You and Seungmin had been practically inseparable ever since you started dating. It wasn't something you had planned or even talked about; it just happened naturally. Whether it was grabbing coffee, hanging out at the dorm, or heading to the studio, you and Seungmin were always together. You'd become such a familiar sight that even the rest of the group had come to expect it.

So when Seungmin decided to spend the afternoon catching up with some old friends from school, it felt a bit strange to be apart. He had insisted you should come along, but you knew he hadn't seen these friends in a long time, and you wanted him to have some quality time with them. Instead, you stayed behind at the dorm, enjoying some rare alone time. You found yourself lounging on the couch, scrolling through your phone, the quietness of the dorm a stark contrast to the usual bustling energy.

A couple of hours passed before Changbin wandered into the living room, looking a little surprised to see you by yourself. "Hey, Y/N," he greeted, flopping down on the couch beside you. "Where's Seungmin?"

"He's out with some friends from school," you answered casually, not thinking much of it.

Changbin raised an eyebrow at your response, clearly taken aback. "Wait, he's out? Without you?" he asked, as if the idea was unheard of. Then, a teasing grin spread across his face. "Did you guys argue or something?"

You laughed, shaking your head. "No, we didn't argue. He just wanted to catch up with them, and I figured it was better for him to do that without me tagging along."

Changbin seemed genuinely surprised by your answer. "I swear, you two are like glued together most of the time. It's kind of weird seeing you alone." He chuckled, giving you a playful nudge.

You rolled your eyes with a smile, but you couldn't help the small pang of realization. Seungmin and you really were together so much that it had become the norm for everyone around you. Even you had grown so used to his presence that the quietness of the dorm without him felt almost unsettling.

"I guess we are," you admitted with a light laugh. "But, you know, it's nice for him to have time with his friends too."

Changbin nodded, though the teasing grin never left his face. "Just checking. You had me worried for a second there."

You smirked, leaning back on the couch. "Trust me, if we argued, you'd know. Seungmin's not great at hiding his emotions."

"Yeah, true." Changbin laughed, relaxing a bit more. "But hey, it's kind of funny how used to seeing you two together we've all gotten. It's like, when one of you isn't around, something feels off."

You smiled, feeling a warm glow at his words. It was nice to know that your relationship with Seungmin had become such a natural part of everyone's life. "Well, we'll probably be back to normal tomorrow," you assured him. "Can't be apart for too long, you know?"

Changbin laughed. "Yeah, yeah. Just don't make it too obvious how whipped you guys are for each other."

You chuckled, feeling a bit of a blush creep onto your cheeks. "No promises."

The conversation shifted to other topics, and you both continued chatting for a while. But as the evening went on, you couldn't help but glance at the time, wondering how Seungmin's day was going and when he'd be back. You missed him, even though it had only been a few hours.

Later, when Seungmin finally returned, he found you still lounging in the living room. He smiled as soon as he saw you, the familiar warmth in his eyes making you realize just how much you'd missed him.

"Hey," he greeted softly, walking over to you and pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. "How was your day?"

"It was good," you replied, your heart lifting at his presence. "But it's better now that you're back."

He chuckled, sitting down beside you and wrapping an arm around your shoulders. "Missed me that much, huh?"

You leaned into him, feeling complete again now that he was home. "Maybe a little," you teased, though your smile gave you away.

Seungmin pulled you closer, resting his chin on top of your head. "I missed you too," he admitted quietly, his voice full of affection. "A lot, actually."

The two of you sat there for a moment, just enjoying the comfort of being together again. It was a simple, quiet kind of love, but it was yours, and it was perfect.

"You know," you said after a while, "Changbin thought we argued because we weren't together today."

Seungmin laughed softly, shaking his head. "Of course he did. Everyone's so used to seeing us together all the time."

"Maybe we do spend too much time together," you mused playfully, though you didn't mean it.

Seungmin smiled, tilting your chin up so he could look into your eyes. "I don't think there's such a thing," he said softly, his voice full of sincerity.

You smiled, leaning in to press a kiss to his lips. "Good. Because I don't think there is either."
