You stood backstage at a festival, waiting for your turn. It was your first festival ever, and you were already one of the headliners. A lot of people had come just to see you, and you were thrilled by their support. You were on in five minutes and were desperately trying to close the zipper of your way-too-short dress. You had opened it earlier because you simply couldn't breathe in it. Now, you slightly panicked as you couldn't grasp the zipper.

"You need help?" a voice asked.

You looked up to see Yang Jeongin standing in front of you. Stray Kids were playing their set after you, and he was already in costume, his makeup perfectly done. You stared at him for a moment, taken aback by how beautiful he was. You knew him a little since you were also signed under JYP, but you had never really talked much. You were too shy, considering how popular they were, and you had only started gaining fame a few months ago. Your interactions had never gone further than a hello or goodbye in the hall. Now, he smiled at you kindly.

"Oh... that would be nice, thank you," you said, gathering your hair in the front so it wouldn't get caught in the zipper and turning your back towards him.

He gently pulled up the zipper, his fingers brushing your back in the process and sending a shiver down your spine. "You're all set," he said, letting your hair fall back down your back.

You turned towards him and smiled. "Thank you, you are my savior," you joked.

Just then, a man came running to you, pressing a microphone into your hand. "You're on in one minute!" he reminded you.

You nodded. "Have fun. I'll try watching as much as I can," Jeongin said, smiling.

You smiled back, feeling a bit more nervous. But as soon as you stepped onto the stage, the nerves disappeared. It was just you and the crowd, cheering and screaming for you. You played your entire set, the audience singing along with you. As it was time for your last song, you addressed the crowd.

"You know, guys, I have a little surprise for you," you said, holding the microphone towards the audience as they screamed. "Maybe, just maybe, I brought a new song with me... one that will come out in a month," you smiled big as everyone started cheering. "You want me to play it for you?" you asked, and as everyone screamed, the band began to play the first notes. You took a deep breath and started singing.

***

I kinda wanna throw my phone across the room
'Cause all I see are girls too good to be true
With paper-white teeth and perfect bodies
Wish I didn't careI know their beauty's not my lack
But it feels like that weight is on my back
And I can't let it go

Comparison is killing me slowly
I think, I think too much
'Bout kids who don't know me
I'm so sick of myself
I'd rather be, rather be
Anyone, anyone else
My jealousy, jealousy
Started following me
Started following me
