The live stream was in full swing. Jake sat at the edge of the couch, focused intently on his tablet as he read out the questions from the fans during the Weverse Q&A session. NiKi and the other ENHYPEN members were sitting beside him, engaging enthusiastically with the fans' queries. It was a vibrant and exciting time for the group, and they were eager to connect with their fans in real-time.

"Here's a question from @LoveENHYPEN97," Jake announced with a bright smile. "They're asking about your favorite moments from the latest tour, NiKi."

NiKi began to answer the question with his characteristic enthusiasm, sharing his favorite memories from their recent tour. Jake was trying to keep up with the live chat on his tablet, ensuring that he didn't miss any more questions. However, as NiKi spoke, Jake accidentally cut him off with another question that had come through.

"Sorry, NiKi, but we have another question from @ENHYPEN_123 asking about your favorite food!" Jake said, trying to redirect the conversation.

NiKi's expression shifted slightly, and there was a brief, awkward pause before he continued with his answer. The moment seemed minor to Jake, but the live chat was unforgiving. Within moments, comments started flooding in, some harsh and others disappointed. Jake could see them out of the corner of his eye, but he tried to focus on his role.

"Jake always interrupts NiKi," one comment read.

"Why is Jake so rude? He doesn't let NiKi speak," another comment added.

Jake's heart sank as he saw more and more critical comments about himself. He tried to ignore them, telling himself it was just a few unhappy fans. But the negativity was hard to ignore, especially when it was directed at him. The words stung, and a wave of sadness washed over him.

He forced himself to maintain a smile, reading out the next questions and keeping the conversation going. But inside, he felt a growing weight of sadness and disappointment. He was trying his best to be professional, but the barrage of negative comments was starting to get to him.

The live session continued, but Jake's spirit was visibly dampened. He could barely muster the energy to engage with the fans or his fellow members. His usual enthusiasm was replaced with a muted, forced cheerfulness.

As the live session drew to a close, the other members began to thank the fans and say their goodbyes. Jake was the first to stand up, his face betraying none of the turmoil he felt inside. Without waiting for the others, he quickly made his way to the hallway and headed towards his room.

The door closed behind him with a soft click, and the moment he was alone, the mask of composure slipped away. Jake sank to the floor, the tears he had been holding back finally flowing freely. He pressed his face into his hands, trying to stifle his sobs. The hurtful comments replayed in his mind, and he felt an overwhelming sense of isolation and sadness.

What Jake didn't know was that Jungwon had been keeping a close eye on the live stream as well, positioned close enough to see the comments scrolling across the screen. He had noticed Jake's growing discomfort and the sharp shift in his demeanor.

As soon as the live ended, Jungwon quickly excused himself and followed Jake's path to his room. He knocked gently on the door before opening it slightly, peeking inside.

"Jake hyung?" Jungwon's voice was soft but filled with concern. "Are you okay?"

Jake's head shot up, and he quickly wiped his tears away, trying to put on a brave face. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said, his voice quivering slightly.

Jungwon's eyes were filled with empathy as he stepped inside and closed the door behind him. "I saw the comments," he said gently. "I know it must be tough."

Jake shook his head, a mixture of frustration and sadness evident in his expression. "I should've done better," he said. "I didn't mean to overshadow NiKi, and now everyone's upset with me."

Jungwon knelt beside Jake, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Jake, it's not your fault," he said firmly. "Everyone makes mistakes, and the fans' comments don't define who you are or how much we care about you."

Jake looked up at Jungwon, his eyes red and puffy from crying. "But it hurts," he admitted. "I tried so hard to make the live session smooth, and now it feels like I've let everyone down."

Jungwon gave Jake a reassuring smile. "You didn't let anyone down," he said softly. "We all appreciate your effort. Sometimes people are quick to judge, but we know how hard you work and how much you care about the group."

He moved closer, wrapping his arms around Jake in a comforting hug. Jake clung to him, finding solace in Jungwon's warmth and support. Jungwon's presence was a balm to his aching heart, and he felt a bit of the weight lift off his shoulders.

"We're a team," Jungwon continued. "We support each other through everything, good and bad. Don't let a few negative comments overshadow the love and respect we have for you."

Jake nodded, taking deep breaths to steady himself. "Thank you, Jungwon," he said quietly. "I needed to hear that."

Jungwon squeezed Jake's shoulder gently. "Anytime," he replied. "We're in this together. Let's just focus on moving forward and not letting negativity get the best of us."

The two of them sat together for a while, with Jungwon offering quiet words of encouragement and Jake slowly regaining his composure. The emotional support from Jungwon helped Jake to see things in a new light and reminded him of the strong bond he shared with his fellow members.

As they eventually stood up, Jake felt a renewed sense of hope and determination. The hurtful comments were still there, but he now had the strength to face them with the support of his friends.

When the rest of the members came to check on Jake later, they were greeted by a more composed and resilient friend. They all gathered around, offering their apologies and reassuring him that they were there for him, no matter what.

Together, they worked through the aftermath of the live session, turning the experience into a lesson in support and understanding. The group grew stronger, united not just by their music but by the unwavering support they offered each other through every challenge.

And as for Jake, he knew that with Jungwon and the rest of ENHYPEN by his side, he could face whatever came his way, knowing that he was never truly alone.
