The award show was meant to be a night of celebration, a moment of glory for both your group and your boyfriend, Han Jisung, who was also attending with Stray Kids. But as the night went on, the noise, the flashing lights, and the sheer volume of people started to overwhelm you. Even though you were part of one of the most famous K-pop girl groups, the social anxiety that you often battled with crept in, threatening to take over.

You tried to keep it together, smiling for the cameras, chatting with other idols, and performing your role as best as you could. But the anxiety kept building, and before long, you felt it spiraling into something more uncontrollable. Your chest tightened, your breath came in short, shallow bursts, and your hands started to tremble. You knew what was happening—a panic attack was looming, and you needed to get out of there.

As discreetly as you could, you slipped away from the crowd, looking for a quiet place to breathe, to collect yourself. But the more you searched, the more the panic took over. You eventually found yourself in a secluded corner, your back pressed against the cold wall as you tried to steady your breathing. But it was no use—the panic was already in full force.

One of your members noticed your sudden absence and, recognizing the signs, began to worry. She knew about your struggles with anxiety and how Jisung had always been your safe haven during moments like this. Without wasting any time, she started searching for him, her eyes scanning the crowded venue.

Jisung was across the room, chatting with his bandmates, when she finally spotted him. She rushed over, tugging on his sleeve, her voice urgent. "Jisung, it's Y/N. I think she's having a panic attack."

His expression changed instantly. The carefree smile he had been wearing disappeared, replaced by concern. He didn't need to hear anything else—he knew exactly what he needed to do. Panic attacks were something he understood all too well, and the thought of you going through one alone sent a jolt of worry through him.

He followed your group member quickly, his heart pounding as they navigated through the throngs of people. When he finally found you, the sight of you sitting on the floor, your knees pulled to your chest as a small group of people hovered nearby, trying to help but only making things worse, made his heart ache. He could see the fear in your eyes, the way you were struggling to breathe, and it broke his heart.

"Please, can everyone give her some space?" he said, his voice firm but calm. The group hesitated for a moment, but then they slowly backed off, giving you the room you needed.

Jisung immediately dropped to his knees in front of you, his presence a calming force in the chaos. He knew exactly what to do—he had helped you through this before.

"Y/N," he said softly, his voice cutting through the fog of your panic. "It's okay, I'm here. You're safe."

You looked up at him, your vision blurry with tears, your breathing erratic. Seeing him there, though, started to break through the overwhelming fear. He gently took your trembling hands in his, squeezing them reassuringly. "Let's get you up, okay?"

He helped you to your feet, keeping you close to him, and then, without hesitation, he pulled you into his arms, holding you tightly against his chest. "Listen to my heartbeat," he whispered, knowing that it always helped calm you down. "Just focus on that, okay?"

You buried your face in his chest, closing your eyes as you tried to sync your breathing with the steady rhythm of his heart. The warmth of his embrace, the sound of his heartbeat—it all began to ground you, pulling you back from the edge of panic.

Jisung continued to hold you, one hand gently rubbing your back, the other cradling the back of your head. "You're safe, Y/N. I've got you," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm to your frayed nerves.

Slowly, your breathing began to even out, the tightness in your chest easing as his calm presence enveloped you. The world around you faded into the background, leaving just the two of you in this moment. Jisung's heartbeat, steady and strong, became your anchor, guiding you out of the storm.

When you finally started to calm down, you pulled back slightly, looking up at him with watery eyes. "Thank you," you whispered, your voice still shaky but filled with gratitude.

He smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair away from your face. "You don't have to thank me. I'm always here for you."

Jisung kept you close for the rest of the night, never straying far from your side. Even when he had to engage with others, he would glance over at you, making sure you were okay. He knew how tough these events could be for you, and he wasn't going to let you go through it alone.

The next morning, as the two of you sat together in his apartment, scrolling through social media, you found that the internet was buzzing with videos and photos from the previous night. Fans had captured the moment Jisung had found you, the way he had gently but firmly told the onlookers to back off, and how he had comforted you in his arms.

People had known about your relationship before, but this was the first time they had seen you two so close in public. The reaction was overwhelmingly positive, with fans praising Jisung for his understanding and support.

As you read through the comments, you couldn't help but feel a mixture of embarrassment and gratitude. "I didn't realize we'd get this much attention," you murmured, leaning into Jisung's side.

He chuckled, wrapping an arm around you and pressing a kiss to your temple. "It's because people can see how much I care about you."

"I'm really lucky to have you," you said, looking up at him with a small smile.

Jisung smiled back, his eyes filled with love. "And I'm lucky to have you. We'll always look out for each other, right?"

"Always," you agreed, resting your head on his shoulder.

As the two of you continued to scroll through the posts, you couldn't help but feel a sense of peace. Last night had been tough, but with Jisung by your side, you knew you could get through anything. No matter how overwhelming life got, as long as you had him, you knew you'd be okay.
