The day has been nothing short of overwhelming. From the moment you woke up, it seemed like everything was stacked against you—delays, unexpected problems, and an endless stream of things demanding your attention. By the time you finally get home, your mind is racing, and your body is stiff with tension. All you want is a moment of peace, a chance to breathe, but even that seems out of reach.
As soon as you walk through the door, Felix is there, his eyes filled with concern as he takes in your weary expression. He doesn't say anything at first, just pulls you into a warm embrace, his arms wrapping around you in a way that immediately starts to ease the tension in your body. You lean into him, closing your eyes as you let out a long, shaky breath.
"Rough day?" he asks softly, his voice a comforting murmur in your ear.
You nod against his chest, not trusting yourself to speak just yet. He holds you for a moment longer, his hand gently rubbing circles on your back, before he pulls away just enough to look at you.
"Let me help you relax," he says, his voice full of warmth and understanding. "You deserve it."
You don't argue, too exhausted to resist the offer of comfort. Felix leads you to the living room and gently guides you to sit down on the couch. As you settle into the cushions, he kneels behind you, his hands resting lightly on your shoulders.
"Just close your eyes," he whispers, his fingers beginning to move in slow, soothing circles over your tight muscles.
You do as he says, closing your eyes and letting out a deep breath as his hands start to work their magic. His touch is gentle at first, gradually increasing in pressure as he begins to knead the knots in your shoulders and neck. Each movement is deliberate, his fingers finding the exact spots where the stress has settled and carefully working it out.
The tension in your body starts to melt away under his skilled touch, and you find yourself sinking deeper into the couch, your mind finally beginning to quiet. It's as if he knows exactly what you need, his hands moving with a perfect balance of firmness and tenderness. He works his way down your back, his fingers pressing into your muscles in a way that's both comforting and relaxing.
"How does that feel?" Felix asks after a while, his voice a soft murmur in your ear.
"Perfect," you manage to whisper, your voice heavy with relaxation.
His hands continue their slow exploration of your back, easing the last remnants of tension from your body. But even as you begin to relax, you can feel the exhaustion of the day weighing on you, making you wish for something more—something that will completely wash away the stress.
As if reading your thoughts, Felix pauses his massage and moves to kneel in front of you. "I think you need something more," he says, his eyes filled with that familiar concern. "How about a nice, warm bath?"
