The lights of the stadium glared down like suns, burning hot against Yujun's skin as he stood in formation with the rest of Xikers. The deafening roar of the crowd filled his ears, their screams a wall of sound that pushed him forward, even as his legs trembled beneath him. Every movement felt like it required twice as much effort as it should have. His lungs burned, his head throbbed, and his throat ached. But the stage waited for no one, and Yujun had no intention of letting his exhaustion show.

They were only halfway through their world tour, and it already felt like he was on the brink of collapse. Weeks of relentless travel, sleepless nights, and high-energy performances had taken their toll on all of them. But for Yujun, it was worse. He hadn't been able to shake the fatigue that had crept into his bones days ago, and now, his body was starting to betray him.

Still, he pushed through. He always did.

As the final notes of the song echoed through the arena, Yujun forced a smile, waving to the fans as the rest of the group gathered at the front of the stage to say their goodbyes. Minjae, ever the leader, spoke into the microphone, thanking the fans for their love and support. Junmin stood beside him, grinning brightly, while the others followed suit, each one adding their own heartfelt words. Yujun nodded along, fighting to keep the dizziness at bay.

His heart pounded in his chest, and sweat drenched his skin. He couldn't tell if it was from the performance or the fever he'd been trying to ignore. Either way, the world around him felt like it was tilting, spinning slightly out of control.

He felt a hand on his shoulder—Sumin, giving him a concerned look. Yujun shot him a quick smile, hoping it was convincing enough. Sumin's eyes narrowed slightly, but before he could say anything, Yujun turned back to the fans, waving once more.

It'll be over soon, he told himself. Just a little longer.

Backstage, Yujun's body finally began to falter. He collapsed into a chair, his breath coming in shallow gasps as he struggled to stay upright. The fever had been simmering beneath the surface for days, but now it felt like a wildfire raging inside him. His vision blurred, and the noise of the crew packing up felt distant, muffled.

He rubbed his temples, willing the headache to subside, but the throbbing only intensified. The air felt too thick, too heavy, and he couldn't seem to catch his breath.

"Yujun."

Junghoon's voice cut through the haze, sharp with worry. Yujun blinked, forcing his eyes to focus on his fellow member, who was now crouched in front of him, frowning.

"You okay?" Junghoon asked, his voice low. "You look pale."

"I'm fine," Yujun muttered, but the words felt wrong, shaky. He swallowed, trying to clear his dry throat. "Just tired."

Junghoon didn't seem convinced, and Yujun couldn't blame him. He knew he wasn't fooling anyone.

Before Junghoon could press further, the rest of the group gathered around, everyone buzzing with post-performance adrenaline. Minjae was the first to notice the tension between Junghoon and Yujun, his eyes narrowing as he took in Yujun's condition.

"Yujun," Minjae said, voice firm. "You don't look good. Do you need to lie down?"

"I'm fine," Yujun repeated, but the effort to speak made his head spin. He pressed a hand to his forehead, trying to steady himself, but his skin felt like it was on fire.

The concern in Minjae's eyes deepened, and before Yujun could protest, Sumin was by his side, one arm slipping around his shoulders to support him.

"You're burning up," Sumin said quietly, his voice laced with alarm. "How long have you been feeling like this?"
