From the day you met Changbin, he became a constant presence in your life, someone who always seemed to be there when you needed him. There was something about the way he looked at you, the way his eyes softened when you spoke, that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. And to Changbin, you were.
It started with small things—things that seemed insignificant but meant the world to you. Whenever the group went out to eat, he would always make sure your favorite dish was ordered, without you even having to ask. If you mentioned in passing that you liked a certain snack, you could bet that he'd have it ready for you the next time you saw him. If you were feeling down, he was the first to notice, gently coaxing a smile from you with his soft words and warm presence.
The other boys noticed, of course. They teased him endlessly, calling him your "knight in shining armor" or joking that he was wrapped around your little finger. Changbin would just smile and shrug it off, unbothered by their comments. To him, taking care of you wasn't a chore—it was something he did willingly, gladly, because he wanted to see you happy.
Over time, his care for you became more obvious, more deliberate. He'd pick up on the smallest details—how you liked your coffee, what music you listened to when you needed to relax, the way you liked to curl up with a blanket on cold days. He made it his mission to anticipate your needs before you even realized them yourself. And he did it all with such genuine warmth that it was impossible not to feel cherished.
"Do you ever get tired of spoiling her?" Felix asked one day, watching as Changbin gently adjusted the blanket around you, making sure you were comfortable as you napped on the couch.
Changbin just smiled, brushing a strand of hair from your face. "Nope. She deserves it," he replied simply, his voice so full of affection that it made Felix groan.
"You're hopeless," Felix muttered, though there was a smile tugging at his lips.
Changbin didn't care. He knew he was soft when it came to you—softer than he'd ever been with anyone else. But he couldn't help it. To him, you were the most beautiful, kind-hearted person he'd ever met, and he wanted to make sure you knew it.
One evening, after a particularly long day, you came back to the dorms exhausted. Your feet hurt, your shoulders were tense, and all you wanted was to collapse into bed. As you trudged inside, Changbin was already waiting for you, a knowing smile on his face.
"Tough day?" he asked softly, his voice filled with concern.
You nodded, too tired to even speak.
Without another word, he gently took your bag from you and led you to the couch. "Sit down," he murmured, guiding you to sit before kneeling in front of you. "Let me take care of you."
You watched in surprise as he carefully slipped off your shoes and began massaging your feet, his touch gentle and soothing. It felt like heaven, and you couldn't help but sigh in relief, your eyes fluttering shut as you relaxed into the cushions.
"Binnie, you don't have to..." you started to protest, but he silenced you with a soft smile.
"I want to," he said simply, his hands continuing their careful work. "Just let me take care of you."
The tenderness in his voice made your heart swell, and you couldn't bring yourself to argue. Instead, you let yourself enjoy the moment, the feeling of being completely cared for. It wasn't just the physical relief that made you feel so good—it was the way Changbin was looking at you, the way his every action was filled with genuine care and affection.
After he finished massaging your feet, he disappeared into the kitchen, only to return a few minutes later with a steaming cup of tea. He handed it to you with a smile, then sat down beside you, pulling you close so you could rest your head on his shoulder.
"Thank you," you whispered, feeling a warmth spread through your chest, not just from the tea, but from his presence, his touch.
"Anytime," he replied softly, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of your head.
As you sat there, wrapped up in the warmth of his arms, you couldn't help but feel like the luckiest person in the world. Changbin's care for you went beyond simple gestures—it was in the way he looked at you, the way he always seemed to know exactly what you needed, the way he made you feel like you were the center of his world.
The other boys continued to tease him, of course, making jokes about how Changbin was "whipped" or how he was turning into a complete softie. But Changbin just took it all in stride, never once wavering in his treatment of you.
One day, when Chan caught him carefully tying your shoelaces before the group headed out, he shook his head with a chuckle. "You're gonna give her a princess complex, you know that?"
Changbin just smiled, finishing the knot and looking up at you with that familiar softness in his eyes. "Good," he replied, standing up and offering you his hand. "Because she deserves to be treated like one."
Your heart fluttered at his words, and you took his hand, feeling warmth spread through you. As you walked beside him, your fingers intertwined, you couldn't help but marvel at how incredibly lucky you were to have someone like Changbin in your life.
Someone who saw you for who you were, who treated you with a level of care and respect that made you feel truly special. Someone who was always there to lift you up, to make you smile, to remind you that you were worth every ounce of love he gave you.
And as you looked up at him, catching the way his eyes softened whenever they met yours, you knew one thing for certain—Changbin wasn't just taking care of you. He was cherishing you, with every gentle touch, every soft word, every moment you spent together. And you loved him all the more for it.
