16 March 2024 - Thriving Day, Controller repair, and WMMT arcade session

Wow, it's 1:30pm already. Time to go bath, eat and go further out to MRT just to insurance claim this poor PS5 controller. Well, Assignments can wait a day I think.

This might also makes me to visit arcade early just look for opponents to versus agaisnt. Since I got free VS tickets to encourage me to do so on Wangan Navigator. Yes, My only main purpose is WMMT the arcade games. Although I should play Initial D The Arcade but it's expensive. Either way, It felt fresh to actually go somewhere further like going out with my family.

I tried to peel off the stickers from my pocket card holders. But It left some stickiness on the back surface so I decided to cover it with Project Sekai Nightcord Miku sticker. Looking good, I should give it by 1 by 1 to other Project Sekai friend as well.

So instead of boarding the MRT train station. I chose to 30 minutes walk from my dorm to there. Although it says it much more faster but train station would be more comfortable. For bow, I will just buy a coffee drink to continue my walk on the way. This weather is hot but can just walk under shade as much as I can.

Hah, By the time I walk fast and jog the way here after 40 minutes I am sweat from top to bottom. Could have board the train station but this exercise should worth it. Not to mention I am swearing non insulated clothing with this heavy laptop bag of mine. Should take a long rest somewhere by the customer service within The Curve mall to insurance claim this dualsense controller.

Haha, my mom is as worrywart as usual. Want to send me money over just for me to buy chilled fruit. Guess mom is always worried about their sons hehe.

Alright, It will be sent to check for issues. Good thing is I did it before warranty hit April. And I been notified to be contacted with my phone number within 1 or 2 weeks.

Damn, I didnt expect the TNG card is out of balance. have to top it up for train station to return to tropicana mall.

Ah, Meeting an arcade buddy and online real friend here. Theyre quite nice and pleasant, few games and we combined bingo cleared. And he is hunting for other bingo frames.

As expected, this arcade buddy got skills that won over me with his sick time attack driving line. Guess it paid off.

Got my WMMT Laurel to look like Cadliac, SVX to look like BMW M6. For the new dress up parts. Surprisingly, the Arcade employees bought a card himself then play new card himself. Damn, I should give him a discarded card. Now I mentioned it, I gave a discarded card for a stranger who is very friendly with his friend. Now gave me the passion to help this new player who happened to be the arcade employee, But it's a game after all. I shouldn't throw all on others. After all, Fun and learning is the process of playing the game instead of rushing to rank higher.

Quite fun for today, I managed to beat zF. The veteran of the game once at end of the finish line but lateral is difficult but theres few trick I can pick up from him. So it's somewhat a friendly match. I also had GUESTs play our cars.


Alright at very least, I borrow my card data to GUEST to earn scratch and points. For this particular time, This couple to played together and I asked her if she can play my card data so she did for one game with her boyfriend. But. Afterwards she accidentally inserted two game and left it reserved in the machine waiting for players to play that 2 credits they inserted. But. She's sat up and now watch her boyfriend plays. That she's clueless that she didn't know she inserted two credits unplayed in that cabinet!

These 2 credits.... Should I play it myself? Or tell them they inserted the credits and left unplayed? If I do, will they realize? Will I get karma for doing so if I decide to do it even they don't realize themselves?? Or should I wait for them to leave the arcade first before occupying the cabinets? This makes me unusually nervous.Alright so they left. Hope they don't realize it and recognize my face? Man, I am stealing people's credits. What's wrong with me...

Here's a more difficult option, To use these 2 credits. On my main card for faster SVX plays before custom color? Or for my brother so he can get Bingo challenge done by combining with mine? Or the 3rd card which have 2 play before scratch.

By far, this is the latest time I ever played. For expending the last 2 credits the other players left I play. Interrupted by 2 local versus battles, Because I decided, to use one credit for bingo challenge just to combine with my brother's card, and one credit for my card's SVX although this left my 3rd card 1 play left of 3 before getting a scratch. But I shouldn't bother too much because it's not my credit and arcade is beyond closing time. Thank goodness the arcade employees willing to wait a little longer before closing down entirely as I finish the game fastest possible.

I guess I'll deal with GUEST's car on my cards. And managed to have 3 of the card obtained same day bingo challenge rewards. Thanks to the online real life friend of mine helped me. So In conclusion I think today's is somewhat a busy but thriving day. While I am leaving the mall, I take the usual path to return to dorm. Seeing the PUBG mobile tournament is still fire and crowded by many people even though most kiosk is already closed at 10:30pm. And it seems like they will hold even more events for tomorrow and later. And I can see workers exiting their kiosk like restaurants one's back door.

For selfish reasons, I usually unintentionally show off my skills to lower skilled players or other players. But of course I won't think of so high myself, Still trying to hold that "I am a good but just chilling person i am" personality.

Come to think of it, Today I only have cereal and coffee drink for this entire day as well as this water bottle in my hand the whole time, and not sure whats the reason I bring laptop with me but at very least I managed to sent the controller for repair check. The only thing left is...I am hungry, still haven't take dinner yet. I guess I'll do that once I get back to dorm to make that fast noodle of mine. By far I realizes this cereal and milk actually saved me some money although I am still unhealthily spending money on arcade credits and play the same game despite I know well I could spend rest of the time playing PC games. Still felt paranoid and idiotic of myself still bring valuable stuff with me and often checks my items and pockets see if anything missing or stolen.

For today's arcade session is very something, I say so myself. I exercised, I enjoyed, I relaxed, but did not busy much with the assignment which I will definitely have to work on it tomorrow.

Oh crap, I forgot to answer that question whether YH want to play GTA online with me tonight, I will just say another day.

I don't know why, Recently I am addicted to Nightrunners Prologue. I been staying up till 3am. Although I ate noodle but I need to bath and then sleep..
