The atmosphere in the AMPERS&ONE dorm was tense as Kyrell's voice echoed down the hallway, choked with anger and sorrow. The frame and picture that had been gifted to him by his family the day he left for Seoul, Korea, something he'd cherished deeply, lay broken on the floor. Kyrell's eyes were fixed on Siyun, his gaze piercing and accusatory.

"Siyun-hyung," he said, his voice trembling with hurt, "you were the last one in my room. How could you do this?"

Siyun's face fell, brows knitting in confusion and shock. "Kyrell, I didn't touch it. I swear. I would never do that to you."

The other members, hearing the commotion, entered the room, each assessing the broken frame and the wreckage of Kyrell's memento. The accusations, however baseless, stung hard, and Kyrell's emotion seemed to sway the others.

"Siyun, how could you?" Brian muttered, eyes dark with disappointment. Kamden stayed quiet, his jaw set tightly, while Jiho just crossed his arms, looking away in silent frustration.

Without another word, they pushed Siyun toward the door, ignoring his protests and disregarding his pleas to stay and talk it out.

"It's snowing out there," he protested, looking back at them, desperation in his eyes.

But none of them responded, and before he knew it, the door had closed, leaving him standing in the frigid air, wearing nothing more than a thin hoodie and shorts. Snowflakes landed softly on his shoulders and hair, but the sting of the cold was nothing compared to the pain in his chest.

The snow was beginning to fall harder, and a fierce wind bit through Siyun's clothing. His fingers were already numb as he wandered, looking for somewhere he could huddle against the cold. His breaths were shallow, each exhalation visible in the icy air. He finally found some cardboard boxes near the edge of an alleyway and set them down by the dorms trash cans, using them as a makeshift shelter. Curled up and shivering, he could only hope the cold would numb him to everything.

Half an hour passed. His lips turned a deep blue, his skin as white as the snow covering him. His thoughts grew fuzzy, and his body trembled uncontrollably. He'd underestimated the bite of the winter night, and soon his eyes fluttered shut as the cold overtook him.

Back in the dorm, Kamden decided to take out the trash, his frustration and disappointment from the earlier confrontation still simmering beneath the surface. Stepping outside, he saw a small heap covered by the growing snowfall near the bins. Curiosity and a hint of guilt pulled him closer, and his heart stopped when he recognized the face beneath the snow-covered hood.

"Siyun!" Kamden dropped the trash bag, rushing to his friend. Siyun's skin was ice-cold, paler than he'd ever seen. A wave of panic washed over him as he gently shook Siyun, who didn't stir.

Without a second thought, he took out his phone, calling out as he hurried back inside, "Kyrell, Brian, get the car ready! Siyun's in trouble!"

Kyrell's heart sank as he saw Kamden struggling to carry an unconscious Siyun into the dorm. It was only then that the reality of their actions began to settle over them.

Once in the car, Brian cradled Siyun in the backseat, trying to warm him as much as he could. He whispered apologies, praying Siyun could somehow hear them. Kyrell, in the front, struggled to keep his hands steady on the wheel, guilt clawing at him with every second that passed.

When they finally arrived at the hospital, nurses rushed to take Siyun from them, immediately recognizing the signs of severe hypothermia. The doctor informed them gravely that had Siyun been out there much longer, he wouldn't have made it.

As they waited in silence, Kyrell felt tears sliding down his cheeks, the realization of what he'd done sinking in painfully. If Siyun didn't recover, he'd never forgive himself.

Kamden's phone buzzed, the silence in the waiting room punctuated by the loud vibration. It was Seungmo, their maknae who got a call from a manager who had come to visit the dorm earlier after a neighbor heard a crash from the dorm.

"Hyung, listen, I found out what happened with Kyrell's frame," Seungmo explained. "The manger came past earlier while we were at practice he said a stray cat climbed in through Kyrell's window earlier today. It knocked over some stuff on the shelf. I thought you should know—it wasn't Siyun-hyung."

Kamden's heart dropped. The news hit him hard, but his guilt and shock quickly shifted to anger at himself for not defending Siyun, for being so quick to jump to conclusions without listening to him.

After relaying the news, Kyrell's expression crumbled, guilt and regret written all over his face. He slumped down into his seat, his head in his hands, whispering, "What have I done? I should have believed him or allowed him to talk."

A few hours later, they were allowed into Siyun's hospital room. Kyrell was the first to step inside, his heart breaking at the sight of Siyun's fragile form lying on the hospital bed. He sat beside Siyun, reaching out to hold his hand, and let his tears fall freely.

When Siyun finally stirred, his eyes blinking open, he was greeted by the sight of Kyrell's tear-streaked face, his hand clasped tightly around his own.

"Siyun-hyung..." Kyrell's voice was thick with emotion. "I—I'm so sorry. I blamed you, kicked you out into the cold. You almost—" He choked on his words, the weight of the guilt overwhelming him.

Siyun looked at him, his expression soft, the hurt slowly fading from his eyes. "I understand, Kyrell," he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know that picture meant a lot to you. But... next time, please ask me first or even talk to me I.... would have helped you figure it out."

Kyrell nodded, wiping his tears, the shame etched into his face. "I will. I swear I will."

Brian and Kamden entered with hot chocolate, the rest of the members following close behind. Jiho handed Kyrell a cup, his gaze steady, and Kamden offered one to Siyun, his hand shaking slightly as he did.

They each took turns apologizing, their voices heavy with regret, and Siyun accepted each one with a small smile. Despite everything that had happened, he was relieved to feel the warmth of his team around him once more.

As they gathered in the hospital room, the atmosphere was a mix of relief and remorse. They knew this incident would leave a scar, a reminder of how easily trust could be broken and how quick anger could cloud judgment. But they also knew they'd come out stronger, with a renewed commitment to each other.

Siyun, sipping his hot chocolate, looked around at the faces of his friends and bandmates, feeling the warmth seep back into his heart. They would move forward together, and with time, the hurt would heal.

Because, in the end, they were family, bound by a bond no amount of snow or cold could ever break.
