It started earlier in the evening when you and the boys were getting ready to head out. Chan had been in an especially sweet mood, humming softly to himself as he helped you gather your things. You couldn't help but smile as he took your scarf from your hands and gently wrapped it around your neck, his fingers brushing your skin as he adjusted it to sit perfectly.

"You'll need this," he murmured, his voice filled with affection. He held your jacket open for you next, and you slipped your arms into the sleeves, feeling the comforting weight of his attention as he zipped it up for you. He made sure it was snug and secure, giving you a satisfied smile once he was done.

"Perfect," he said softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he admired his work. But he wasn't done. He picked up your beanie, gently placing it on your head and adjusting it so it covered your ears. His fingers lingered for a moment, brushing a stray lock of hair back into place.

"Can't have you getting cold," he teased, his tone light but his care unmistakable. You laughed softly, warmth blooming in your chest at his tender attentiveness.

Finally, Chan knelt down to tie your shoelaces, despite your playful protests that you could do it yourself. He just shook his head with a grin. "Let me take care of you," he said, his voice filled with gentle insistence. You watched as he tied the laces into neat bows, his humming never faltering as he finished the task.

The other boys had already been ready and were waiting by the door, watching the whole scene unfold with amused smiles. Hyunjin leaned against the wall, nudging Felix and exchanging knowing glances. Seungmin simply shook his head with a soft chuckle, clearly entertained by how Chan doted on you.

When Chan finally stood up, he gave you a once-over, making sure everything was perfect. "All set," he declared with a bright smile, his eyes filled with warmth.

"You really didn't have to do all that," you teased, though you couldn't hide the appreciation in your voice.

"I wanted to," he replied, his tone light yet sincere. "You deserve to be taken care of."

Felix couldn't resist chiming in with a laugh. "You're going to make us puke, Chan."

"Yeah," Hyunjin added with a grin. "Could you be any more sweet?"

Chan just laughed, slipping his arm around your shoulders as he pulled you close. "I'm just in a good mood today."

As you stepped outside into the cold night air, you immediately felt the winter chill biting at your hands. You were about to slip them into your pockets when Chan's hand found yours first. Without a word, he gently took your hand and buried it in the warmth of his own coat pocket, his fingers intertwining with yours.

"There," he said softly, his voice filled with that same sweet affection that had been present all evening. "I'll keep you warm."

The simple act of burying your hand in his pocket, feeling the warmth of his touch against the backdrop of the freezing winter night, made your heart swell with gratitude and love.

The other boys trailed behind, still teasing Chan lightly but with a clear fondness in their voices. As you walked together through the snow-covered streets, Chan kept you close, his hand warm and secure around yours, tucked safely in his pocket. The cold seemed less biting, the winter night less daunting, with him by your side. And as you walked, the snow crunching beneath your feet, you couldn't help but feel that no matter how cold the world outside might get, with Chan, you would always feel warm.
