The air was crisp and cool, a telltale sign of the approaching winter as the sun began to rise over the horizon. Seongil adjusted his beanie, its warmth a comforting presence against the chill. He stepped out of the dorm, excitement buzzing in his veins for the outdoor event they had been preparing for. The members of 82MAJOR were set to perform in front of a sea of fans, and the energy of the day filled him with anticipation.

"Seongil-hyung, you ready?" Yechan called from the van, his voice slicing through the morning air.

"Yeah! Just give me a second!" Seongil replied, trying to shake off the feeling of the cold nipping at his skin. He had opted for a light jacket, dismissing the need for anything heavier. After all, he was used to the cold; he could handle it.

As they arrived at the venue, the energy shifted to excitement, the thrumming of the crowd palpable even from a distance. They stepped out of the van, and the sound of fans cheering filled the air, fueling Seongil's enthusiasm. He waved to the crowd, feeling the adrenaline course through him as they moved toward the stage for soundcheck.

"Make sure to warm up properly!" Dogyun reminded, concern lacing his tone. "It's really cold out here, you know?"

"I'll be fine!" Seongil insisted, brushing off his friend's worry. "I've dealt with worse."

The truth was, the chill had begun to creep into his bones, but he didn't want to ruin the mood by complaining. He focused instead on the excitement of the day, the practice ahead, and the performance that awaited them.

As the practice began, Seongil felt the initial pangs of fatigue creeping in. The routines felt heavier, and he struggled to keep up with the high-energy choreography they were known for. He tried to shake off the lethargy, attributing it to a long week and the excitement of the event.

"Seongil-hyung, focus!" Yechan called out, noticing his friend lagging behind. "You need to keep your energy up!"

"Yeah, I'm trying!" Seongil shot back, forcing a smile. He took a deep breath, pushing himself to engage more with the dance. But as the minutes passed, he couldn't ignore the heaviness in his limbs and the dull ache settling in his head.

"Alright, let's take a five-minute break," Seongmo announced, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Drink some water, everyone!"

Seongil sat down on the edge of the stage, rubbing his eyes. He could feel a tickle at the back of his throat, a sign that something was off. He took a sip from his water bottle, trying to will the sensation away.

"Hey, you good?" Seongbin asked, sitting down next to him. "You've been a bit off today."

"I'm fine, just tired," Seongil lied, forcing a smile. "I didn't sleep well last night."

"Right," Seongbin replied, not entirely convinced. "Just take care of yourself, okay?"

Seongil nodded, but inside, a knot of unease began to form. He brushed it aside, telling himself it was just a cold breeze that would pass.

As practice resumed, Seongil found it harder to concentrate. The choreography that once felt second nature began to blur, and he struggled to hit the right marks. His body felt heavy, each movement more labored than the last. Despite the cold air outside, sweat began to bead on his forehead.

"Alright, let's try that lift again!" Yechan called, positioning himself for the complicated move they had been rehearsing. Seongil felt a rush of determination surge through him; he had to nail this.

"Three, two, one!" they counted together.

Seongil moved, leaping into the air to complete the maneuver. But as he landed, a sudden wave of dizziness washed over him. He miscalculated his step, and before he could react, he slipped on the slick surface of the stage. The world tilted, and he felt his wrist twist painfully as he landed hard on the ground.
