The day had been long, but fulfilling. The all-day fan meet and performances had taken their toll, yet Treasure thrived on the energy of their fans. Haruto, as always, gave his best, even though Yoshi and Asahi were absent, recovering from stomach bugs back at the dorm. Jihoon had stayed behind to take care of them, leaving the rest of the members to handle the event.

By the time they finished, Haruto felt an unfamiliar exhaustion settle deep in his bones, more intense than usual. He brushed it off, chalking it up to the usual post-event fatigue. The fans had been lively, and his energy reserves had been depleted. As they climbed into the van to head back to the dorms, he leaned his head against the cool window, closing his eyes for a moment of peace.

The usual chatter from his members surrounded him-Junkyu teasing Jaehyuk, Hyunsuk talking about a new idea for their choreography. Haruto smiled faintly at their conversations but didn't have the energy to join in. He felt a small headache forming, a dull throb behind his eyes, but he shrugged it off. It was normal, right? After all, he had been standing under stage lights for hours.

When they stopped halfway to the dorm to pick up snacks at a convenience store, Haruto got out of the van with the others, though his legs felt a bit unsteady. He hung back, watching them eagerly browse through the aisles, their laughter a comforting background noise. But when Junkyu asked him which flavor of chips he wanted, Haruto found himself struggling to respond. His thoughts were cloudy, and the words in his mind didn't translate the way they should.

"Haruto?" Junkyu's voice pierced through his haze, concern lacing his tone. "Are you okay, man? You're being really quiet."

Haruto blinked, trying to reply, but when he opened his mouth, only a jumble of sounds came out, an incoherent mix of Japanese phrases that even he couldn't make sense of. He frowned, his mind racing. What was wrong with him?

Junkyu's brows furrowed as he stepped closer, waving a hand in front of Haruto's face. "Hey, you good?"

Haruto tried again to speak, but his words slurred, and it was all in Japanese again. He could hear himself, but nothing made sense. He saw Junkyu's eyes widen in alarm as he turned to the rest of the group.

"Guys, something's wrong with Haruto," Junkyu called out, his voice sharp.

The other members gathered around, their snacks momentarily forgotten as they focused on their youngest rapper. Haruto could see the concern in their eyes, but he couldn't explain himself. He wanted to say, I'm fine, but the words wouldn't come.

"What's going on?" Jaehyuk asked, glancing between Haruto and Junkyu.

"I don't know," Junkyu replied, trying to stay calm. "He's not making sense. He's speaking Japanese, but I don't understand what he's trying to say."

Haruto's chest tightened with panic. He tried to form words again, but all that came out was more jumbled Japanese. He could feel the frustration building as his throat tightened. Why couldn't he speak properly? Why couldn't he make them understand?

Hyunsuk placed a hand on Haruto's shoulder, his voice steady. "Haruto, can you hear us? Can you understand what we're saying?"

Haruto nodded slowly, grateful that at least he could still respond to that. He wasn't completely lost. But his thoughts felt like they were slipping away, the headache intensifying.

"We need to get him back to the dorm," Hyunsuk decided quickly, turning to Junkyu. "Call Jihoon, Yoshi, or Asahi. They're the only ones who'll understand what he's saying right now."

Junkyu nodded and immediately pulled out his phone, dialing Yoshi's number. His hands were shaking slightly, but he focused on the call. The rest of the members guided Haruto out of the store and back to the van, his body now feeling heavier than before.
