It was one of those days where the world felt just a little too overwhelming, and all you wanted was to be close to Jisung. From the moment you woke up, a soft, gnawing neediness clung to you, refusing to go away. You knew Jisung had a busy day ahead, but you couldn't help it—you wanted, no, needed to be near him.
"Jisung," you mumbled sleepily, your arms automatically wrapping around him as he stirred beside you. "Don't go to work today."
He chuckled, his voice still thick with sleep as he shifted to face you. "I wish I could stay in bed with you all day, but you know I can't."
You pouted, snuggling closer and burying your face in his chest. "Just skip one day."
"You know I can't do that," he murmured, kissing the top of your head. "But if you want, you can come with me."
That suggestion was all you needed. You nodded eagerly, lifting your head to meet his eyes. "Really? I can come?"
"Of course," he said, smiling softly at your enthusiasm. "I'd never say no to spending more time with you."
A sense of relief washed over you at his words, and you couldn't help but smile as you pressed a kiss to his lips. "Thank you, Jisung."
"Anything for you," he replied, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear before reluctantly getting out of bed. "Let's get ready, okay?"
You followed him around the apartment as he prepared for the day, never straying far from his side. When he was in the bathroom brushing his teeth, you stood beside him, leaning your head on his shoulder. When he was picking out clothes, you sat on the bed, watching him with a contented smile. The closer you were to him, the better you felt.
After breakfast, you both headed to the company together. Usually, when you tagged along, you'd wander around or hang out with the other members while Jisung worked, but today was different. Today, you couldn't bring yourself to leave his side.
As you entered the practice room, the other members greeted you with their usual warmth.
"Hey, Y/N!" Chan called out, grinning at you. "Good to see you here again."
"Yeah," Felix added with a playful smile, "Keeping Jisung company today?"
You nodded, a little sheepishly. "Something like that."
Jisung shot you a fond look as he set down his bag. "She's a bit clingy today."
"Oh?" Hyunjin raised an eyebrow, glancing between the two of you. "Clingy Y/N? That's new."
You shrugged, not bothering to deny it. "I just... feel like being close to him today."
The boys exchanged amused glances, but no one said anything else about it. They were used to your presence by now, and they respected your need for a bit of extra comfort today.
