It's a sunny afternoon when Jeongin pulls up in front of your apartment building, just like he always does. You smile when you see his car, the familiar sight of it giving you that warm, fluttery feeling in your chest. You've grown used to this routine—him driving you everywhere because you never got around to getting your license. Whether it's work, outings with friends, or simple errands, Jeongin is always there, keys in hand, ready to take you wherever you need to go.

As you slide into the passenger seat, Jeongin greets you with his usual bright smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Hey, how was your day?" he asks, leaning over to give you a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Not bad," you reply, settling in. "But I think I'm finally ready."

His eyebrows shoot up, curious. "Ready for what?"

"For my license," you say, a little more confidently than you feel. "I'm tired of being chauffeured around all the time. I want to drive."

Jeongin's surprise quickly melts into a wide grin. "Really? About time! You know the boys and I have been waiting for this day for months."

You roll your eyes playfully. "I know, I know. You all kept pestering me about it. So, I booked my test."

He beams at you, his excitement contagious. "That's awesome! I can help you practice more if you need it."

You shake your head, smiling. "Actually, I signed up for professional lessons. I didn't want to risk our relationship or your car."

Jeongin laughs, reaching over to squeeze your hand. "Fair enough. I'm proud of you for doing this, Y/N. It'll be great to see you driving."

The lessons are tough at first. You struggle with parking, lane changes, and sometimes even just maintaining a steady speed. But your instructor is patient, and over time, you start to feel more confident. Each day you get behind the wheel, you feel a little more in control, a little more prepared for when you'll finally be able to drive Jeongin around instead of the other way around.

And then the day comes. You pass your driving test. The moment the examiner hands you your license, you feel an overwhelming mix of relief and pride. You did it. You really did it.

When you tell Jeongin, he's over the moon. "I knew you could do it!" he exclaims, pulling you into a hug that lifts you off your feet. "I'm so proud of you."

You beam at him, holding up your new license. "So, when do I get to drive you somewhere?"

He laughs, ruffling your hair. "How about tomorrow? We could go grocery shopping—give you a chance to show off those new skills."

You agree, eager to finally take the wheel with him in the passenger seat.

The next day, you and Jeongin stand outside his car. He hands you the keys with a playful grin, though there's a hint of nervousness in his eyes that you can't quite ignore. But you push that thought away, determined to prove yourself.
