It was a rare occasion, but tonight you and Seungmin had the whole dorm to yourselves. The boys had gone out—some for schedules, others to visit their families—and you and Seungmin decided to seize the opportunity for a cozy movie date. You brought an abundance of snacks, and Seungmin piled the couch high with blankets and pillows. Together, you decided to watch the Marvel movies in order. Soon, you were both nestled on the sofa, with Captain America playing on the TV. Seungmin lay on his back, and you comfortably sprawled on top of him, his arms draped around your waist and your head resting on his chest. He gently stroked your back and played with your hair, lulling you into a drowsy state.
Despite your drowsiness, you managed to finish the first movie and moved on to Iron Man. Your eyes grew heavier. "Are you sleepy?" Seungmin asked, planting a sweet kiss on top of your head.
"A little. But not too much," you mumbled, snuggling deeper into him. He pulled a blanket over both of you, making sure you were covered to your chin so you would stay warm and cozy.
"It's okay. You can sleep a little," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. You nodded slightly but managed to stay awake through the second movie. When Seungmin started the third, the opening scenes were all it took for you to drift off. Seungmin wasn't far behind, and soon both of you were fast asleep.
You only woke up the next morning when you heard the front door open and laughter. "Look, the lovebirds had a movie night," a voice said, but you were too sleepy to identify it. Maybe it was a dream. You snuggled deeper into Seungmin, who held you close like a beloved stuffed animal, his body warm and comforting.
"I'm gonna snap a picture and tease him about it until he's half fifty-two," another voice said, followed by the sound of a phone camera snapping a photo. Well, maybe this wasn't a dream?
Groggily, you blinked your eyes open, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. You recognized the voices of the returning boys, full of mischief and amusement. Seungmin stirred beneath you, his hold on you tightening slightly as he woke up. He mumbled something incoherent, still half-asleep.
"Morning, sunshine," Hyunjin teased, ruffling Seungmin's hair.
Seungmin groaned, burying his face in your shoulder. "What time is it?" he asked, his voice muffled.
"Time for breakfast," Lee Know replied. "We brought back some food. Get up and join us when you're ready."
As you slowly sat up, you noticed Jeongin holding his phone, grinning widely. "This is definitely going in the group chat," he said, waving his phone at you.
"Yeah, we'll make it the new dorm wallpaper," Han chimed in, laughing.
Seungmin rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at his lips. "You guys are impossible," he muttered, rubbing his eyes.
"Oh, come on, it's adorable," Hyunjin said, leaning over to give Seungmin a light shove. "You two looked like a scene from a drama."
"Yeah, Seungmin, since when did you become such a softie?" Han teased, winking at you.
You felt your cheeks flush but couldn't help laughing. "You should have seen him last night," you said playfully. "He was quoting Iron Man like it was Shakespeare."
The boys erupted in laughter, and Seungmin shook his head, chuckling. "Alright, alright, enough," he said, trying to sound stern but failing miserably.
"Let's just eat," he added, standing up and offering you a hand. Together, you joined the others for breakfast, the smell of fresh food mingling with the lingering scent of popcorn from the night before.
As you sat down at the table, the teasing continued. "So, when's the wedding?" Lee Know asked, waggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"Yeah, Seungmin, are we all invited?" Han chimed in, nudging him with a grin.
Seungmin's face turned a deep shade of red, and he buried his face in his hands. "Can we not do this right now?" he mumbled, clearly embarrassed.
"Oh, come on, Seungmin," Chan said, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "We're just happy for you. It's not every day we see you all cuddly and sweet."
Seungmin groaned, shaking his head. "You guys are the worst," he said, though there was a hint of a smile on his face.
"Admit it, you love us," Chan teased, ruffling Seungmin's hair again.
"Yeah, and we love seeing you this happy," Felix added, his tone a bit more sincere.
You reached over and squeezed Seungmin's hand under the table, offering him a reassuring smile. He squeezed back, his expression softening as he looked at you.
"You know, if you guys are going to keep teasing us, at least make it interesting," you said, raising an eyebrow. "Like, who's making the toast at our imaginary wedding?"
The boys burst into laughter again, and Seungmin shook his head, laughing along with them despite himself. "You're just encouraging them," he whispered to you, but his eyes were full of warmth.
The teasing continued throughout breakfast, with exaggerated stories about your supposed future together and mock arguments over who would be the best man. Even as the boys continued to tease, their laughter filling the dorm, you knew you could always find solace in each other's arms, no matter how chaotic things got.
After breakfast, as the boys dispersed to their rooms, Seungmin pulled you aside. "Thanks for putting up with them," he said softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
"Are you kidding? I love it," you replied with a grin. "Besides, I get to see you all flustered, and that's totally worth it."
He laughed, shaking his head. "You're impossible," he said, but his eyes were filled with affection.
Together, you tidied up the remnants of your movie night, the dorm slowly returning to its usual bustling state. Despite the teasing and the chaos, you felt a deep sense of contentment. These moments of peace and intimacy were rare, but they were all the more precious because of it.
