You loved baking, but your creations never turned out quite as you wanted. Frustrated yet determined, you signed up for a baking class at the local culinary school. When the day finally arrived, you were so excited that you showed up a bit early. You found a nice spot in the kitchen and waited for the other participants to arrive. The air already smelled of chocolate and vanilla, even though no one had started baking yet.
You were also excited because you knew the class involved working in pairs, and you hoped to get a nice partner. Not long after, a boy entered the room. He looked about your age, with long blonde hair that fell perfectly around his face, highlighting the freckles on his cheeks and nose. He scanned the room, and when his gaze met yours, he smiled shyly and made his way over to your table.
"Are you taking the class alone?" he asked, his deep voice making your heart skip a beat.
You nodded, too mesmerized by his voice to speak.
"Do you want to pair up?" he asked, nervously scratching his neck.
"Sure," you managed to say, pushing your flustered self aside and smiling. You felt your cheeks flush as he sat down next to you.
"I'm Felix, by the way," he said, tying his hair into a small bun.
"I'm Y/N," you replied, feeling the blush deepen. You couldn't remember the last time a boy as handsome as Felix had talked to you. He asked you a lot of questions, and you two chatted as the other participants arrived. With each passing second, it became easier to talk to him, and soon you found yourself laughing loudly at his jokes.
The class started, and you both got to work seriously. "Okay, you wanna crack the eggs?" Felix asked.
You nodded and took an egg. You had never really learned how to crack eggs, so you just freestyled it. As you pressed your thumbs into the shell, causing yolk to cover your fingers and bits of shell to fall into the bowl, Felix chuckled.
"I've never seen someone crack eggs like that," he said, amused.
You blushed, embarrassed. "I never really eat eggs, and I only recently started baking, so I didn't need to know."
"Wait," he giggled, picking out the pieces of shell from the bowl. "Let me show you how to do it." He took the remaining eggs from you. "It's so embarrassing", you mumbled. Your hands touched for a moment, sending an electric shock through your body. "It's not embarrassing. It's cute," he said. "Look, just do it like this." He cracked the egg open on the side of the bowl, smoothly getting it into the bowl.
"Try it! We have one egg left," he said, handing it to you.
You nodded and mimicked what he had done, successfully cracking the egg without making a mess. "That's so easy!" you cheered.
"I'm so proud of you!" Felix praised, making you blush even more.
You two finished baking and tasted the delicious cookies you had made. Each of you packed up half to take home, and you walked out together. Felix lived not far away but walked you to the bus stop.
"So... maybe we could meet up and bake together sometime?" he asked nervously.
"I would love that," you replied, trying to ignore the butterflies in your stomach.

After that, you met up often to bake, sometimes at your place and sometimes at his. You developed a silly little crush on him and cherished every moment you spent together. This time, you were heading to his place to bake brownies, carrying a bag of ingredients with you. You always had to bake larger portions at his place to treat his roommates to the baked goods.
You arrived at his place and started baking without hesitation. Everything was going smoothly until Felix grabbed a handful of flour and let it drop on your head. You opened your mouth in shock.
"You did not just do that!" you said, blinking at him in disbelief.
He smirked and threw another handful of flour in your face. "Oh, you just started a war," you said, grabbing flour yourself and throwing it at him.
Soon, the whole kitchen was covered in white, and you two weren't doing any better. Felix looked at you with an evil grin, grabbing an egg.
"Don't you dare," you warned him, but he took a step towards you. You stepped back but bumped into the kitchen island.
"Any last words?" he asked mischievously.
"I will kill you," you replied, glaring at him.
He grinned before cracking the egg open on top of your head. You screamed. "You should run for your life now," you said, starting to chase him around the kitchen with an egg in your hand. You dropped another one on the floor during the chase but finally caught up to him and smashed the egg against the back of his neck.
"I'm wounded!" Felix yelled.
You giggled as you turned around to run from him, but you slipped on the egg on the ground. You would have hit the floor if he hadn't slung his arms around your waist, pulling you close to catch you. You fell against his chest, looking up at his flour-covered face in shock. You wanted to apologize, but he was so close to your face that you couldn't bring a word out. You felt his breath on your face and suddenly felt insecure about how you must look with flour all over you and egg in your hair.
Felix stared at you, not removing his hands from your waist. Your stomach was doing somersaults.
"Uhm..." you started, but his eyes wandered to your lips, and you couldn't speak further.
"Y/N?" Felix whispered.
"Yes?" you said, your voice shaking.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked quietly.
Your heart skipped a beat, and you started shaking even more. "Yes," you whispered back, your eyes now fixed on his pink lips.
He leaned in, and you closed your eyes as his lips met yours. The kiss tasted a lot like flour, but still, the world stopped turning for you two. Felix lifted you up and sat you down on the counter without pulling apart, standing between your legs. You buried your hands in his hair, not caring about the fact that it was smeared with raw egg. Your hearts started beating in sync, and you forgot everything around you.
"What the hell, guys?" a voice pulled you out of your trance. Felix pulled away, and you both stared at the doorway. Chan was standing there, looking at you two in disbelief.
"Stop making out and clean the kitchen! What's wrong with you?" he said, though he wasn't really mad. He shook his head. "I give you two an hour!" he walked away, a small smile on his face.
Felix and you looked at each other, then burst into laughter.
