The sun was shining brightly outside the NCT 127 dorm, but inside, a different atmosphere filled the air. The members were buzzing with excitement as they gathered in the living room, huddled together, whispering and giggling like kids planning a surprise party. The focus of their secret mission was none other than their beloved lead dancer, Yuta.

"Okay, so we all agree that we want this to be special for him?" Johnny asked, looking around at his fellow members, who nodded enthusiastically.

"He deserves something amazing this year," Mark added, his eyes sparkling with determination. "We should plan a surprise project that he'll never forget with the whole of NCT, not just us."

Haechan chimed in, "What about a dance cover video? He loves to dance, and it could showcase all of our skills! Plus, we can decorate the studio for his birthday!"

"Great idea!" Taeyong agreed. "Let's work on the choreography together. We can also get a cake and some gifts to present to him at the end of the video."

As the ideas flowed, the group began to brainstorm in earnest. They divided the tasks: choreography, decoration, gifts, and even a heartfelt video message from each member. They spent hours discussing, laughing, and planning, all while keeping their excitement contained, knowing they couldn't let Yuta in on their secret.

Meanwhile, Yuta was blissfully unaware of their clandestine activities. As he prepared for his upcoming birthday, he felt the usual excitement and anticipation. However, as the days passed, he began to notice a shift in the dynamics of the group.

The first signs of change appeared when Yuta attempted to join the other members during their practice sessions. Instead of welcoming him with open arms, they seemed distracted, lost in their own world. Whenever he tried to engage in conversation, they would brush him off, leaving him feeling like a ghost in his own home.

"Hey, guys! What are you working on?" Yuta asked one evening, peeking into the living room where the others were gathered.

"Oh, just some choreography for a dance challenge," Ten replied casually, his focus still on his phone.

"Yeah, it's nothing special," Jungwoo added, not making eye contact. "You know how it is."

Yuta forced a smile, but inside, his heart sank. He couldn't shake the feeling that they were purposely leaving him out of something important. Each time he approached them, they seemed to pull away, like he was a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit anymore.

Feeling increasingly isolated, Yuta decided to retreat to his room. He found solace in practicing his solo dance routines, pouring his energy into perfecting every move. It became a way to cope with the loneliness creeping into his heart. But deep down, he longed for the connection he once shared with his members.

Days turned into weeks, and the closer Yuta's birthday approached, the more he felt like an outsider. The laughter that usually echoed through the dorm felt distant, muffled by the walls that separated him from the joy he desperately craved.

In a moment of frustration, Yuta decided to take a break from group activities altogether. "I need some time for myself," he muttered to himself, unwilling to admit how much he missed the camaraderie.

He spent hours in his room, rehearsing for a solo performance he had started planning. The music became his escape, the lyrics resonating with the emotions he couldn't express to the others. With each practice, he poured his heart into the choreography, losing himself in the rhythm. It felt like the only thing he could control in a world that seemed to have forgotten him.

As Yuta dedicated himself to his solo project, the other members continued their secret mission. They organized outings and activities among themselves, completely unaware of the emotional toll their plans were taking on him. They laughed, took pictures, and made memories without him, their joyful moments shared online for Yuta to see.
