and putting a little distance between you. He was looking at you like he'd committed some unspeakable crime and was about to face the consequences.

You raised an eyebrow, struggling to keep a straight face. "What do you mean?"

Seungmin swallowed nervously, his mind clearly racing. "You called me by my full name. You never call me that unless... unless you're mad."

You almost lost it right there, but you managed to keep your composure. "Oh? So, I can't call you Seungmin anymore?"

He shook his head, his expression growing more concerned. "No, no, you can, but... are you mad? Did I do something wrong?" His voice was laced with genuine worry now, and you could see that he was mentally retracing his steps to figure out what might've upset you.

The thought of Seungmin actually being scared of you was too much. You finally broke, a laugh escaping your lips as you reached out to grab his arm. "Oh my gosh, Seungmin, I'm not mad!"

Seungmin blinked, processing your words. "You're... not mad?" he asked, his voice hesitant.

"No, not at all," you reassured him, still chuckling. "I just wanted to see how you'd react if I called you by your full name for once."

Realization dawned on his face, and he let out a relieved breath, though he still looked a bit shaken. "You really scared me there, Y/N. For a second, I thought I was done for."

You smirked, leaning in closer to him. "Wow, is that how scared you are of me?"

Seungmin shook his head, but the faint blush on his cheeks betrayed him. "You're terrifying when you're mad," he muttered, half-joking, half-serious. "I mean, I've seen Lee Know get scary, but when you're angry... I think I'd rather face him."

You giggled, finding his reaction utterly adorable. "Well, maybe you should behave then, Seungmin, so you never have to face that side of me."

He gave you a sheepish smile, leaning back into you now that he knew he wasn't in trouble. "Yeah, I think I'll stick to 'Minnie' and 'baby' from now on."

You kissed his cheek softly, feeling a warm affection for him. "Good call, Minnie."

Seungmin smiled, this time more relaxed, and wrapped his arms around you. "But seriously, don't do that again. I nearly had a heart attack."

You laughed, resting your head against his shoulder. "Okay, okay, I promise. But it was kind of cute seeing you all worried like that."

He pouted playfully. "You're the worst."

"And you love it," you teased, knowing full well that he did.

Seungmin didn't argue with that, instead pulling you closer as the two of you settled back into your comfortable position on the couch. Despite the little scare, you could tell he was happy to have you back to your usual self, cute nicknames and all.
