You and Jeongin had always been close, but recently, things had shifted into a new, undefined territory. It started with the small things—how you'd lean into each other during movie nights, how his hand would linger on your waist a bit longer than necessary, how he'd press soft kisses to your temple when he thought no one was looking. You weren't officially a couple, but anyone who saw you together would think otherwise.

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and you were at the dorms as usual. The other members were scattered around, either napping or doing their own thing, but you and Jeongin were in his room, sprawled out on his bed, the door slightly ajar. You were watching a movie on his laptop, though neither of you was really paying much attention to it. You were more focused on each other—on the warmth of his body against yours, the way his fingers idly played with your hair, and the soft smile that tugged at his lips whenever he glanced down at you.

As the movie played in the background, you shifted slightly, resting your head on Jeongin's shoulder. He looked down at you, his eyes soft as he brushed a strand of hair out of your face. Without thinking, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips—so casual, so natural, like it was something you did all the time. It wasn't the first kiss you two shared. It happened occasionally, not too often, but often enough that it was becoming ridiculous to pretend that you two were only friends.

You smiled into the kiss, your hand coming up to cup his cheek as you kissed him back, your lips moving in sync with his. What started as a simple peck quickly deepened, the kisses becoming longer, more lingering. Jeongin's hand slid to the back of your neck, pulling you closer as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss even further.

Before you knew it, the kisses turned into a slow, gentle make-out session. There was no rush, no urgency, just a comfortable rhythm as you lost yourselves in each other. It felt so easy, so right, like this was something you'd been doing forever. And in a way, it was. The line between friendship and something more had blurred long ago, and this—this effortless intimacy—was the result.

Jeongin's hand slid down your back, tracing lazy patterns as he held you close, your bodies pressed together. You could feel his heartbeat against your chest, steady and reassuring, and it made your heart swell with affection. Every kiss, every touch, felt like second nature, like this was exactly where you were meant to be.

The moment felt like it could be the beginning of something more, but as usual, neither of you took that final step. Instead, you both returned to watching the movie, though your mind was still spinning from the kiss, from the way Jeongin's hand remained resting on your waist, his touch warm and comforting.

The next day, you all had a group outing planned—a rare day off where the whole group could spend time together without any schedules to worry about. You arrived at the park where you'd agreed to meet, finding the other members already lounging on the grass, playing games, and enjoying the sunshine.
