You wake up with a mischievous grin on your face, already plotting how to make this day the most irritating one Seungmin has ever experienced. He's your best friend, after all, and what are best friends for if not to annoy each other to no end? The idea of teasing him relentlessly today tickles you with anticipation, and you can't wait to see how long it'll take for him to crack.

The moment you meet him in the living room, you start small. "Seungmin, you've got something on your face," you say, pointing to his cheek.

He frowns, rubbing at the spot. "Where?"

You suppress a laugh. "Oh, never mind. It's just your face."

He rolls his eyes, already catching on to your antics, but he doesn't say anything. You know better than to back off just because of that.

Throughout the day, you're a buzzing nuisance, flitting around him like an irritating fly. He's in the kitchen making breakfast? You steal a piece of toast from his plate just as he's about to take a bite. He's sitting on the couch reading a book? You lean over his shoulder, loudly narrating the sentences he's trying to read in a sing-song voice. He's texting on his phone? You poke at his ribs until he's forced to drop it and glare at you.

"Y/N, seriously?" he asks, exasperation creeping into his tone. "Do you need attention that badly?"

You simply grin at him. "Maybe."

The other boys start to notice too. Chan gives you a knowing look, while Felix can't help but snicker every time he passes by, shaking his head in disbelief at your persistence. Even Hyunjin raises an eyebrow when you follow Seungmin to the bathroom, pretending you're going to barge in. The door slams in your face, and you hear Seungmin groan from the other side.

You're having the time of your life.

But by evening, even you have to admit you're running out of ideas. You've pulled every trick in your book, from hiding his shoes to blasting music in his ears while he's trying to relax. Yet, despite the playful tension in the air, there's something almost electrifying about the way Seungmin's patience is wearing thin. It's like a string wound too tight, ready to snap.

You find him in the living room, sitting on the couch with his arms crossed, clearly trying to ignore you. You, of course, can't leave well enough alone. With a smirk, you plop down beside him, leaning in until your face is inches from his. "Seungmin," you sing, dragging out his name in the most annoying way you can manage.

He doesn't even look at you. "Y/N, I swear—"

"Seungminnie," you interrupt, poking his cheek this time. "Are you mad at me?"

That does it. He turns to you with a look that's both exhausted and intensely focused. Before you can blink, he grabs your face and presses his lips to yours in one swift motion. The kiss is firm, quick, and completely unexpected.

Your mind goes blank.

When he pulls back, his eyes bore into yours, daring you to say something, anything. But you're stunned into silence, all your teasing energy evaporating in an instant.

"That," he says, his voice low and serious, "is the only way I could think of to get you to shut up."

You stare at him, completely off guard. For the first time all day, you have nothing to say. The playful tension between you both is suddenly charged with something different, something you're not sure how to handle. He gives you a small, satisfied smirk and stands up, leaving you sitting there, speechless.

It takes you a few minutes to recover, and when you do, all you can think is that you might have to come up with an entirely new game plan tomorrow.
