1-5 August 2024 - Hometown Return

1 August 2024At this morning my mom notified me that, By afternoon right after I finish college for today. My mom be visiting me by the dorm or pick up. That she will help me clean the dorm and take me back to hometown for couple of days.Which I messaged Sam & Patrick this morning I won't be around by arcade.

As expected, my mom is coming to fetch me by 1pm. Which is unusual that she never been to the college here before and only ever to the dorm. She said she is willing to help me sweep and dust clean my bedroom. It's a good thing I cleaned up a bit and did the laundry.For today class is "Digital Publishing" we spent most of the time in class designing a Corporate business card, the lect isn't good at elaborating stuff that students doesn't understand but at least he is determined serious but bit frustrated on end to make us output best work efforts possible where sometime simple design is better.

My friend is Dodge car manufacturer card cover, girl classmate beside me do Apple which is monotone and modern, and me is Madza with a illustrated MX5 ND but ended up unused because lect said so. Anyway, It's kinda of nice I find myself bit dedicated and next class it's gonna be Letterhead envelopes design. Oh well.

Before heading to dorm, me and mom decided to find a nearby food court or restaurant to eat. She is surprised that's alot of eatery nearby. Although since it's 1:30pm which is peak hour lunch time so parking is hard to find but we found it.

My mom generally worried about my brother's Malay study since he have months left before exam incoming. 

Anyway. Returned to dorm. I was having headache troubling to make a visitor pass for my mom's car to enter but unable to log in so have to manually do a registration with my driving license to let my mom park inside. Mom already prepared cleaning set like wall mop and bucket as well as cleaning liquid for me and her to help full clean up my bedroom. Disposing and reorganizing everything. The dusts, dirty clothing, webs. Changing bed sheets all of it, and she enjoyed doing it while having conversations with me. I can tell she is satisfied good standard of my living styles. With the also new keyboard my dad bought it for me.

Now it looks fresh as ever. Well, we will leave it like this clean until I return next time. Since by evening when we done cleaning and using the bathroom at dorm to bath. My mom set off to take me back to hometown until next week. Of course, my mom respect where I place and organize my stuff but also be considerate.

For this case It feels weird to return to hometown during active semester but the timing and days is reasonable. Although I have to take the drawing tablet with me so I can work on the assignments. And refrain from arcade for bit. But at very least my mom is nice offer snacks with my dormmates. And uhh, I will give it a try to drive back home on long trip myself for first time.

Bit nervous but sure, I made through my mom constant update and status of my speed and when to split or change. lane.

Just as anticipated, Wheel shakiness increase on slightly uneven road when going through high speed like around 110 km/h and watch speed limits.

As well as surrounding lorry & cars.It was pretty far and long straights. The best thing you can do it speed up & look carefully what's ahead. Oh boy, If I were driving a manual. It would be more tiring but still fun.Back near at home town my mom would take a sleep while I continue to drive.

The bus & truck driving behind me are scary as hell with their tall headlights. And on the fast lane if I were too slow they flash at me and I have to carefully switch lane. We made it home and it's cool, but I were too drowsy so I slept right away.

2 August 2024In the morning we all greeted each other great and good morning. My dad, my mom and my brother too. And he showed me with his buzzcut.

At 11pm my mom take my brother to tuition. Which I tagalong. At the same time help my mom carry the soil and pack of stuff to feed the chickens that my siblings is raising in their farm. Which I am interested to have a look.The wild chickens compared to farm chickens. The chickens from the wild have more intelligent and smart at finding other type of worms and eat stuff.

Knowing that ROBLOX is still relevant, well my siblings's son & daughters plays them. Especially Bloxburg the game. Also met my mom's sisters some of them.

By afternoon, We went out somewhere familiar to eat. Conversation with dad is nice, mom compliments my driving abilities. Talking about life up that my brother brag wanting to live there but oh boy. Afterwards I can say hometown is somewhere you can relax the most.While on our way (with family) to eat at dinner. I think about after I finish my assignments with Digital Illustration I can plan to go out to arcade or something in the hometown but I think I would want to relax a bit.

YY this afternoon tried to invite me out to play with him but I am not in KL currently so as my excuse I said I am visiting my parents. So hearing later messages from Patrick & Sam they visited the usual mall and saw them playing team tag with Jasmine. Let me think that I missed something interesting but meeting with family is better anyway.

I volunteer to be responsible who take my younger brother to tuition tonight since it's far away up the street and I can stop by arcade for an hour before come picking up my brother by 9:30pm. So it's much a win-win situation for my parents. Since I also wanted to help my parents, at the same time I want to have conversations with my brother about tuition. Because when comes to education I wish him to not end up bad as me at the same time not to pressure too much.

At the mall in hometown. I saw a vending machine that vendors hotwheels. That the products it sells it's very different with those from KL city. I took a photo and send it to YH and he is surprised. Eventually I agreed to help him keep one of the rare model one and buy it to keep it for him and that he will pay me for it when I return.

For today arcade session until 9:00am. I compete against the veterans there. Yes, I know then. I couldn't beat them using the FUGA but using the RX-3 changed the tide strongly. Most of the time in WMMT. It's 1v2 against them. And there's extreme mind play, They play aggressive very strongly but their weaknesses is unable to avoid traffics which I can see through them. It was really satisfying though but I handshake them before leave. They acknowledge my skills so I did as them so it's mutual respect.

One of the match I was able to fool the opponent to hit traffic right before finish line. Only 3 game, secured 4 win streak. Although I lost at the end back at 1v1. But it's all good because I won them with win streaks. Although they tried to play dirty very hard and bring me to Yokohane courses.

Got back, greeted my dad. As usual he is happy to see me, I gifted one of the hotwheels I bought back in KL. Although it's not high quality or anything which I said and he said it's fine because it's memorable that's all it matters. I have setup my laptop to a table next to my dad's office table which is originally set my mom's office laptop with a laptop stand , keyboard & mouse ready to connect by wires and enough space for my drawing tablet to place let me to continue digital illustration assignments. Thanks dad.
