Jihoon sat in the cozy corner of the practice room, the soft glow of the lights casting a warm hue over him. The members of TREASURE gathered around, their laughter and chatter filling the space as they prepared for their Weverse live session. Jihoon, though smiling brightly, felt a growing wave of nausea that he struggled to hide. He had been battling a severe cold for a few days, but he was determined not to let it affect the live session.
"Ready to go live?" asked Hyunsuk, giving the members a supportive smile. Jihoon nodded, his smile slightly strained as he tried to push through the discomfort. He knew his condition wasn't ideal, but he didn't want to let down the fans or his members.
As the live session began, Jihoon greeted the fans with his usual warmth, trying to mask his illness behind a cheerful façade. The fans' comments filled the chat, and Jihoon's heart swelled with gratitude as he read their messages of support and excitement. The other members-Yoshi, Haruto, and the rest-were lively and engaged, their energy infectious as they answered questions and talked about upcoming projects.
Jihoon's head was pounding, and his stomach felt like it was in knots, but he pressed on, forcing himself to focus on the fans and their questions. His breaths were shallow, and he found it increasingly difficult to keep his composure. He took occasional sips from his water bottle, hoping it would help settle his uneasy stomach.
Midway through the live, Jihoon's discomfort became unbearable. He could no longer ignore the waves of nausea that were crashing over him. His vision started to blur, and he felt a cold sweat forming on his forehead. He tried to stay in front of the camera, but the room seemed to spin, and he knew he couldn't hold on much longer.
Without warning, Jihoon's hand flew to his mouth as he tried to suppress the urge to vomit. He made a hasty excuse, his voice trembling. "I... I need to take a quick break. I'll be right back."
He stumbled out of the room, his face pale and contorted with pain. The other members exchanged worried glances as they watched him leave. They could see something was seriously wrong, and their concern for Jihoon grew with each passing second.
Yoshi, who had been especially perceptive of Jihoon's condition throughout the live, immediately stood up. "I'm going to check on him," he said, his voice laced with worry. He quickly followed Jihoon's path, his heart pounding with concern.
Yoshi reached the bathroom door, which was slightly ajar. He pushed it open and found Jihoon kneeling in front of the toilet, his body heaving with the effort of vomiting. The sight broke Yoshi's heart. Jihoon looked utterly exhausted, his face pale and his breaths ragged.
"Jihoon!" Yoshi's voice was filled with concern as he hurried to his friend's side. "Are you okay? What's happening?"
Jihoon looked up, his eyes glassy and tired. He managed a weak, apologetic smile. "I'm sorry... I didn't want to worry anyone. I'm just really sick."
Yoshi knelt beside him, placing a supportive hand on Jihoon's back. "You don't have to apologize. Your health is what matters right now. Let me help you."
Jihoon nodded faintly, his strength waning. Yoshi gently helped him away from the toilet and guided him to sit on the cool bathroom floor. He grabbed a towel and handed it to Jihoon, who wiped his face with trembling hands.
"Here, drink some water," Yoshi said softly, offering Jihoon a bottle of water he had brought with him. "It'll help."
Jihoon took a few sips, trying to steady his breathing. He leaned back against the wall, his head resting on his knees. "Thank you... I didn't want to ruin the live. The fans..."
"The fans will understand," Yoshi reassured him. "Your well-being is the most important thing right now. I'm going to get some help and let the others know what's going on."
Yoshi left the bathroom to find the other members and the manager. He quickly updated them on Jihoon's condition, and they all rushed to support their friend. The manager paused the live session and sent out a message explaining the situation to the fans, expressing their apologies and promising an update soon.
Back in the bathroom, Jihoon was still sitting on the floor, looking pale and drained. Yoshi returned with a blanket and a small first aid kit. He helped Jihoon wrap the blanket around himself, providing some much-needed warmth.
"We're going to make sure you're taken care of," Yoshi said gently. "Just rest for now."
Jihoon nodded, his eyes closing as he leaned back against the wall. Yoshi stayed by his side, keeping a watchful eye and ensuring he was as comfortable as possible. The other members gathered outside the bathroom, their concern evident in their faces. They were eager to help and support Jihoon in any way they could.
As Jihoon rested, he felt a deep sense of relief knowing that he wasn't alone. The support of his members was a comforting presence, and he was grateful for their care and understanding. Despite the pain and exhaustion, he found solace in their unwavering friendship.
The manager arranged for Jihoon to receive medical attention, ensuring that he would be properly cared for and able to recover quickly. The fans, though disappointed by the interruption, sent an outpouring of support and well-wishes for Jihoon's speedy recovery.
Jihoon's condition gradually improved with the help of his members and medical care. The incident had been a difficult moment, but it strengthened the bond between the members of TREASURE. They emerged from the experience with a renewed sense of solidarity and a deeper appreciation for each other's well-being.
As Jihoon recovered, he took the time to rest and heal, knowing that he had the unwavering support of his friends. The live session was rescheduled, and Jihoon returned with a newfound gratitude for the strength and care of his fellow members.
