The rush of adrenaline after a performance was something Jihoon lived for. The pounding beats of their latest track still echoed in his ears as he stepped off the stage, the lights from the music show fading behind him. TWS had just finished a high-energy performance, and the roaring of the crowd still buzzed in his chest. But as Jihoon walked back to the waiting room, a flash of light caught his eye. It was quick, almost like someone had taken a photo directly in his face, and for a second, his vision blurred.

He blinked, rubbing his eyes as he tried to shake off the sudden sensation. Maybe it was just the bright stage lights, or perhaps the lack of sleep he'd been running on for days. Between rehearsals, recording sessions, and back-to-back promotions, none of the members were getting much rest. Jihoon brushed it off. He was used to pushing through exhaustion—he was the main dancer of TWS, after all. Being at his peak wasn't optional; it was a requirement.

"Jihoon, you okay?" Shinyu, their leader, asked as he walked up behind him, a towel slung over his shoulder.

"Yeah, just tired. Nothing new," Jihoon replied, forcing a grin. "Ready to hit the next practice?"

Shinyu chuckled, though there was concern in his eyes. "Take it easy, man. We still have a long week ahead."

Jihoon nodded, but as they made their way to the waiting room, another flash appeared in his peripheral vision. This time, it lingered, like a dull spark in the corner of his eye, and a headache followed, creeping up the side of his skull. Jihoon shook his head subtly, trying to clear the haze.

The next few days were a blur of performances, rehearsals, and interviews. Every time Jihoon danced, he felt the familiar rush of being on stage, but behind it all, something was off. The flashes were becoming more frequent, and each time they happened, his vision seemed to blur slightly. He started getting migraines more often, too, sharp pain behind his eyes that made it hard to focus.

But Jihoon didn't say anything. It was just exhaustion, he told himself. Once their schedule slowed down, he'd catch up on sleep, and everything would go back to normal. There was no point in worrying the other members. Shinyu was already stressed enough with the new comeback, and Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, and Kyungmin were putting in extra hours to perfect their choreography. Jihoon couldn't afford to fall behind.

One evening during a rehearsal, the flashes became unbearable. They were in the middle of running through the chorus when Jihoon's vision flickered like a camera shutter, and suddenly, he couldn't see out of his right eye. Panic shot through him, but he kept dancing, forcing himself to follow the routine through muscle memory. His body knew the moves, even if his eyes couldn't keep up.

But when the song ended, Jihoon stumbled, his heart racing as he blinked rapidly, trying to clear his vision. His right eye was still dark, and a wave of nausea hit him. He staggered back, clutching his head.

"Jihoon!" Youngjae called out, noticing his sudden movement. The music cut off, and the rest of the members turned to him.

"I'm fine," Jihoon said quickly, but his voice was shaky, and he could feel the panic rising in his chest.

"You don't look fine," Hanjin said, stepping closer. "What's going on?"

Jihoon tried to wave them off, but the darkness in his right eye wasn't fading. He couldn't see, and it terrified him. His breath quickened as he rubbed his eye, but it didn't help. "It's just a headache. I... I need some air."

Before anyone could stop him, Jihoon rushed out of the practice room, leaving his members behind. He barely made it to the hallway before the panic fully set in. He leaned against the wall, gripping his hair as his chest tightened. The flashes, the migraines, the sudden loss of vision—it all crashed down on him, and for the first time, he couldn't brush it off.
