The Zerobaseone practice room buzzed with energy as the members gathered for their dance practice. Their upcoming performance was a major event, and everyone was excited to fine-tune their routine. As usual, Taerae was expected to be among the first to arrive, bringing his usual enthusiasm and readiness.

However, as the minutes ticked by, Taerae was nowhere to be seen. The clock on the wall approached the scheduled start time, and the initial concern among the members began to shift towards irritation.

"Where is Taerae?" Jiwoong asked, glancing at the clock and then at the empty space where Taerae usually stood.

"He's ten minutes late," Hanbin pointed out, a hint of frustration in his voice. "This isn't like him."

Zhang Hao, who had been practicing his routine, looked up with a worried expression. "Maybe something happened. Should we check on him?"

The members nodded in agreement, each pulling out their phones to call Taerae. As they dialed his number, they noticed something alarming—each of them had multiple missed calls from Taerae. Jiwoong, Hanbin, Zhang Hao, Matthew, Ricky, Gyuvin, Gunwook, and Yujin had all received at least five calls from him.

"This is weird," Matthew said, his brows furrowing as he looked at his phone. "Why is he calling us so many times?"

"He never does this unless it's important," Ricky noted, his concern growing. "We should call him back immediately."

They all dialed Taerae's number at the same time, and after a few rings, he answered. His voice came through shaky and distressed. "H-Hello?"

"Taerae! Where are you?" Jiwoong asked urgently. "We've been trying to reach you. You're late for practice."

"I'm... I'm stuck in the elevator," Taerae's voice cracked, and the panic in his tone was palpable. "It's not moving, and I'm starting to panic."

The members exchanged worried glances, their frustration quickly turning into concern. "Taerae, stay calm," Hanbin said, trying to keep his voice steady. "Are you hurt? Can you breathe?"

"It's really cramped, and I can't get any fresh air," Taerae admitted, his voice trembling. "I've been pressing the emergency button, but no one's come yet. I don't know what to do."

"Okay, we're going to get you out of there," Zhang Hao said firmly. "We're calling the building's maintenance and emergency services right now. Just stay with us and keep talking."

The members sprang into action. Jiwoong and Hanbin hurried to the building's management office to alert them about the situation, while the rest of the members, including Matthew, Ricky, Gyuvin, Gunwook, and Yujin, rushed to the elevator lobby to coordinate with the emergency team.

Meanwhile, Taerae was trying his best to manage his growing panic. The elevator's dim lighting and confined space felt suffocating. His breaths came in short, uneven bursts as he clutched the phone tightly.

"Taerae hyung, just breathe slowly," Yujin's soothing voice came through the phone. "In through your nose, out through your mouth. We're working as fast as we can."

"Okay, I'll try," Taerae replied, his voice barely audible. "But it's hard to stay calm when it feels like the walls are closing in."

The emergency team arrived quickly, working to open the elevator doors. They were faced with the challenge of accessing the elevator shaft, and the process took time. The members waited anxiously in the lobby, their faces a mix of worry and determination.

"I hope he's okay," Gyuvin said, pacing back and forth. "This is taking too long."

"I know," Gunwook replied, his concern evident. "But we have to trust that they'll get him out safely."

The sound of the elevator doors being pried open was a welcome relief. The members rushed to the scene, their hearts pounding as they saw the maintenance workers carefully opening the elevator. Inside, Taerae was huddled in a corner, looking pale and distressed.

"Taerae!" Jiwoong called out, pushing past the maintenance workers. "We're here!"

Taerae looked up, his eyes filled with exhaustion and relief. "Thank you... I was really scared."

The members quickly moved to help Taerae out of the elevator. Jiwoong and Hanbin supported him as he staggered out, his legs shaky and his face drawn with fatigue. They guided him to a nearby seating area where he could rest.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" Hanbin asked, his voice filled with concern as he checked Taerae for any visible injuries.

"No, just... really shaken," Taerae said, his voice trembling. "I felt like I couldn't breathe and my heart was racing. I'm so sorry for causing all this trouble."

The members gathered around him, offering their support and comfort. "It's not your fault," Matthew said gently. "We're just glad you're okay. We should have noticed something was wrong sooner."

Taerae looked up at them, feeling a wave of gratitude mixed with embarrassment. "I didn't mean to worry everyone. I should have found a way to get help sooner."

"No, don't blame yourself," Ricky said firmly. "We should have been more proactive. We'll make sure to stay in better touch and be more aware of each other's needs."

The emergency team finished their work, and the elevator was back in service. The members helped Taerae to his feet, ensuring he was steady before heading back to the practice room.

As they walked back, Taerae was surrounded by his supportive friends. Their worry had shifted to relief, and the bond between them was stronger than ever. The incident had been a stark reminder of how easily things could go wrong and how important it was to look out for one another.

When they finally returned to the practice room, Taerae took a deep breath and looked at his friends. "Thank you all for being there for me. I really appreciate it."

The members smiled, their expressions softening with warmth. "We're just glad you're safe," Gyuvin said. "Let's make sure to support each other, no matter what."

With Taerae's health stabilized and the members' spirits lifted, they resumed their practice with renewed focus and determination. The incident had been a stressful ordeal, but it had also reinforced their unity as a group. They faced the future together, ready to tackle any challenges that came their way, knowing that their bond was unbreakable.
