It's one of those days when nothing seems to go right. You wake up with a sense of dread in the pit of your stomach, knowing today is the day you get the results for that important exam. You've worked so hard, studied late into the night, sacrificed weekends, and yet, when the email finally arrives, it feels like the ground is pulled from beneath you. The word "fail" stares back at you from the screen, and it's like a punch to the gut.

You're still reeling from the disappointment when you head out, needing to clear your mind. But of course, your car decides today is the perfect day to break down. You're stranded on the side of the road, waiting for a tow truck, the frustration building with every passing minute. The sun beats down mercilessly, and you feel like the universe is laughing at you.

By the time you make it home, your wrist is throbbing. It's been bothering you all day, a stupid, sharp pain that flares up every time you move it. You don't know how you managed to hurt it, but it's the cherry on top of a day that's been nothing short of awful.

You collapse onto the couch, your body sinking into the cushions as you close your eyes, trying to hold back the tears of frustration. You want to scream, cry, or maybe just crawl into bed and forget this day ever happened.

That's when you hear the front door open. You know it's Changbin before he even speaks. You hear the familiar sound of his keys jangling as he sets them down, the soft shuffle of his feet as he comes into the living room.

"Hey," he says softly, his voice filled with concern. He takes one look at your face and knows something's wrong. "Bad day?"

You nod, unable to find the words to describe just how terrible it's been. You open your mouth to explain, but the words get stuck in your throat, and you just shake your head, trying to blink back the tears that threaten to spill over.

Changbin doesn't ask for details, not yet. Instead, he sits down beside you and pulls you into his arms. His embrace is warm, comforting, and you feel some of the tension in your body begin to ease. You rest your head against his shoulder, closing your eyes as he gently strokes your hair.

After a moment, he pulls back slightly, tilting your chin up so you're looking at him. His eyes search yours, and then, he gives you a small smile—a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"I think I know how to make you feel better," he says, his voice playful.

You raise an eyebrow, skeptical. "Changbin, I'm not sure anything can make this day better."

He just grins, and you know that look all too well. Before you can protest, he's leaning in close, his cheeks puffing out as he scrunches up his nose in the most exaggerated, adorable pout you've ever seen. He blinks at you, his eyes wide and innocent, and in a high-pitched voice, he whines, "Y/nnie, don't be sad! Binnie will make it all better!"

You can't help it—a small smile tugs at the corners of your mouth. Changbin's aegyo is something else. It's ridiculous and over-the-top, but that's exactly why it works. He knows just how to make you laugh, even when you feel like you're at your lowest.

But you're stubborn, and today has been awful, so you try to keep your composure. "Changbin, stop," you say, but there's no real force behind your words.

"Not until I see a smile!" he insists, and he's at it again—this time with a heart made from his hands, his fingers wiggling as he brings it close to your face. "Y/nnie, saranghae~" he coos, leaning in closer, his voice even higher and more ridiculous than before.

You bite your lip, trying to keep the smile from breaking through, but he's relentless. He's pouting, puffing his cheeks out like a chipmunk, and making little whining noises that are so absurd you can't help but let out a giggle.

But Changbin isn't satisfied yet. He pulls out the big guns, knowing this next move is sure to get you. He brings his hands to his face again, but this time, he opens his fingers just slightly to peek through them, his eyes wide and pleading. "Y/n," he whispers, his voice soft and sweet, "don't you want to give Binnie a kiss?"

He puckers his lips, leaning in just enough to be absurdly close, and then he makes a tiny "mwah" sound. You're doubled over now, clutching your stomach from laughing so hard. Your bad day feels like a distant memory, completely overshadowed by the ridiculous antics of the man you love.

Seeing your reaction, Changbin's face lights up, and he breaks character just long enough to let out a satisfied laugh. He pulls you into another hug, this time rocking you back and forth, his chest rumbling with laughter as well.

But he's not done yet. With a playful glint in his eyes, Changbin suddenly stands up and strikes a series of dramatic poses, his face scrunched up in a pouty expression. "Y/nnie, why aren't you smiling yet?" he asks, his voice dripping with exaggerated cuteness.

You can't help but laugh harder, the sound filling the room. But Changbin doesn't stop there. He launches into a full-on aegyo routine, complete with exaggerated winks, finger hearts, and even a little dance, swaying side to side as he sings, "Binnie loves Y/nnie~ Binnie wants Y/nnie to smile~" in a singsong voice that's so sweet it's almost sickening.

He finishes with a dramatic flourish, throwing his arms wide open and puffing out his cheeks one last time before collapsing onto the couch beside you, feigning exhaustion. "Whew," he says, wiping imaginary sweat from his brow, "being this cute is hard work!"

You're practically in tears from laughing so hard, clutching your sides as you try to catch your breath. Your bad day feels like a distant memory, completely overshadowed by the ridiculous antics of the man you love.

Seeing your reaction, Changbin's face lights up, and he pulls you into another hug, this time cradling your head against his chest. "There it is!" he exclaims triumphantly, his grin widening as he sees the laughter in your eyes. "I knew I could do it!"

You shake your head, still smiling despite yourself. "You're ridiculous," you say, but there's warmth in your voice, a lightness that wasn't there before.

Changbin wraps his arms around you again, pulling you close. "Maybe, but I'll do anything to see you smile," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

And just like that, the weight of the day starts to lift. It's not completely gone—you're still disappointed about the exam, your wrist still aches, and you'll have to figure out what to do about the car. But in this moment, none of that seems quite as bad. Because you have Changbin, and he knows exactly how to turn the worst days into something bearable, even if it takes a little bit of ridiculous aegyo to do it.

You snuggle into his embrace, letting out a contented sigh. "Thanks, Binnie," you whisper, and you mean it.

He smiles down at you, his eyes soft and full of affection. "Anytime, Y/n. I'm always here for you."
